I wouldn't recommend him to nobody. The plumbing job was actually for my daughter, who lives two blocks from me. She had a stopped up sink in her bathroom upstairs and the water was leaking from an outside faucet. He told me that he never received the order. So I called Angie's List. They gave me the order number. He asked me to email him. I emailed him the order number, the address, the telephone number and everything. He did not get back to my daughter until three days later. When he came in, he said, "Well, I'm not going to snake the pipe. I think we've got to have to remove the pipe." So my daughter told him, "No." She said, "Well, why don't you go outside and fix the faucet out there?" He said, "No. I don't do that. I'm the boss. I'll send a plumber out on the 27th of this month." She said, "Oh, no. This is not going to work." That's when I called Angie's List and they refunded my money and gave me Norfolk Plumbing and the job was done within an hour and a half. He had no customer relations at all, the way he spoke to me before I even gave him the address of my daughter. He was very negative about, "Well, I'm packed up. I don't do this. I don't go out until I get an order number." I said, "Well, I emailed you the order number and everything."

We met at a Home Depot to pick up the door and supplies. He cut the plywood that I had purchased previously and when he removed the rotting board, he noticed an infestation underneath. I was very glad that he took the time to point it out so that I could treat the area before replacing the board. The reason I gave a B for professionalism is that he talked on his phone a majority of the time while he was working. I mentioned my dismay because I didn't think he could work as efficiently, but he thought otherwise. The door installation went well and he finished in the allotted 4 hours. I was satisfied with the quality of his work.

It was fine. They came out about three weeks after the purchase. No additional costs. They could have been a little straighter with the tile but it still came out okay. I would tell others to really watch them putting in the tile and be very specific on how you want the tile put in. The quality is where I had most of the problem with it.

The work was done by Paul Basiak who, although appeared young, was outstanding in his commitment and attention to detail. Some tiles in our Mastr Bath shower had lost their glazing and were turning black and the grout was impossible to clean as it continued to turn black with mold. Paul found that none of the bathroom tiles had ever been sealed after first construction 6 yrs ago and water had seeped under the grout over time and was under the grout all around the floor and unable to evaporate. He cleaned out the areas effected, dryed those areas and caulked with special caulking, placed special water resistant covering over that area and then came back and replaced all tile and grouted all areas finishing up with placing sealant on all bathroom grout both in and out of the shower. His workmanship and neatness was a breadth of fresh air and we would have no problem referring him to anyone. It is noted on his card that he does other work and we would certainly keep him in the forefront of our minds if the need ever arises in those areas of need. Even though the Provider did not do the actual work he had a contractor working for him who was outstanding and gave us a good feeling about contacting the Provider for work required in the future.

It took about three weeks to get on the schedule but the water damaged drywall was completely replaced, swirl finished and painted to match the remaining garage in two day. Very efficient and the best quality. Highly recommended. AAA+++!!!

From the beginning Mark was very polite and I could tell that my business was important to him. He came over the next day and gave me an estimate of the cost of the job. It took no time at all for ?him and his crew to start on my home. Everything went very smooth and they were always clean and on a timely manner. Paul and Jacek worked in such a ?great manner that i knew i was going to be happy with the end result. Paul gave me some great ideas on some of the choices i had with the kitchen and bathroom and i was very impressed with the knowledge and skill of the crew. I could not have imagined a better outcome of the remodel. No mess was ever left behind and as a mother of two small children i highly appreciated that i did not have to worry about having to clean up after them. The project took over 5 weeks and was definitely worth the wait! I would recommend these guys any day to anyone looking for a contractor who will do an amazing job.

The whole job went very well. I have used Wolak Interiors in the past and have been very pleased both times. This time, the repair needed in my house was a little messy and complicated. I was very happy with the final results. It looks very good, and the man who did the work was professional, pleasant and responsive to the requests I made related to this work. He also worked at a good speed and cleaned everything up before he left.

I've had Mark and his crew over twice now. They are hard working, friendly, and helpful and clean up after themselves. I plan on using them again, and recommend them. The guys went above and beyond the letter of the agreement to make everything look nice. When I wanted to make a change from our earlier agreement, Mark got back to me promptly with a reasonable price for the extra work.

Mark Wollak called Monday, the day after I purchased a Big Deal for plumbing. He said he would check with Hus plumber and call me back to set a date. He called the next day but missed me. We missed each other a few times but eventually set up an appointment for Friday or Saturday if necessary. His plumber, Chris, called Friday and let me know he was really booked up and asked if 2:00 on Saturday would work. They knee that I'm a teacher and being home for this service call would be difficult, so I felt they were going beyond the call by fitting me in on a weekend. Chris was quick, efficient and polite. He explained that I didn't have a clog, as I thought. One toilet had a wax ring recently installed incorrectly and the flange was partially blocking the drain opening. This was the original reason for my call and only took him about 30 minutes to correct. He then asked if there was anything else hr could do for me, so I told him I thought there was a problem with the other toilet. He discovered that the "c*** and float" system was missing a part that was causing water to spray against the lid and out the backside of the tank. I couldn't see this, but could see stain around the base of the toilet. Chris replaced the "c*** and float" with a new low-flow system and showed me how to adjust the water level in the tank. I was very happy with the outcome of this service call and plan to use Walk Interiors Iagain in the near future.

