Wolak Interiors is a very professional company that does great work. The owner Mark Wolak, is pleasant, accommodating, and very flexible. I first bought an Angie's List Big Deal coupon for wall paper removal and interior painting for $249. His crew of Chris and Anthony did a great job of removing the wallpaper and adhesive from one wall in my office/den, which doesn't always happen especially since the wallpaper that been on the wall for after 25 years. You would never know that the wall ever had wallpaper on it. They also painted the entire room including the ceiling with 2 coats of paint. The room looks amazing; what a transformation.Because of the great work that Mark's crew did with the wallpaper removal and interior painting, I bought another Angie's List Big Deal for "2 Painters for a Day." I also wanted some ceramic tile installed in my master bathroom, as well as drywall repair work done in my attic. Mark gave me a very fair price for the additional work and subtracted the Angie's List Big Deal coupons that I had purchased. We had our master bedroom and bathroom painted by Anthony and Eddie including the ceiling with 2 coats of paint. In addition, they painted the walls in our living room, one of which is 16 feet high with 2 coats of paint. Our newly painted bedroom and bathroom look totally amazing, what a difference they look. Anthony and Eddie did a great job with the painting and are very professional in every way. Chris did a great job with installing ceramic tile around the outer edge of our garden tub. It now looks complete. Great job. Chris also did a very good job repairing some drywall in our attic. I also requested Mark to provide me an estimate to paint 2 guest bedrooms, a guest bathroom and a laundry room including the ceilings. with 2 coats of paint. Mark gave me a very fair price. Mark's crew of Chris, Anthony and Eddie took their time and did a great job. The fresh new painted rooms in our house really look great; and our house feels and looks more inviting. Wolak Interiors is a very professional company; and I will be using them again.

It went very well. They did a good job. We would use them again.

I felt that the painters were very courteous and respectful but I think they did mediocre work. It got to the point where it got to be a mess. I ended up doing the second coats on the bedroom walls myself. I went from a white wall to a somewhat beach color. When they did the first coat it looks like they didn?t shake the paint or put paint thinner in it. When I did the second coat it finished liked it was supposed to. We were just disappointed in the job altogether. It cost us 3 extra days to complete and get everything situated ourselves. Update on 6/9/12: The owner contacted us after submitting the review and offered to refund half of what we paid for from the Angie's List Big Deal. We initially accepted until he stated, in return, to remove the review we had left for Wolak. We then declined the offer. We would have been willing to give his company another chance to prove themselves by doing additional work the right way and then updating this report reflecting they came to make things right.

Mark Wolak is great. He is very pleasant, accommodating, and flexible. He gave me a very fair price for the work that his guys did and subtracted the Angie's List Big Deal coupons that I had purchased. His crew did a nice job of removing the wallpaper and adhesive before painting, which doesn't always happen. You would never know that the walls had paper on them! They also patched an old telephone box hole that we no longer used and I cannot find a single scar to suggest it was ever there. Amazing! My only semi-complaint is that the guy who was there the last day seemed rushed (because of another job he was already supposed to be on, apparently) and a few areas needed further attention. I called Mark and he and one of his guys came out the same day and made it right. I have worked with several painters over the years and these guys are definitely at the top of the pack!

They did a great job. They had to reschedule a couple of times but it wasn’t a problem and everything looked good!

I paid $1499 for a Big Deal and he charged me an additional $1400 and is now trying to charge me another $600. The workmanship was awful. I had to call them 3 times to have him come back. The 3 times I called he gave me a different dollar amount for the work, which makes me question his pricing. There was a quarter size hole in the grout at the edge of the tub. I could see the studs and there wasn't even any drywall there. I had a brand new bathroom vanity that was covered in plaster. They mudding in the closet was not done at all. Mudding is a 3 day process and they did it in 15 minutes. The shelving in the closet was not put up correctly at all, the shelves were just laying on the floor in the closet. He refused to provide me with an invoice for what I was being charged for. I provided all of the materials, so everything I was being charged for was for labor. The owner did not personally check the work at all. I tried to tell him that the shelving in the closet was not put up correctly and he said it was. He said the work was going to take a week to week and a half and it took over a month. I am happy with the work as it stands now, but I had to take time out of my schedule to get him to come finish it. The first four days he sent men out and they did a great job, but after that they would show up every now and then. The owner claimed that he had them working weekends on my place, 8 hours on Saturday and Sunday. I was working on the house myself everyday, so I know when they were there. I took pictures of the interior of my home every few days.

I was pretty happy with the work. I wasn’t too happy with some of the preparations and more feathering could of been done, otherwise it looks a whole lot better than it did before.

It turned out really good. They worked really hard. They did more than what we thought they were going to do. We were happy with their service.

They were good. There were two men here and they were supposed to be here for a certain amount of time and one of the guys started cleaning up about 45 minutes before that. We clarified that and they continued on. I know they needed to clean up but it doesn’t take 45 minutes to wash brushes.

