+ -1 moreAfter the consultant stopped by to give an estimate, he emailed the quote and I asked him to call me the following day so I could give him my credit card info to pay for the blinds and to schedule the installation. Never heard from him.

+ -1 moreDO yourself a favor and do not sure these guys for your blinds. They have an answering service when you call and the person does not have any idea about your order. They take over a month and still no info on my blinds all money was taken upfront. They will harass you for the service they will not perform you will regret it.

Description of Work: Briefed us on Budget Blinds various window blind products and showed us how they would look. Each window was individually measured, since windows are tailored made. We selected a type and style for installation on 7 windows. We were given an estimated installation date which was met. Budget Blinds called to coordinate the actual installation date. Installers were punctual - installation completed in approximately 2 hours. Installers showed us how to operate opening and closing of the windows and were professional and courteous. We are very pleased with our new blinds.

The in-home sales rep was easy to schedule, arrived promptly, was personable, knowledgeable and listened to exactly what we wanted. She was prepared to offer suggestions but we had already decided what we wanted. She did not try and up-sell us or change our minds and she went out of her way to find the best price for our selection. The product came in ahead of schedule and we had to delay the installation several weeks due to other work being done in the house. They were completely flexible - no "storage charges" or hassle in any way. We were told "just let us know when you are ready and we will come out." Installation was on time, very quick and professional. The blinds look perfect. Very high quality and installed perfectly. No complaints whatsoever. We will be using this company in the future.

+ -1 moreIt went very well. The technicians were on time, efficient, professional, and polite. They were in and out of our house in minimal time. The new blinds are perfect for the room and look great. We couldn't have had a better experience. I'll also add that the saleswoman was extremely knowledgeable professional. She was very helpful in every regard and didn't try to oversell us.
Description of Work: The Budget Blinds technicians removed all the blinds in our living room and replaced them with new blinds. They also moved two sets of blinds and installed them in another room.

+ -1 moreAwesome every time. We have had lots of different install crews - including Wayne himself. All crews were on time, courteous, communicated well, efficient, and tidy. And the shutters are so beautiful!
Description of Work: We have used Budget Blinds in Warreton, VA (Wayne Powers) multiple times now for our plantation shutters. We first called Wayne to get a whole-house estimate for plantation shutters - so that we would have all of our dimensions on file as we completed each room. One of the most impressive jobs Wayne has completed for us was the installation of our SLIDING plantation shutters (for our sliding patio doors) in the our family. GORGEOUS! We couldn't find anyone with a product as nice, or with the ability to perform this type of job. The sliders also have a transom piece above the door, which made for a very tall shutter request. No other company was able to offer us a shutter in the exact dimensions we needs. All the other companies had to do it in two pieces. While the job was expensive, it was WORTH EVERY PENNY! We love them! We get so many compliments. Additionally, we have had many plantation shutters put in around the house (and will continue to do so until we are done!). What a great look! Wayne really helped us select the best product for our home.

+ -1 morePurchasing the shutters was a conversational process. Describing how the shutters would be installed without impacting the ability of the windows to fold in for cleaning. Options for shutters on the doors was fully described so we could decide which capabilities we could choose. The wait time was six to eight weeks and it was eight weeks before the shutters arrived. Installation was very professional the installers polite and it was completed very rapidly. This is the second home we've had plantation shutters both homes looked good. But the complexity in our new home was greater and the salmon Wayne Powers did a suburb job explaining the shutters the installation and the end look. Cost was about 20% lower than the other quotes. Very satisfied and recommend Wayne and his team.
