Work started on April 23 as scheduled; however, the demolition of the existing tiles in the master bath took longer than expected but they didn?t need to replace the existing boards and there was no quarter round trim to remove. On April 24 a water pipe was broken when the toilet in the master bath was removed. This caused part of the carpet in the FROG to get soaked and some leaking on the ceiling in the pantry/laundry room below. I was told that the leak was repaired but on the morning of April 27, I noticed water leaking from the ceiling in the pantry. We were concerned. I called Mike (the owner) right away to inform him of the problem. I had to leave a message but he called back quickly. He asked if Chris had arrived yet and I told him that Chris was running late. Mike apologized for the damage. He made no excuses and said he would take care of the ceiling. I had to leave and when Chris still had not arrived, my husband called Mike back, rightfully agitated. Chris arrived about an hour and a half late. Apparently the pipe was broken in two places but Chris didn?t realize that and only repaired one section of the pipe. The other part of the damaged pipe had been leaking since April 24 and now the ceiling in the pantry was completely saturated. Note: Chris never arrived before 9am the entire time he worked for us, even though he told us that he would arrive at 8:30. Chris repaired the water leak that damaged the ceiling in our pantry. The ceiling was replaced on Monday, April 28 by Josh, he did a great job. The damage to the pipe was an accident. We were satisfied with how Mike resolved the situation.

We used one of the Angie's List 3 hour Deals and hired Wolak Interiors to fix the ceiling. They set up an appointment promptly, came out on time (everyone gets a bit lost coming out here in the country) and fixed the crack very carefully, matching the "swirl" pattern of the existing ceiling beautifully. Now that the ceiling has been repainted, you would not know the damage occurred. While he was here, the plasterer took care of a couple of "dings" in plaster walls elsewhere in the house, which was great. I would recommend Wolak interiors to anyone needed plaster repairs! These Angie's List Deals are fantastic!

I contacted Mark after I found a great deal on Angie's List ($299 for 8 hours of contractor work). So, I called him to make sure it covered the project I had in mind: 1/2 bath in the garage to be completed before memorial day weekend. Mark was responsive during this time, calling me back and responding to me via text. He shared with me that the deal would cover that project. After Mark visited our home, he shared with my husband that his electrician and plumber would have to review the project to make sure it could be done since we were adding a 1/2 bath in the garage. So, after about a week of waiting, we contacted Mark to let him know we had not heard from the plumber and electrician, so Mark contacted them and they contacted us the same day. When the plumber finally came out to visit our home after two no-shows, he shared with us that the entire project would cost about $1,100 and could be done within three visits. The electrician was a no-show. My husband asked the plumber for a cost breakout (labor and materials) and how it fit within the deal on Angie's List. The plumber had no idea what we were talking about regarding the deal on Angie's List. The plumber also never provided us the cost breakout and would not provide the contract before hand so we could review it before signing it. We contacted Mark and shared the information from the plumber and that's when we were told that the plumbing alone would be $1,100 then Mark would have to come in to frame the bathroom, install drywall, tiles, etc. Mark provided us a cost breakout (over $1,700) but did not mention the deal on Angie's List. My husband sent a list of questions to Mark but all of a sudden, they are unable to connect. Mark does not want to answer the questions via e-mail, and my husband is at work whenever Mark calls and Mark is unavailable in the evenings. We feel that because they knew of our short timeframe, they were trying to take advantage of us. We are now one week away from our event with no 1/2 bath and plenty of time wasted with this company. We have to figure out an alternative for all our arriving guests. Really disappointing!!!

I was very pleased with the work. Professional and clean. I have been on a budget when doing my renovations and Mr Wolak worked with me in that regard as well as recommended affordable places to purchase materials. Even though Mark is a very busy contractor he found time for me to discuss my project in person and over the phone. I appreciated that a lot as I had many questions. I will recommend Wolak Interiors to my friends and use them in them future. Thanks

Were scheduled for Tuesday 4/15 but had to bump to Wednesday 4/16 due to his other jobs getting longer than expected. No problem for us. We were flexible.

I never write reviews, but I had such a great experience that I just had to share my experience. I have two bathrooms completely renovated, so as you can imagine, I was expecting a nightmare of some kind. To my surprise, Wolak Interiors was a complete delight! They were considerate of my time, surprisingly clean and tidy, prompt, and, most importantly, courteous and professional. The first day that they were to begin, they showed up right on time as promised, even at 8:00 AM! As most people would imagine, I was expecting aftermath of dust, debris, and disaster throughout the renovation, but the contrary was actually the case; they left everything probably cleaner than when they started their work. The cleanliness of my home was as much a priority to them as it was to me, which was a refreshing and pleasant surprise. They completed their work in the promised time, didn't cut corners or compromise details, and overall I was very pleased with the completed work. I would recommend Wolak to any of my close friends or family.

