Each of the jobs that American Remodeling and Home Repair handled at our home provided an opportunity to demonstrate Scott's ability to design and build functional spaces that blended in with the colonial motif of our home. The house, being almost 70 years old posed a number of challenges that Scott was able to overcome through utilizing the many skills that he has picked up over the years. Of the numerous jobs accomplished, the custom design and build of the lower level family and sun room is the most impressive. Scott was able to take a raw space and turn it into over 400 square feet of addition living space. A first for Scott, he designed and hand built a custom colonial fireplace surround and mantle that rivals the one that we have in our living room. He maintains all of the necessary Licensing, Bonds and Insurance to more than adequately cover any job that he does. Depending on the size and scope of the project, he has ready access to highly skilled and experienced sub-contractors in the concrete, electrical, plumbing and heating professions. By utilizing sub-contractors on a ?need only basis? Scott can better manage his overhead costs and keep them at a minimum which in turn translates to fair and reasonable prices to you. We definitely look forward to working with Scott Smith and American Remodeling and Home Repair for the remaining jobs that we have on the drawing board.
