Dave at Princess Anne Contracting is personable and professional; certified and ethical. A few months ago, I had a small roof leak after a storm. I had contacted a different company and they tried to take advantage of me. The dishonest company quoted me $7,000 and said the back half of the roof needed to be replaced. I knew this was false because I had a home inspection two months earlier and the inspector said the roof had several years left. I contacted Princess Anne Contracting based on a neighbor’s recommendation. Dave promptly came out and quickly identified the problem - a small piece of flashing had come loose. Dave immediately fixed the flashing, also fixed a shingle he noticed was coming loose and even cleaned out a gutter that he noticed had some debris in it. It only cost $125. Dave saved me $7,000 dollars that the unethical company tried to charge. Dave assured me that the roof still had several years before it needed to be replaced. And, I’m happy to say that several months later, Dave’s repair held up like a champ while the remnants of Hurricane Ian passed through last night! Quality work at an affordable price. Not only did he diagnose the cause of the leak, he gave us several different options on how to go about fixing the issues. He helped us to find ways to cut costs but still have quality repair work done! The leaks needed immediate attention and Dave sacrificed time out of his already very booked schedule to fix our leaks before a major thunderstorm was forecasted in three days!! Dave was great. He suggested getting the insurance out to see if they would cover it and they covered half of it due to a recent storm blowing off shingles. Once the insurance company came through he got out to my house soon after and got the whole roof done quickly. It looks amazing. Any time I need any kind of roof work I will contact them.

Dave and Rick were undoubtedly one of the best contractors I have ever worked with. They reviewed the job, discussed obstacles and concerns and provided in depth details on their proposal. They went on to complete the roof in a very timely manner, while battling weather constraints and keep me updated through the whole job. The job was done entirely to my satisfaction, the clean up was wonderful and they even called back to see if I was still happy and all was well. I was so impressed with their integrity and level of workmanship that I am currently in the process of contracting with them for another job.

Great - Gave came out to provide an free estimate and so we sat on the roof and discussed what he can do to identify the issue and repair the issue correctly. He could tell the original job was not done correctly. He emailed me his estimate, I sent him my go ahead agreement and we settled on the date for the job. Dave arrived with his partner at the agreed time and date and immediately started the repairs. I had thoughts of going up on the roof but I did not want to interfere, besides me and heights don't get along. The job was competed in approximately 5 hours. Now all it took was for the first rains to come. and a day later it rained very hard. It rained again and again and each time the rains came, NO LEAKS Job well done Dave. I emailed Dave and told him we are still dry after all the rain we have had and to this day his job is hold true. Strongly recommend Dave and his company.
