Description of Work: Semi-annual check of HVAC system. May-cooling; Nov-heating. I have had a contract for 6+ years with App-Campbell to include an installation of a high efficiency Trane heating and cooling system in 2009 and 2010 (house has two systems for up and downstairs. I believe they are somewhat higher in cost but I believe you get what you pay for because all services provided have been excellent and the systems installed were high end to replace builder grade units (that were functioning OK at the time of replacement but I took advantage of tax rebates offered). I currently pay $731/yr for 2 AC/heat pump units, gas furnace, humidifier and electronic filter svcs. Parts and svc calls extra w/10% discount because of contract.

Description of Work: Plumber refit toilets, fixed leaky faucets, tested water quality and installed water softener and filtration system. |Furnace technician replaced part on furnace, cleaned A/C. |Electrician surveyed all electrical systems and made suggestions to bring up to code. |They were all very polite, neat and considerate of my house, and seemed very well informed. Pricing was according to their standard fees.

Description of Work: Replaced 3 front exterior lights and installed new kitchen faucet / soap dispenser. Work was done in a timely manner and without incident, but pricey (more pricey than expected). | |Cost of service covered installation of three exterior lights and one kitchen faucet and soap dispenser. Homeowner provided materials.

Description of Work: Changed out a faucet that we purchased separately. Excellent work. Punctual. Professional. Thought price very steep for the amount of work. We had him quote another job as well and it was steep. Did not hire for second job.

Description of Work: I needed my water supply line moved in order to frame out the wall. In addition, I replace my old hose faucet with a frost-fee faucet since the work was all in the same location.

Description of Work: The plumber arrived within several hours of my call, even though it was not an emergency--very prompt response. He was very polite and professional. He explained what needed to be done and the price and provided me with a written work proposal. He cleaned up after himself quite thoroughly and even wore cloth shoe covers when he was in the house. His original estimate was for replacing faulty pipes resulting in multiple leaks under my kitchen sink. He charged me exactly the amount of the estimate even though the pipes proved to be only part of the problem. The hose on my sink spraying feature also needed replacement, so he replaced the hose and installed a new spray head (my spray head did not fit the replacement hose). I offered to pay for the additional parts, but he said no. I suspect that that was company policy and I appreciated it. I will call Appleton Campbell for my future plumbing needs.

Description of Work: Had an ultraviolet light device installed on the return side of my gas furnace and routine winter service performed. Technician arrived at the time I was told he would by the office staff. Efficient work done, no extras. Great customer service. Also secured a maintenance contract on the unit.

Description of Work: I contacted this company for a geothermal estimate, and they did not work directly with residential geothermal installation. However, they were MOST helpful in answering all my questions about geothermal heating/air conditioning, and said that I could call for information any time. I took them up on that offer several times, and they were most gracious.
