Village Inn

We (me, my son, and my mom) used to visit Village Inn a couple times a month. As we noticed service and food quality was going down, our visits lessened. After last night's miserable experience, we are done. We sent back two ice- cold and congealed entrees and were told by "Trish" that we would be comped for them, yet my mother was charged for FOUR entrees and then TWO were subtracted. NOT COMPED. We wound up waiting for 40 additional minutes. AND the food was abysmal. My son's medium burger was served red, bloody and dripping, but he was hungry and ate it anyway. The rest of the food was just plain bad: Bland yet salty and obviously microwaved. Sides were missing. "We don't give refunds.", said "Stan", who claimed to be a manager. He called my mother after she had already talked to "Dave" who had agreed to send her a check. Dave had been rude, but Stan topped him by faulting my mother for expecting comped food and for paying the bill without question. When she explained that she was tired, and somewhat " foggy" from chemotherapy, Stan was unmoved. He would only agree to give her a gift card for the price of two entrees, but not for the tax. Even though ALL of this was their fault. He behaved like a pompous a** and then topped it off by telling her "Have a Blessed Day." So long Village Inn. You are overpriced, obnoxious, and the food is just plain bad.
