The provider came out and treated multiple times until the infestation was gone. It has been 6 months since the last sighting. Great job by the contractor.

They did a good job, so far I am very happy with the service and the office staff is friendly as well.

The first year was fine. They came out each quarter and did the normal maintenance. The 2nd year, when rats entered our subdivision (which I understand happens everywhere), they were unable to get rid of them. I set traps myself and killed 3, my dog killed 2, and they killed 2. They told me I needed to replace all the poly in my crawl space. My house is only 2 years old! This was going to be quite expensive. They never really went under the house and looked around to see where the rats were coming in, they only placed traps by the crawl space door. I had to keep calling them to have them come out and check for activity. What they did, I could have done and actually did. Needless to say, I cancelled my contract and got a new pest control company who has gone under my crawl space, found where the rats are coming in, placed good traps, and told me not to replace my poly until we were sure the rats were gone, and then, only replace the parts that were needed, not the whole thing.

While we really appreciated their attentiveness and service, the ultimate effectiveness of their treatment left something to be desired. But yes, ants are a tough problem. Anyway, will likely go with these guys again; other than the ant ineffectiveness, their other treatments seem effective.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was very good. We did not pay anything extra. They have a quick turn around time.

I purchased a "big deal" so I received a really good price. The all natural spray that they used did not work for what I had. I'm not sure if my ant problem was really bad, or what, but it seemed to attract them when I really wanted the opposite to happen. The company was respectful, clean and organized and punctual.

I was very pleased with Universal Pests. They punctual and very polite. They seemed very kniowledgable and recommended certain things that would help to prevent pests.

Received a telephone call the morning of the appointment to cancel it. They left a voice mail on our phone. When I called and asked them to issue a credit to me for what I paid, they informed me that I had to be the one to call Angie's List to do this. Then the manager or supervisor, Chuck, told me to "have a nice day" in a sarcastic manner and hung up on me. They are neither reliable nor professional. I want my money back and want to cancel my Angie's List membership: I think many service providers, because of the low rates they offer in "Big Deals," treat the buyers as second-class consumers.

The quote they gave me was above what they have online. They gave us no information relative to what it would cost for an annual treatment. I had printed a coupon off of Angie's List and we told them about it and they made no acknowledgment and did not agree that they would not take the coupon.

We purchased a big deal, and they are doing a lovely job. They are professional and cordial, and they book regular appointments for coming out. I like that they call and schedule the appointments because I would never remember to, unless there was something bothering me. I am using them, and will continue using them, if I didn't like them, I would tell them to stop coming to my house.

Again, I appreciate the phone calls to schedule my service instead of them taking my money and waiting for me to ring them.

It did not go well. I didn't get along well with the service rep. He wouldn't just do a termite treatment. He wanted me to empty my garage so he could do a more extensive treatment. I said I couldn't do it. There was a lot of stuff in the garage and I was not at a time that I could do anything about it. I may have raised my voice. I believe he raised his voice. I called Angies list the next day and asked for a refund.

My experience went very well. They were very friendly and professional. The pricing is reasonable. I would recommend this company to others.

It turned out good. They had already done an inspection for my house before we bought it, plus the big deal, which is why we went with them. They were really good. A couple of weeks ago we had seen a couple of bugs in the house, so we called them. They came back out and resprayed. We got $100 off through Angie's List. If they gave us a good deal on the pest control we would use them again.

The company receptionist was very pleasant and helpful when I called about getting a refund due to moving out of state.

It was very good. Now I've got a yearly contract. I've got a standard service with them now. I'm very happy with those people. He found one section that had a problem with termites so we fixed that and they came back and re-sprayed with no extra charge.

It was good. It doesn't really stand out, I just purchased it because of the $249 price. The folks who had come to the house had been professional. My big concern was that I wanted a company that would do the annual contract even though I have condition with my crawl space because a lot of companies give you a hard time about that. We have left our wood exposed for that very reason and one thing that bothered me at first was that they put it under contract no problem. This has been over a year because a guy came back out then to do the annual check again to renew the warranty and when he came out the second time he said "oh, I'm surprised they put this under contract because you have a conditioned crawlspace." They didn't drop me but at the same time I was like "well it wasn't a problem when they put me under contract so why would it be a problem now?" That's my only negative about them but they haven't had to do anything except treat for regular pests. They haven't indicated that they've seen any termites. They had to come in between services a couple of times but they don't charge me when they come back in between so I like that.

I requested a refund for this Big Deal, because the company did not contact me in the time stated.

The young man was very prompt and polite. He kept us informed and explained what he was doing as he went through the house.

All went well and no subsequent problems. The technician was informative and helpful. Checked under house for termites also. Recommended an annual service contract which I declined. My problem was minor and did not feel need for contract. This was a Big Deal transaction which I thought worth the money.

The services were fine and I have been using them for two Big Deals.

The service is good; but I don't like "additional" annual service contract plan connect to the deal on Angie's List.. It's always not a good feeling if you get forced to sign an annual contract.

They will have also set bait for tree rats . They do their job and do it well. The price is very reasonable compared to others in the area. The crew is always knowledgeable, arrive on time, and they know what they are doing.
