Mike Schultz (the owner) was very professional and easy to talk to from the initial phone call. He gave me great information without a heavy-handed sales pitch. By the way, when I called Clark Associates Invisible Fence their salesperson was very pushy and said negative and untrue things about their competitors. Mike, on the other hand was full of good information and easy-going. I had both companies set up for a quote but cancelled the Clark Invisible Fence visit because of the negative phone call. Mike came the day after my initial phone call to give me a quote. His prices are fixed based on the amount of property that needs fencing. The price is all-inclusive...collar, batteries for 1 year. This made the buying process painless. The batteries last about 5 - 6 months which he provides for 1 year. After that, replacement batteries are very inexpensive (about $25). Much lower than the Invisible Fence battery program. He came at the appointed time for the install which went very smoothly. He stayed with me for a couple of hours to get my dog started on the training. He was very kind and patient with my dog (and me)....armed with treats and praise! I would highly recommend Hidden Fence (Mike Schutz). He made this process effortless and fun!

Everything about the experience was excellent - accurate estimate, responsive to questions, installation appointment was scheduled in a timely manner, local Miss Utility contact made, installation was done carefully, training of people and dogs. Initial training of our two small dogs was gentle and patient. We learned how to gradually give more freedom, yet maintain safety during the first two weeks. Mike was a phone call away if we had questions.

It went beautifully. The company met every criterion for excellent service. They even came back to fix a broken underground wire a month after installation. I was pretty sure that I had committed the injury to the wire, but because he was not 100% sure of this, Mike refused to charge me for the fix. One other thing...these folks are very pet-friendly. My dogs became good buddies with Mike as he very patiently trained them on doggie fence etiquette. This company is a total class act.
