Ed the technician has been servicing my oil furnace for a few years and is always prompt and efficient.

Everything was great, but the price was quite steep. They came on good recommendation which is the only reason I agreed to have them continue to do the work after the quote. I am pleased with their work which comes with a 1 year warranty. The job was very quick only taking them 1 hour to complete. I don't know that I would hire them again purely because of the cost. They are very expensive. I would have given them an F in cost but they are very good about the cost up front (even though you have to pay $49 to get the quote).

Installed it that day; without increasing the charged fee for installation and the equipment.

Smoke detector-- $882 ($147 each, total 6), after 10% discount $794. GFI protector -- 219, after 10% discount $197. I searched internet regarding the pricing after the work was done, and found the charge was ridiculously high, especially for the smoke detectors. There was no wiring work; just replaced 6 smoke detectors. A reputable company should have reasonable pricing!

He found that we needed replacement parts. I'm trying to remember if he told us to go and get them at Walmart to save some money but it was fixed to our satisfaction.

They lied to me. I was getting a backed up sump pump and they told me there were problems. I basically said, "What's the charge to have them come out there today, just for a site visit." They said $60. I haven't used them again. I know my neighbors use them a lot; they're out there a lot. They tried to upsell me. They were quick and were very punctual.

The technician was punctual, polite, and very complete in troubleshooting my A/C system. Unfortunately, he identified thousands of dollars of unnecessary repairs, then offered to sell me a new system, and at the end of the day he did not correctly fix the problem. I was quoted over $9,200 of "to do list" repairs, such as a $1,100 "air scrubber ultra-violet air purification system" and $1,300 to refill refrigerant, among others, which had nothing to do with correcting the problem or were superfluous. The technician then suggested rather than paying $9,200, I should consider "upgrading" to a new system with price quotes from $10,200 to over $16,500. The technician did get the A/C system running after installing an under-rated 4uF blower motor capacitor (needed capacitor rating is 5uF) and he did not reinstall the air filter, although he certainly should have known the system manual clearly cautions to "never operate furnace without a filter in place. Doing so may damage the furnace blower motor." The system was ultimately correctly diagnosed and repaired by a different A/C company at minimal cost.

They do great work but they're a little high pressure on the sales side.

Technicians were on time and very courteous. They thoroughly inspected and cleaned my 15 yr old air conditioner and changed my air filter as advertised. Although they indicated that the system was nearing the end of its life due to high readings for volts, and strain on the motor, etc., they did not pressure me to unnecessarily replace parts at this time. They did provide me with a few options for repairing or replacing the system in the future should it fail, all without the high pressure attempt to sell me more than I need at the moment (something I hate). I would definitely recommend both the company and technicians to others.

They quickly isolated the problem. There are outlets outside the house. One of them was missing a cover causing water to get into the outlet and causing the short. They installed covers and did whatever else needed to be done to resolve the he problem. They were very professional, and took the time to explain the problem. Previously, the company was here to do a repair. I can't recall what it was, but at that time they also did excellent work. In addition to making the necessary repairs, they gave me a checklist and estimates of items that needed addressing. At that time, there was a lot going on (we had just moved in), and although they explained the items on the list, I didn't focus. At the recent service call, I dragged out the checklist, and asked the men to explain it again. They sat down and took the time to thoroughly explain all items on the list and answer all my questions. I highly recommend the company and will be using them toe get started on the checklist in the very near future.

They didn't lean the system stating that is too old to be cleaned and I will need to spend additional monies to have the system cleaned.

The service provider was so helpful. He not only checked everything, but also explained what he was doing. He didn't try to sell me a bunch of repairs - he just told me what he saw needed to be done and what didn't. Highly recommend.

Tech was informative and quick.

I woke up this morning to a cold house. I had initially called another company, letting them know I had an Oil furnance. When that company came out, they told me that they didn't service Oil furnances. It took me five calls before I found Appleton Campbell and that was because of my Oil Company. They were upfront we me and told me there would be a dispatch fee and diagnostic fee. When Eric arrived he was very courteous and took time to explain what he was doing and what was wrong. Eric was very upfront and performed the work quickly and professionally.

Ed Seeley has been to our home to service our oil burner furnace for several years. He’s methodical and thorough in his work and is extremely personable while also the consummate professional!

It took a while to find an opening in their schedule. They probably should have been available within a week of me getting the big deal.

Arrived on time. Did what was purchased and was willing to look at the humidifier (which was not part of the deal) as well and provide recommendation. I was very happy with the level of service I received and would be willing to hire them again.

It went fine. It ended up being $1500 more. They were good.

Chris came on time and did a very professional and thorough service. He's very knowledgeable. During the course of maintenance schedule, he provided lots of details on what he's doing and what changes are required in the future. This helped us prepare for future maintenance and changes. All in all a great service provider and would definitely recommend to my friends.

To Who It May Concern , I am a retired Electrical Construction and Maintenance Foreman for over 35 years from INOVA Fairfax Hospital Engineering Department and was very good at what I did and handled many Contracts . So when my old furnace blew up I got 3 prices of which Appleton/Campbell was not the cheapest one and I was going to get Trane equipment but after I talking to Appleton/Campbell's take off man and their Estimator I decided on Carrier and from them . It took me a few night to ( Swallow their bottom line ) , but i am most certainly glad that I did . My parents were right again ( You Get What You Pay For .) They were right on the money with their estimated time of completion . Like I told them , ( I was a picky old b****** as for as neatness and workmen ship goes ) and for a picky old b****** I was overwhelmed with the finish product as far as their workmen ship and nearness and with out any nagging from me . It took them a little better than a day and a half and all toll their were 5 different men here at different times and every one of them were as nice as they could have been at least in the Construction Trade . You could tell that they all were loyal company men that liked their jobs and their Bosses which showed up very clearly in their workmen ship .I wanted to wait at least a month until I got use the the sounds and operations of every thing and boy this Carrier Equipment is quiet as a mouse and is easy to operate even for a 74 year old man. I would most certainly recommend not only the equipment but also would highly recommend the installing contractor better known as - APPLETON/CAMPBELL Plumbing - Heating - Air Conditioning and Electrical of Warrenton Va.. The best most comprehensive and detailed HVAC in the 13 years I lived in the house. Technician's expertise was superior. Every part of the visit was outstanding.