We recently used Wolak Interiors LLC to remodel the kitchen, bathroom and a large portion of the living area in our new condo and have been delighted with the both the process and the results. I have worked with a number of other contractors in the past and know when I'm working with someone who knows their business and takes genuine pride in the quality of the work they're doing- and that certainly describes Mark Wolak and his crew. Although I was pretty sure I wanted to use Wolak Interiors LLC based on a friend's recommendation, I wanted to get bids from other renovation contractors for our remodel just to be thorough. When compared with the other bids, I was very impressed with Wolak's pricing and the level of detail outlined in his bid. Both our kitchen and bathroom look amazing, and both are so much more functional than they were before. We were absolutely delighted that the remodel stayed on schedule and within our budget. The remodel took the demolition of the kitchen and bathroom down to the studs and put it all back together again. Mark helped source all of the new fixtures and finishes through his vendors for the entire remodel which can be a handful if you haven't done it before. He provided us with numerous sources for our kitchen cabinetry also. All the work performed throughout the remodel is of the highest standard and we enjoyed working with Mark and all of his installers. I also appreciated how hard they all worked towards keeping the remodel on schedule and clean. Remodeling, or any kind of renovation, can be very stressful- but having Wolak Interiors LLC as our contractor really helped alleviate the majority of our concerns and I will definitely be calling him for any future renovation needs we may have.

For the price very good, no problems.

I got a refund for this, as the fine print didn't say that they didn't come to my area. When I spoke to the company, they said they'd still do the job and to send them the photos of the job. Once I did, I never heard back from them.

Everything went well and the results are beautiful. The company was helpful in providing great options and suggestions for our project. We couldn't be happier with the results. The workers were very clean and always left the house in great condition. I highly recommend them. They were very professional and on time for all work that was done.

Mr. Wolak has given me an estimate and looked at what I want done. He is supposed to call me back next week to let me know when he could come do the work. He is really easy to communicate with. I am looking forward to having the service being completed. They even came early to our appointment.

Everything turned out well. The scheduling was easy, they showed on time, and they did a good job with the painting. Ultimately, we had no issues with the work.

Mark called to set up the appointment and came for an appraisal. He was on time and very professional. We decided on a work date and were good to go. Val (the carpenter) was WONDERFUL!!! on time, super polite, professional and very nice to talk to. He did a great job. I will definitley use them again and HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!!

We decided to not use this companies services. We were confused of why the contract did not include the paint cost or who was to pick it up? At least we thought it would mention about the paint itself like what company did we want to use? Would not have been concerned but the contract stated the costs of the job were listed as labor and some items like tape, caulk etc., which were listed as $45. I did ask for a pricing of the paint but on the resent email actually listed the same as the original contract. Also some of the comments from other customers had issues with the worker running out of time for an applied contract and we did not understand what that was all about? The owner was pleasant and was on time for our meet and answered questions that i had but still needed more listed in the preposed contract, it appeared to have hidden costs, that is why I requested a review of what was sent.

It went very well, he was in and out in less than an hour and fifteen minutes. He cleaned up after himself. But he did leave a dryer which I am holding for him.

The job was done on time and with a lot of professional advise regarding tile choice, pattern, color, trims & finishing touches. Overall the job was well done.

It was fine. They did a fine job. They came in and they were very neat. They got the wallpaper off and it was good. I wasn't charged anything extra aside from the big deal I have purchased.

Eddie, the painter was on time. He was very polite and did an excellent job. Let us know what was going on. He was done in less than 8 hours. Cleaned up after himself.

He brought in a number of workers including electrician, plumber and the job was complete within 3 weeks. This was a 90% renovation and remodel of our condo.

It was fine. They are done and it did not take a lot of time.

Arrived on time. Covered countertops in kitchen and layed tarp on floor. Took down a border that was around the kitchen wall. After the kitchen was painted, the bathroom was painted. Both areas were left clean. I was very satisfied with the outcome of the kitchen and bathroom. Wolak Interiors was very courteous and professional.

Mark Wolak came to the property, evaluated the work and stated it was to cold to do exterior work at that time. Mr. Wolak said he would return when the weather was warmer. We attempted to contact each other but that was not successful so the work was not done. I recently contacted Mr. Wolak via e-mail requesting a refund. He promptly responded was very kind and said that I would need to contact Angie's List to request a refund because the work was not done and your company had collected and maintained possession of my money.

It went well. I got them on coupon so it was a very good price. Only because I don't live in Virginia I will not use them again but I would recommend them to others and would use them if I do live in the area.