Mark Wolak met with me and we discussed what was to be done and the desired endstate. Mark and his crew started on time, were very neat and professional, and finished on time and on budget. Chris, was the technician from start to finish and during the course of the remodel went above and beyond what was required on several occasions. We couldn't be happier. Wolak interiers was very competivley priced as well. As a matter of fact, Mark and Chris will be performing a major remodeling project in our kitchen this fall. I intend to use Wolak Interiers for all of my home improvement needs. I highly recommend them. S/Ben and Fay

Overall we are very happy with the completed job. I will admit that the process did take longer than what I had thought. I am glad we had the wiggle time in our schedule to not make for a mover/ painter conflict!! They worked really hard to get the wallpaper down and that itself was worth every penny as it was labor intensive!! Mr Wolak also provided a complimentary cleaning service for the areas that work was completed, what a nice surprise and a great bonus. I would use this company again! Very impressive professional courtesy by the owner and communication was open between himself and his employees.

Mark gave me a detailed estimate and time frame for the work to me done, it was done on time and budget. Chris did a great job as did Eddie. They made sure the area was clean everyday when they left. Very professional and introduced themselves when they arrived. Eddie worked with me on some color changes and made some nice suggestions. Mark followed up on all work. I didn't use an Angie's List coupon but looking at the other reviews and how happy they are with the Angie's Deals I will be buying them from now on.

The project was started and completed as planned. The price was reasonable consistant with rhe Angie's special ($1499.00). It would have been grossly overpriced at the suposed $4000 value. There were no significant problems and the one worker provided was very responsive.

After we purchased the Big Deal on March 4th, we called and scheduled the project for April 9th. They called us back and had to reschedule for April 21st. Wolak hired sub-contractors to come in and perform the work, because their regular crew was unavailable. We had to call sub-contractor several times about scheduling, and he finally called back with details. On April 21st, the sub-contractor came to complete the project. They worked for 7.5 hours and the work was of high quality. They could not finish the job because of the columns on our home; they did not have rollers. They scheduled with us to come back this morning, April 28th. We have called many times this morning, with no response. The sub-contractor never mentioned to us that he would need to reschedule or that he would not be showing up. I do not like the feeling of being left hanging.

Wolak Interiors did an excellent job. They arrived when promised, painted the ceilings within the timeframe specified, and cleaned up behind themselves with no issues. I was very happy with the end result and would definitely hire them again.

We are very pleased with our new floor and the service we received from Wolak Interiors. They met us for an estimate and then started work that same week. The installer was very friendly and professional. Mr. Wolak stopped by periodically to follow up on the work being performed. Both easily answered any questions we had. I will definitely use Wolak Interiors again in the future and feel confident about referring them to other potential clients!

The job was well done and a good value. The company was responsive and readily scheduled the appointment. They were punctual and immediately began the job. They cleaned up afterword. They were, pleasant and very professional and responded to my inquiries regarding the scope of their services and other jobs they had completed. I would definitely consider them for other services.

I was a little skeptical, being afraid of getting what you pay for. Boy, was I wrong! Mark immediately scheduled my painting, and his crew arrived promptly on Friday morning. After introducing themselves, they set to work. Mark stopped by to make sure I was pleased with the service, and he stayed and supervised the painting. Not only did the painters finish in the timeframe, they paid particular attention to detail, and my living room looks wonderful! I will definitely use Mark and his services again!

Pretty straight forward. Two man crew came in on day one and removed the wallpaper and started on wall repairs. On day two they came in and finished teh repairs and put the first coat on the walls and celing. They took the extra step to paint the repair sports since those areas were going to need more paint. On day three they came back and put the final coat on the walls. Very happy with the result and they cleaned up pretty well.

I had never used this company before, but when an Angie's List Deal popped up, I decided to give them a try...so glad I did! Chris and Anthony came to replace 2 ceiling fans we had in the living room and screened-in porch. They were extremely courteous and removed the fans quickly. The install went just as smoothly with each person working in a different room to maximize time efficiency. One of the downrods was actually too low for our ceiling and Chris went as far as to cut the rod down and drill a new hole for the wires to make sure we were happy with the height of the fan. I was so pleased that they went the extra mile and were professional the whole time. Will definitely use in the future!

Mark and Chris were great. Chris competently installed two ceiling fans with remote controls. Everything went well, and Mark was followed up with me afterwards. I would use them again without hesitation.

The job took a total of about 8 hours to complete and the work looks great. Chris really did a great job with the tile. I really couldn't have done it my self. I am really happy with the work and both Mark and Chris were real professionals and gentlemen. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

On time as requested. Removed wall paper in dining room, foyer, hallway. Patched walls, caulked where needed. Painted ceiling, walls and trim. Work done quickly and professionally. Would use again. They are very talented painters.

Mark was extremely professional. He returned my call, he was punctual when he came for the estimate and arrived with his assistant for the job. The job was done efficiently, started at 9:00 am and was complete by 3:00 pm and was high quality. Mark and his assistant were polite and extremely helpful and pleasant. I would use this service again and recommend them to friends.
