Terrible. They showed up quickly but it went downhill from there. This provided told me I need the coil cleaned ($150), have their equipment hooked up to determine if it needed refrigerant (r-22) which would cost $450, and to replace three small small fittings that are similar to your air pressure valve on your tire ($120). That is after paying the $50 diagnostic fee! They could not tell me if it even needed the refregerant after performing the diagnostic? Why pay for the diagnostic then? Regardless, I was under pressure to fix the unit as it was the weekend and after all taxes and fee's, they wanted $950! I asked to have just the r-22 topped off the unit but they refused and said it would cost $450 to hook up their equipment to determine this. I declined and just had them clean the coil. So, I paid $200 total (coil cleaning and diagnostic), and the unit did not work a day later. I had another company (Smiley's AC) come on Monday morning to evaluate the issue as not only do they have an A rating here, they were reccomending after telling a friend about my first experience of an attempted gouging by One Hour AC. The owner himself came, informed me I got ripped off by paying One Hour AC the $150 for coil cleaning as should only be around $50 and that the unit only need some r-22, for which he did for a cost of $70/pound (the going rate). AC unit has been great now after having this other company handle for $250 when One Hour AC tried to rape me for close to One Thousand Dollars. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, they will gouge you! Go after the A rating companies on this site. I called and spoke to manager Eric at One Hour about my experience. He did not care at all and blew me off. He said people pay $120 all day long for the simple end caps that cost $1 each at Lowes. This company is not managed by people who care about providing service at a reasonable rate, they are just after the $$ and will take advantage of you.
