Description of Work: Explained plumbing issue during scheduling. There was a simple, inexpensive solution. However, plumber stated he did not have part in his big truck and wrote estimate to replace entire plumbing structure. I called and spoke with manager who waived flat fee of $49.00 to diagnose, and they left. They could have fixed a minor issue and provided great service, but they chose to try and gouge me.

Description of Work: I found Appleton via Angie's list a couple of years ago for routine service on my HVAC. They came out earlier last week and did a service on my AC, and found $3000 worth of work that needed to be done. So I decided to replace the entire heat/AC system (which was 10 years old and builder grade). They came two days later and installed a jazzy new Carrier system and I was delighted not only with the work they did (the crew of three did the whole thing in about five hours) but with the guys themselves. They were a treat. I'd recommend Appleton-Campbell to anyone, with five stars!

Description of Work: Fall was the HVAC; February was the well pump. Appleton Campbell was our first choice both times and did not disappoint. Submersible well pump (200'+) was replaced same day we called, as they arrived to determine problem in same truck needed to replace pump (and it had the needed pump, wire and piping.)
