I called on Friday afternoon and they would have sent someone but we had plans for the evening so they put me on the list for Saturday. Saturday afternoon Chris Beard arrived. He put on protective shoe covers at the door. He listened to me first, then checked some things and asked me a few questions. He checked some more and gave me recommendations including things which he specified as optional. His explanations were clear and he was VERY forthright. He took the time to show me my costs based on different factors including a yearly contract with them which he did NOT try to strongarm me into choosing. He even brought up his competitors (who had installed the current system) and spoke about warranties I might have with them. As it turned out I did indeed have a longer term warranty than I thought with his competitor. He actually spoke with rhem on the phone and gave them some info they needed to help me. In the end it made more sense to go with the original installers so he only charged me for the diagnostic services. However, Chris' willingness to cooperate with them and going so far as to recommend I utilize with them was reminiscent of Macy's sending people to their competitor in "Miracle on 34th Street." Chris was appropriately friendly and very professional; I am impressed with Chris Beard in every way. Because of my experience with him, I will keep Appleton Campbell in mind for future needs and will gladly recommend them to others.

Two separate contracts and appointments. Showed up on time, called before arrival and I knew what employee was coming. Competitive pricing, but more importantly quality service and honest and personable employees. Came with all necessary parts and gave me options did not try to upscale but gave me realistic options for my house and financial status. Replace outdoor unit (heat pump) Carrier and new compatible furnace with free electronic air filter. Fantastic company!

The technicians were friendly and knowledgeable. The end product was excellent. The office was professional (mostly). The price seemed fair, but I would venture a guess that I could find cheaper, but I wanted a quality installation. I can confirm I found competition that was much more expensive. The only issue I had was scheduling both the quote and the work. In this case we needed both an electrician and plumbers complicating the situation. We scheduled both disciplines to quote on the same day. The electrician missed the window and had to come the next day. For the work to be performed, we again scheduled for a single day process but due to illness apparently had to reschedule for the following day. At that point, I complained to the office due to the inconvenience of taking 4 days out of the office for a 2 day job, looking for a little price reduction. The office manager I spoke to was more interested in defending their position than seeing my side. In the end he granted me a $50 online coupon, reduction yes, but I'm not sure why I wouldn't have been entitled to that regardless. Honestly, in the end I was happy and would hire again due to the quality of work, reasonable price and professionalism in general. They would have received high marks across the board if it wasn't for the scheduling issues. I hope that was just bad coincidence.

I thought it was very expensive for what I got compared to when I went to the store to check out the same thing. I will use them again. I will be more careful with the pricing but use them again.

I called a number of companies, however, Appleton/Campbell was responsive immediately. Serviceman arrived on time, checked the problem out, and determined electrical issue was with power company. Called the power company for me and waited until they arrived. Also, fixed a number of small issues requiring service. James, the technician, assigned to my service call was extremely courteous and efficient. I will call Appleton/Campbell for all my electrical needs. Great technician, great company, great service.

I was cleared that I did not need the thermostat. They are the one's you can hook up to your i phones. I didn't need that. I am at home. The humidifier does not humidifier adequately in the winter. The first guy that came out I really loved. When they got the sense that I trusted them, they sent out another guy that sold me a bill of good. I am not happy with them. Stuff that they put in. It was very very expensive. All the guys that work for them are great. I loved the guys they work for. The management people that make the commissions, sold me stuff that I didn't need. It was expensive. It didn't do the job that I needed it to do. That was very good. Very good. Every time I called, they came out. Very punctual. They are not close to me. They got here. They let me know where they were. No complaints about that either. Except for that one guy that screwed me over, they were professional. I have a service contract with them, and I like the guys that work with them. Everything was cleaned. It was great.

He came out and did the work. He made a recommendation for a couple repairs which we didn't end up have done because we might get a whole new system. He was courteous, he was clean and he didn't even come in the house without booties on. Very please with them. I really liked that he had recommendations and didn't push that they could do them right away. One of the recommendations was something my husband could buy a tool and do himself. No up sale. They really were terrific, they responded to the call immediately. Scheduled me within in a short time, they came on time. It was just an over all positive experience.

The job went great. I called for an appointment at 7:30 in the morning and was pleasantly surprised that Appleton Campbell was able to work me into the schedule on the same day. The gentlemen arrived right on-time, put protective covers on their shoes, assessed the job and gave me an estimate. I accepted the estimate and the job was performed. I am very satisfied with the work and I would highly recommend Appleton Campbell to others. Everyone was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.

The service went well. Although it was hot outside, the two dug the trench, ran the line, ran the conduit and wiring, tested it and completed the job. They followed up with seed and hay.

Extremely well without any problems; every Appleton Campbell employee, from internal administrative personnel to the people who actually did the work were all very professional and competent. This company was the best contractor that we have ever hired.

Just bought a older home, and wanted to get heat pump inspected before turning it on for the season. Scott checked everything and walked me through some options for fixes (some I knew about and was happy he independently found them).

Company employee arrived promptly, worked efficiently & was courteous, personable. Work was performed in basement. I did not observe work.
