Mark had Paul come out to put the laminate in. Mark did stop by to see what needed to be done and discuss the job with me. The floors look wonderful and the trim does as well. Paul even replaced a broken piece of trim for me in another part of the house that I asked him to do. He was quick and knowledgeable. I was very impressed and will hire Wolak Interiors to do more work in the future.

We had decided to cover the existing TV hole over the fireplace. Our handyman had cut the drywall to fit the hole but was not skilled enough to complete the repair. We contacted Wolak Interiors and they were able to come out to complete the repair within one weeks time. The workmanship was very good and it is now near impossible to see where the original hole was.

They did not show or call after 2 attempted appointments.

They did a very good job. It took longer than I expected, but I am very satisfied with the work

Great worker. Very helpful. A little bit hard to get ahold of in the begining.

No masking tape or drop cloths were ever used on this job, and the results are Green pain on white flooring and wood work.. An amateur job at a professional price. I would not recommend this company

We are in the middle of a frustrating and protracted kitchen remodel. Our new cabinets will arrive next week, and we needed the wallpaper removal and painting done NOW! We were scheduled for Mark to send "his best guy" (his words) last Wednesday, but then he moved the appointment to Friday. So we all re-arranged our schedules so we could be here. And the guy didn't show up at 8, as we had been told -- he finally showed up at about 8:40. By that time, we had cancelled the whole thing! I would recommend Mark, himself, because he is a good guy and does good work. NEVER let him send anyone else! Last January we used his services to do work in my son's new townhouse, and the guy he sent did mediocre work and was rude. And this guy couldn't be on time.

He said he would give me a quote in my email, and I haven't heard from him since.

This project as a long project, over two months of almost daily work. Overall I was very happy with the work and the worker's attention to detail. Wolak Interiors workmen are skilled and have a broad range of high quality skills to do just about everything I asked them to do. Their painters did an very good to excellent job overall. Like wise, their carpenter / tile layers were very good and I really enjoyed working with them. I would employ them again.

it took a couple days for a return call, then when he emailed the estimate I was a bit shocked. Very polite and courteous but I did not hire him for the job.

Before starting to paint, the painter covered up everything and extensively taped up the rooms to prevent any stains on the carpet, ceiling or dashboards. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely use them in the future.

We had a great experience. Mark was easy to deal with, his plaster guy did a beautiful job on our ceiling patch and texturig. The painter was meticulous and up to my husband's high standards. I felt comfortable having the workers in the houose. We would not hesitate to use them again.

I assume the project was over his budget to accomodate us. I have since gone with another contractor.

I probably won't be buying any deals like this again. There really isn't much of an incentive to complete a job. The job was done adequately.I had to wait several weeks for the appointment, and then I got a call on the day before the appointment saying he needed to reschedule. We had to wait for almost two more weeks before the job was done. My recommendation is you use Wolak, but get them to contract the entire job up front, and hold their feet to the fire on the start, and completion dates. I don't feel I got ripped off.

it took forever. the shower leaked into the kitchen downstairs. It was supposed to take 6 days it took 11 days.

He is a nice person and presents well and has good people skills. But his estimate was unprofessional since it was on notebook paper. He did not have a printer for the estimate. He is not a bad guy, he is just sloppy.

Mark showed up on time and was very thorough, going through each item on my remodel list and asking specific questions that I didn't even think about. He got an estimate to me 4 days later and it was dead on where I thought the estimate should be...and it was VERY thorough. We unfortunately lost the house due to structural issues, but will hire Mark when we need work on a new home.

They did excellent quality work. They were super nice people and very professional. They were able to re-create a custom railing. I was very pleased with their work.