The date I entered is approximate as it has been so long now that I do not remember when this transaction took place. I paid $125.00 for service. He came out stated he would call me to set up a time to fix my garage and never did call back. I wasted $125.00. I did write a review on Angie's list soon after the services were paid for and then him not showing up. Buyer be warned!

I was very happy with his level of professionalism, including making an appointment easily, showing up when he said he would, diagnosing the problem, and referring me to someone who was then able to come fix the problem the next day for a very good price. I would certainly make Mark my first call on any future interior renovation projects!

He did a great job. Was friendly, worked hard, and did exactly what he said he would do. I am about to contact him for more work. I guess that is the best recommendation I can give.

I hired Wolak Interior for the first time about 3 years ago to install laminate floors in my house. I'd interview 2 other companies at that time and Wolak Interior was by far the most compatible, satisfying and trustworthy. The owner was very knowledgeable, the most responsive to my questions and gave me a lot of advice. I was under a timeline to have flooring installed in a short period of time and they were very easy to work with and also were very helpful with suggestions on what would work best. The owner as well as the workers stayed focus on the job, professional and clean up at the end of each day. I was so impress with this company that I?ve hired them again this year when I needed someone for wood repair at the front porch and for exterior and interior painting. They showed up on time, were quick, very nice and did an outstanding job. You could tell they really cared about doing a professional job which is the key ingredient and so hard to find these days. If I need any future work in their line of business they will definitely have a repeat customer. I would highly recommend this company and crew for the expert job they completed.

Communication was excellent. Received email followed by a quick phone call. Someone came out to inspect the 3 small area's of wood rot that I had. Two were outdoors and one indoors. After taking a few measurements and pictures, we agreed on a scheduled date and time for the work. The worker showed up on the agreed time and date, and did excellent work. I would not hesitate to call again for any future work repairs. I also talked with them and they do complete bathroom and kitchen remodels as well. While I personally cannot speak to the quality of that type of work, I would not hesitate to call them for based on my experience with the work they have done for me so far.

The storm door took nearly 3 hours to put on and it's still not on right. The frame was fine. Chris came back later to do my folding doors on my towel closet, they needed shortening as carpet is thick, chris did it and put them back up problem is my son barely touch one the other night and it fell out on top of him , not sure how that happens when it's on rails? They haven't responded to me at all. I'm upset as I paid him for two other projects that never went right I gave him benefit of the doubt as he's a nice guy and normally willing to fix it but this is to much. The paint was never fixed as promised and after the sloppy bathroom remodel ( I still have area behind toilet that was never caulked/sealed) it's disappointing, they had to come back after I told them there was nothing under my tub? It kept creaking and could've cracked causing me a flood, they told me they fixed it, but its still creaking and left me with a messed up wall that was painted with a different sheen (this was after putting a hole through my wall from the bathroom job). The bathroom wasn't even painted properly it looks like my kids did it. The bathroom was nearly $5000 and paint job was $900 none of it was done properly/professionally. Especially the paint I left it so long to review as mark said they would fix it and it's taken a year and nothing. I have sent several emails asking to fix my tub and Mark keeps stating he will get to it and its been MONTHS, if the tub cracks my house will flood and it will end up being a court case.

Chris, the carpenter, was professional, polite, and proficient. The task was done on time and he cleaned up afterwards.

A little challenging trying to catch up with him however once scheduled was fine. My disappointment was in the fact that contractor and I agreed on hours and fee and after the fact he tried to charge us for 3 additional hours.

The service worked out fine. As I remember it, it was slow getting in-touch with them, but once I finally was able to get them, it was fine. The only thing I dislike is that it took me about a week or two to finally get a call back from them. The guy that came out and did the work was nice and did a fine job. My interaction with them was fine once I was able to get them. They did it all for the $129 Big Deal cost. I would most likely use them again in the future.

We met with Mark Wolak after seeing his Angie's List reviews. During the initial interview and throughout the entire process he was very professional and polite. And, all of his employees (Chris, Paul, Ricardo, and Joshua) exhibited a similar politeness. My wife and college age daughter felt safe around all of them. It is my opinion that Mark has an excellent work ethic and is trustworthy. Specifics: - The project completed in budget and a few days early. NOTE: We aided the process by having all purchase items available before the project started so that it didn't matter what portion of the project or room they wanted to work on. - Communication with Mark was through his cell and he was quick to respond each time. - We knew each day what time work would start and which workers would be in attendance. They were always on time. Due to our schedule, work often didn't start until mid-morning and carried on until dinnertime. - Debris inside was cleaned as they progressed, cleaned at the end of each day, and we allowed a pile in the drive that they removed about every two days with runs to the dump rather than renting a dumpster. They also placed plastic sheeting from floor to ceiling between the work zones and remaining house and this kept dust levels way down. - Workers smoked, including vapors, outside only. - Not once did we hear anything that resembled foul language. Again, all were very polite. - Mark, Chris, and Paul provided experienced advice to overcome some issues and to resolve some of our requests. In the end the decisions were always ours to make and all work was done to code. - The attention to detail was a refreshing thing to see. Each worker exhibited personal pride in their craft. - For the new electrical work at the panel, Mark recommended an electrician (Casey) who was also polite. - Mark came by the project each day and spoke with us in person. On some days he provided skill work as well. As you can tell we had a very positive experience with this project and highly recommend Wolak Interiors LLC.
