Work was started and completed as scheduled. The initial placement of the drain basin was not as desired but that was corrected on the spot. Questions & concerns were addressed very quickly.

We were very happy with our experience with Virginia Foundation Solutions. All were professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. We were furnished photos to validate the suggested repairs and improvements which helped us make the decisions needed to correct our foundation and crawl space problems. Once the work was completed, all of the issues with doors, cracks in walls and even "squeaking floors" were corrected. Their prices are reasonable and well worth it to protect your home.

I HIGHLY recommend Virginia Foundation Solutions.They explained in details, that we could understand, exactly what we would need and how it would be accomplished. They even explained why we wouldn't need more (or less) work than they were recommending. Detailed prior to the work what we would need to do as well in preparation. (which was very little) Their communications are stellar.From start to finish with the delivery of the warranty packet. They made sure several times that we knew we could call at any time during the process if we had any concerns or questions of any kind. We dealt mainly with Andy, Josh and Danny. The work was completed ahead of schedule and was inspected regularly by the production manager, Josh throughout the process. We found it very easy to work with everyone as they were very friendly and accommodating, and we were comfortable with everything and everyone we had contact with. They are true to their word and very trustworthy Again, I am so glad we chose this company to do our work and highly recommend them. Very happy, and satisfied with the whole process from the original assessment to the county inspection. We had another contractor installed a new barrier in our crawl space and I was concerned how it would look at the end. The guys cut it off neatly installed the piers cover the holes and stretched back in place. They where on time and answered all my questions. The finance was done on the spot and easy process. They understand your house is one of your major investment if not the biggest one, and they took care of it as if it was their own house

We had received an estimate >$7,000 for work in our crawlspace. Terry Garmon, an inspector from Virginia Foundation Solutions, looked over our house and crawlspace and adviced that we did not need any work. Very professional. Very honest.

Great. Danny Farris came to the house when we requested, inspected the crawl and then spent the time to explain exactly what his company did, how long it would take and the cost. The process took 3 days, the crew was professional, cleaned up everything and caused no inconvenience. We had looked at 4 companies and VFS was the best value for what we needed to have done. We are thrilled to no longer have to worry about the moisture problems underneath the house including wet supports, soggy insulation and critters! Included was a de-humidifier. The work done by VFS includes a 25 year warranty .

This was follow-on work from a January 2013 project when the main crawl space was encapsulated, dehumidifier, and sump pump installed; and laundry room floor reinforced. This original work was to correct three problems: laundry room floor not reinforced enough for washer, mold smell, and rats getting under the house. The rats were getting in both crawl spaces this time. They did a very good job and arrived when they said. The first phase was to replace a sump pump that they had installed less than 3 years before. The pump had a 3-yr warranty but only one year on labor. Charge was about $400 which was very high. The second phase is as describe above. Took 3 men less than a day and a half. Had to add on over $400 to the original quote for a new crawl space door. Thought that the rate was very high. On the positive side, they did a good job, cleaned up well. One of the three men was the supervisor/worker and helped with the other extras noted above.

Everything went great! Ted, Tiger, Daniel, et al. showed up as scheduled, completed the work on-time, and thoroughly cleaned-up when the job was completed. Would highly recommend.

Our condominium building on the Oceanfront in Virginia Beach had chronic standing water from flooding and high ground water. It was unlevel with low pockets holding water, and decades of construction debris left inside. Virginia Foundation Solutions cleared out all the debris, graded the soil and installed perimeter trenches and sump pumps. Their work was impeccable and exceeded our expectations in every aspect. They showed up as scheduled, with an experienced, attentive crew who worked a full day, every day, for 3 weeks. Every employee and contractor associated with the project was polite, responsive, and extremely qualified. Every detail was accounted for in the highest of quality. There were no cutting corners, only consistent, earnest and knowledge in everything that was being executed. Communication and responsiveness was superb and the quality of work bar none. We were so impressed with the standard of work they conducted that we sought out their skills for a related project associated with sealing off all the open areas under the balconies that allowed cold air under the building, and insulating our pipes to prevent freezing. This had been bid out to several contractors, but VFS?s implementation of this outshined the other contractor?s approach. Their craftsmanship in this related custom carpentry work again dazzled us. We have such trust and appreciation for Virginia Foundation Solutions that we could not give a higher recommendation. We work with many construction entities in the operation and maintenance of our building and this company has put themselves at the top of our list for quality, value, customer service and responsiveness. They showed up when promised, worked diligently and kept job site clean. Kept us informed as to the status daily. The job stayed on budget and was more than $5,000 under the quote from another foundation repair company. Job was finished ahead of promised schedule. I would use them again.