Started on day requested. The installation was at a steady pace and was accomplished with precision and very professionally done. I was kept informed of progress daily and encountered no difficulty with the person doing the work, In fact I was/am impressed at how great a job was done. The bathroom was done on time and with no problems. i fully intend on using Wolak Enterprises for remodeling our master bathroom as well as other work. I would highly recommend Mark. I am very satisfied with the finished product

EXCELLENT - First Class Service and work!! After purchasing a deal from this site Mark Wolak promptly came out to survey the job and provide an estimate for length of time to complete the job, additional costs and approx. date to begin the work. First of all, finding the window of opportunity to have the work done due to the crazy wet weather was a daunting task for everyone, but Mark remained professional, courteous and worked diligently to fit us into the schedule when the weather would break. Secondly, the painters were punctual, professional, and friendly and talk about quality of workmanship... they applied two coats using brushes not rollers, they made sure they had perfect cut-ins and that the areas between the boards were well covered. There was Chris B on site during two days, Eddie for one day (+ touch up) and then there was Anthony working on site for all three days. We had most interaction with Anthony during this job and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. His attention for detail and touchup were spot on. We would absolutely highly recommend Anthony for other work but also both Chris and Eddie. With this being said it is obvious to us that Mark Wolak ensures he has quality staff working for him. Mark came by to check on the job a couple of times during the project and touched base with us regularly over the phone to ensure that I was completely satisfied with the staff and the work that was being completed. We HIGHLY recommend this Company and staff for work and will use them again for future projects that may arise. wo color

Good experience overall. Mark's cost was a little more than the estimate but he did a lot more work than we both originally thought was going to be needed. Even with the additional cost involved, I thought the price was more than fair. Definitely less than what any other contractor quoted me. The work took longer than originally planned but I'm glad that they took their time instead of rushing the job to make it in the original timeline. His crew always showed up on time and were unfailing polite and did their best to minimize the construction mess. I would recommend him and plan to use him again in the future.

Mr. Wolak came out to a home we recently purchased to provide an estimate for a very involved interior painting, some trim work, garage painting and garage floor epoxy treatment. The estimate was provided in a very timely manner and broken down room by room at our request. The home is 3,340 sq. feet and with the Angie's List discount, the cost estimate came out to $6050. The estimate does not include the paint, which took us by surprise, nor does it include all supplies. My wife and I had a bunch of questions and attempted to get them addressed via e-mail. We quoted the estimate, which was incorporated into the body of an e-mail and asked for a bunch of clarifications and explanations. She deals with contracts all the time at work and I deal with contractors some as a board member at a condo association for a rental property. It took nearly a week to get a reply for the e-mail and that was only after Mr. Wolak missed an appointment to meet with us at the property to hopefully address our concerns. He was very apologetic about missing the appointment. My schedule had been very busy those past few days and it also happened to be my son's 1 year birthday. This left a very bad impression on us and we were not prepared to have to deal with that sort of thing on such an important project for us. We chose to go with another painting contractor, even though we wound up paying nearly twice as much. We had to add a lot of carpentry work, demo and drywall patching from electrical and HVAC ducting work.

Wolak did a very good job. Got the job done on time and they came back out to fix a couple of minor items immediately after I called. I would definitely use them again.

I came across this company on one of those Big Deals offers, but I was not comfortable buying it without having the owner look at my job first. My bathroom is very small with an old insert fiberglass shower, old toilet and a vanity that was not my style. The owner Mark came to my house and looked at my ugly ugly bathroom in the master bedroom and we decided since my bathroom was so ugly he quoted me a price to remodel the whole bathroom and not just tiling the shower and the price was amazing for all the work they were going to have to do. Chris showed up to my house Monday morning and completely gutted the bathroom within 2 hours. It was amazing how fast it took. Chris was great to work with. If we ran into any design issues, he was ready to give suggestions that would make the bathroom look better and solve the issue. He showed up every day and cleaned up every night before he left. Mark would come by every other day to check on the job and make sure I was happy with the work. I was very impressed with this company?s professionalism. I have been burned in the past by shady ?so-called contractors? but this company made me feel like I was getting the best work done with no shortcuts. I will definitely recommend using this company again and I would also use them in the future if I have any more home improvements.
