Description of Work: They cleaned discolored areas off the roofing and made the roof look uniform. This is important in Reston because the Homeowners Association will not permit a home to be sold if the roof is visibly stained. For anyone similarly fastidious or with a similarly fastidious Homeowners Association, A-Team is highly recommended: they did the job without any fuss or the need for a re-do.

Description of Work: We had a lot of moss and lichen (I think) on the roof. And, it was stained a dark grey. They cleaned the whole roof in two different steps to make sure they got it all. It looks great. They were courteous in keeping me apprised of when they would be able to do the project and very thorough with follow up calls to make sure we were satisfied. Their customer service is excellent as well as their work and cleanliness. I recommend them to anyone who has this type of roof problem.

 + 1 moreThey were very thorough with their work. When there was a glitch, they were happy to go back and fix it for us. They complete redid their mistake. The deck look like it was brand new when they finished.
Description of Work: They cleaned the roof and the siding. They also did a deck cleaning. They stripped the old finish, neutralized it, sanded the entire deck, restained and resealed it. Project was started on May 1, 2011 and finished May 18, 2011.

 + 0 moreI was not really sure where to go for this service. I just knew my roof was looking quite unattractive and something needed to be done. I used Angie's List but there were a scarcity of reviews on this type of company. I decided to take a shot here and glad I did. When I called, Ryan, the owner, happened to be close by so he was at my home within 2 hours of the call. He gave the estimate on the spot and answered all of my questions about the process and potential problems with the job. He said he would call us to set an appointment the following week. The next week was a rather rainy one so he called to let us know it would be delayed and than showed up the first of the following week. The results were better than I expected. I am a Realtor and will be recommending A Team and roof cleaning to my clients both as a great way to increase curb appeal and to really brighten up an older roof. I anticipate calling them back int he spring to power wash our deck.
Description of Work: Had A Team clean the moss, algae and lichens off my 18 year old roof and they also power washed our brick walkway.

 + -1 moreThis company is great to work with. My initial call was returned promptly and Ryan was professional during our phone conversation. He was up front about the range of potential cost (depending on the job) and discussed the job in detail with me. He was delayed during the appointment before mine, but called to explain he would be late. He and his partner were neat and courteous. And my roof looks great now. I had a hard time finding a contractor I would trust to do this job. Estimates I received from other companies were all over the place and I really did not find another company comparable to the A-team. $600 seems a bit high, but maybe it isn't since they are in a class all their own.
Description of Work: I had algae, lichen, mold, and rust stains on my 4 bedroom dutch colonial home and attached garage. They applied a soft chemical roof wash and rust stain treatment.