We were very satisfied with the services performed by Ted and his team a VPF. They overcame a few issues early in the work period and provided an excellent product at a fair price. Here's the details of the service: - Removed all crawl space insulation and graded the foundation flooring. - Jacked the house and replaced several beams and joists that had significant water damage. - Installed foam insulation around the perimeter of the crawl space. - Closed off all exterior vents and insulated the vents - Installed new, thick plastic flooring sheathing up to 2 feet height - Re-mortared areas in the brick that had deteriorated All in all, we were happy with the work performed. The crawl space is immaculate!! Really amazing how clean and usable the space is now. We decided not to install a de-humidifier, but will be closely monitoring the humidity next summer and may have to install one next year, if things become too humid in the space. We did have a few issues communicating with the team, since english was their second language and they did manage to crack our countertop during one of the jacking events. But, they compensated us for the countertop repair and Ted was on-scene when things became challenging. I would definitely hire VPF again. Thanks!!

Had some serious foundation settling in my home with corresponding cracks in the brick skirt around my crawlspace. Solicited estimates from 3 contractors in the area including Virginia Foundation Solutions (VFS). VFS rep came out and analyzed my problem methodically. The VFS estimate focused on my problem and correcting it. He then explained the particulars of how they would stabilize my foundation, what the costs were and how long it would take. The VFS crew showed up on schedule, completed the work on time and at the agreed upon cost. They left the worksite as clean as they found it and hauled all the debris away as promised. The crew was hardworking, pleasant, professional, and diligent. The mason in particular did a great job identifying a rotted band board near where the porch push piers were installed. He also did a phenomenal job rebuilding the porch and repairing all the cracks in my brick skirt. Calls to the company and the owner were always answered or returned within minutes. Overall, hiring VFS was a great choice and pleasant experience and am very happy with the results!

I decided to encapsulate the crawl space of my home and received quotes from several contractors. Some were higher or lower than the one submitted by Virginia Foundation Solution Inc. I choose VFS as I felt that the finished product would be better and the sales people were more forthright in answering my questions and concerns. Since the installation, I have been very pleased in both the way they handled the work and their follow up. Danny came, gave estimate, we signed a contract and scheduled work to begin. On agreed date he was here with workers and material and job was completed to my satisfaction.

Very well, quick response, finished job in two days on time and at quoted price. may have them do additional work on another problem. i recommend them very highly.

Dan Harris is very professional, knowledgeable, patient , helpful . He has the qualities of a Great Contractor, We will hire him again and will highly recommend to anyone. I would like to mention also that his staff, starting with the office manager are also wonderful. They remind you of all the appointments and update you with the work progress.

The engineering consultant, he seemed to know what needed to be done. He took me to other locations where they had done their work, so I could see the quality of the work. He made sure the people doing the work, he was a very on top, very hands on manager.

Virginia Fondation Solutions Inc. claimed that we needed $34,500 in foundation repairs. I hired a consulting licensened structural engineer to verify that the foundation repairs were needed. The engineer provided a letter stating the $34,500 in foundation repair were not needed.

They are a new company in Virginia. Our experience with them was excellent. We had a problem with our foundation and they were very thorough in fixing it and correcting all the issues that we had.

Crew was always on time; respectful of property, people, and pet; neat (never any construction trash in yard); wasted no time on the job.

Over the years the foundation of our house had settled significantly in multiple locations, causing doors to not close properly and cracks in the first story brick facade, among other things. The VFS work proposal was complete and included not only the foundation work that was required but also the brick work that was needed, which other proposals had not included. The work crew was very professional, polite and friendly. They obviously knew their jobs and went about them very efficiently. Mr. Farris, the owner, checked in on them regularly to answer questions and provide direction. When the job was finished they went over and above what we expected during clean-up, even relocating some shrubs and bringing in some mulch.
