Description of Work: Rob Wertz came out to unclog my kitchen sink a few days before Easter. I called in the morning and left him a voice mail, and within the hour he called me back to schedule an appointment for later that same day. He was prompt, professional and really fair with his pricing. He snaked the drain about 75 feet, and charged us $120. We have also used Wertz Plumbing and Repair to install an electric hybrid water heater, as well as replace an old bathroom shower fixture that was leaking.

Description of Work: We have used Wertz Plumbing on several occasions and have always been extremely satisfied with pricing and workmanship. Our first experience with Wertz Plumbing was in November of 2010 when we purchased a hybrid electric water heater and needed a professional installation. We called and Rob Wertz came out for an estimate, and he was substantially lower than 2 other plumbing companies. Wertz had been referred to us, so when we received such a reasonable estimate, we used his company for the hybrid electric water heater install. Rob Wertz called before appointment to say he was on his way, he arrived punctually, did a very neat install, hauled away and disposed of the old tank. We were very happy with his work. He even called about a week or so later to check and see if we were happy with this water heater-as it's not the typical water heater that most people use. Of course when it was time for our next plumbing project, we called Rob Wertz again! In March 2011, we needed old shower controls (hot/cold) removed and replaced because they were leaking. Our home was built in 1958, and the shower tiles had been updated and replaced, but the separate hot/cold controls were original and needed replacing. Rob removed the old controls & hardware, put in new hardware and shower head, and not one of the tiles were damaged in the process. When he removed the original hot/cold fixtures, he replaced it with a metal plate that concealed the two holes, and then mounted a one piece controller on the plate. It was such an improvement to the shower-both cosmetic and function wise. Just recently, the plate shifted a tiny bit, so we called Rob and he immediately came back to fix it, free of charge-even though it was out of warranty. His workmanship is top notch, but if there is a problem, he stands behind his work. That is a rare find in this day and age.

Description of Work: Installed new toilet in downstairs bathroom.

Description of Work: Repiped entire house (quest/poly pipes burst). Installed new tub, shower, sink, faucet, garbage disposal. Previously fixed break under slab in garage and replaced offset flange for toilet in bath (2008).

Description of Work: They checked the heating system in preparation for winter. They replaced undersized ducts leading to one bedroom and replaced with the correct size duct. They also added another vent/damper in the bedroom, and added another duct and damper to guest room, which was insufficiently supplied with one duct and damper.

Description of Work: This company has done many different projects for us from repairing leaking faucets and pipes to A/C repairs to fixing broken drainage lines.
