Mr. Minor (Melvin) came to our home and did an excellent job removing all of the grass from the area between our stone patio pavers, and then he proceeded to fill in those cracks with a sealant to prevent any further growth of grass & weeds in the patio area. He also applied a protective coating over the patio. He arrived on time and worked efficiently. The patio looks great now--better than new! We are definitely pleased with his work. Melvin did excellent work building a 5x11 concrete pad for my two HVAC units. The HVAC installers complemented the quality of the concrete pad.

Great experience, George came out for the estimate and after agreeing to everything came out and started a concrete pad with pavers on top. Everything looks great and I would not hesitate to have him do another job for me.

Everything you would want in a repair experience. This was not a major project, loose bricks on steps and patio. Even so, we were treated as valued customers and would not hesitate to use them again. As a homeowner I often don't know where to turn for quality and trustworthy contractors for small jobs I can't do myself. I've tried the internet before without satisfaction. However, Custom Concrete answered my initial request for an estimate immediately. That was the first time that has happened for me with HomeAdvisor and I knew then that my experience was likely to be good. George was on site in less than 24 hours and was able to begin work immediately, which also worked well for us. We accepted George's reasonable quote and he got to work. Phase one of the project required the demolition of an existing brick/concrete walkway and it proved to be twice as difficult (and time-consuming) as expected. George and his crew took it right in stride and got the job done. Our new walkway is level, solid and beautiful thanks to Custom Concrete and George's fine team of craftsmen. We plan to ask George to do more work for us and we highly recommend Custom Concrete for handsome concrete work done right.

Mr. Minor was always prompt, curteous, and communicated well. He developed a few plans to resolve the issue, with cost estimates, and allowed us time to decide. I plan to contact him if I have other, similar jobs.

Initially I thought I wanted just a concrete pad. When George (Melvin) came out to look at the work he explained a few options I had with regard to a patio. I decided to change the work to a gravel base and wait until I had a deck installed to get the concrete base for the pavers that’s I want for my patio. George was on-time for our meetings and started the work the next day after we signed a contract. The project turned out as expected and quickly with no surprise costs at the end. I will be using him for follow-on work at my house and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND his company to anyone looking for concrete work and/or grading.
