It was easy to schedule the work, and the technician was right on time. He was a polite man and did a thorough job. He also listened to our issues and addressed those issues specifically in addition to spraying the perimeter inside and outside. We appreciate his good work.

I ordered the 1 year service through Angie's list. Universal Pest control has been very professional to deal with. They came out when they said they would, and I haven't had any trouble with pests. The one time I had numerous flies in the house, they came out and inspected and provided some sound advice. I am pleased with their professionalism and response and plan on renewing my contract.

Everything went as expected. I thought it was a good value and was very satisfied with the entire experience. I bought the service late Sunday night and Monday morning the office called to schedule an appointment. They had Tuesday available! Great customer service.

They were timely and worked very hard in extremely hot weather. They got the job done in two days.

Prior to treatment we had a lot of spiders and a few waterbugs. After the treatment we've seen only one bug. They were prompt and professional, and I look forward to using them for years to come.

The company was responsive in scheduling the service but the service performed was not worth the time or money.

I wanted to wait a few months before writing my review so that I could speak objectively. I purchased a coupon from Angie's List for a one year pest control contract with Universal. Our pest problem included ants (inside and out) spiders and american cockroaches (sometimes called water bugs or Palmetto bugs, but make no mistake, they're roaches!) As you can imagine, the cockroaches were my biggest concern. They are huge, disgusting to kill and seemingly impossible to get rid of. Universal showed up on time and treated the inside and outside of the house with a spray and also treated the outside with granuals. Two weeks later, I saw no results. I was told that this could happen and they said to call and they would come back out. Well, they certainly did. Every week until I started seeing results. The ants finally started getting under control, but the American cockroaches seemed relentless. When the spray didn't work, they put out traps, when that wasn't working, they put out bait. Finally, something started working! Before, I was seeing at least one of these things on a daily basis, but I am happy to say that I haven't seen one for 3 weeks. If I had written this review a month ago, it would have been a much different story. I am pleased that I was patient and took them at their word when they said they would come back until the problem was resolved.

It was fine, provider was very pleasant, thorough, and informative.

They were too quick, too fast compared to other companies I've used. They didn't do a quality job. It seemed they just wanted to get in and out.

He did a very thorough job and even pointed out areas where bugs and such may be entering our garage and home. We will be getting all those sealed up immediately.

I had an ant problem out of the blue - saw this coupon, bought it, they called me the next day. Ants gone, and have set up quarterly treatments. good job!!!

We used them from a special advertised on Angie's List for pest control. The service provider was very friendly, However the job was done very quickly, not getting all areas as I normally see done with my previous pest control appointments by another company. In about 2 weeks after the treatment we started to see more ants, spiders, and water bugs than we have ever seen and we've lived here 11 years. Not sure why that would be, but for something that was just a precaution and maintenance has now become a needed service.

The pest control serviceman was on time and professional. I was pleased with the experience so much that I upgraded to a pest control service plan.

Agent showed up on time and was more than willing to discuss the options I might try. He was knowledgeable and professional. I Decided on a natural type product inside and outside. We generally do not like spray inside but decided it was necessary this time because of crazy black spiders (run in circles) so opted for the natural with the understanding that it was not quite as effective as some other products. Seems to have worked about the same except we still see an occasional silverfish. Did see my first house centipede about 2 months after spraying and that will give anyone the willies. Bad looking, scary looking dude but understand that it actually eats silverfish. About 3/4 inch long but has about 25 pair of long thin legs with some 2 inches long. Had to look it up by description and it was first thing that popped up on Google. May switch from my current termite treatment company to Universal but have not decided because they are so far from my home although they say they routinely do work this far from Va Beach. Will see. I

I was told the inspection process would require access to the crawl space of our house. The service guy was at our house for less than 15 minutes, so he could not have given more than a cursory glance to the crawl space, if that. He sprinkled the chemical treatment around the outside perimeter of the house and left. I do not feel like I got my money's worth on this one.

I saw more after the treatment then I did before the treatment. I called Universal Pest and Termite, Inc. back and they basically said tough, if you bought this service through Angie's List it is a one time treatment. Therefore, they could have treated with water as far as I know. They want you to sign up for pest control contracts. I wouldn't recommend throwing your time and money away on this ONE TIME TREATMENT package.

Woody, arrived on time, was very personable and friendly. Went over and above requested service removing and spraying outside spider webs, as well as spraying and treating inside of the house.

We called them to deal with an ant problem that wouldn't go away with our exterminator. Not only did they get rid of the ant problem pronto, they also discovered that we had termites! They came out to treat the termites the next day. My husband is a carpenter and has since found the damage caused by the termites.

We purchased 3 pest treatment deals from Angie's List. We used one of them on a property we have listed for sale. The house was vacant and had a persistent ant problem in the kitchen area. The technician was very personable. He listened when I explained what I had seen. He treated along the baseboards and the crevices. He searched around outside to see where they were coming in and treated crevices and the ant hills nearby. The next time I was in the house, I saw a couple of ants, but no where near the steady trails I observed before. A week later, I didn't see any ants at all. I was concerned that the house might have a bad odor after the treatment, but it did not.

The agent was extremely knowledgeable, polite and explained everything in layman's terms. I am very impressed and highly recommend Tom Lamb.

We like their service and they are always friendly and good when they come out to the house. They are always here exactly when they say they will. The people who work in the field are better than the people who work in the office.

A very nice young man came and did the whole house and seemed to do a good job. But I'm not sure about the effectiveness because we still have some problem. But he was very honest. He told us that it was hard to take care of everything.

I have been using them for five years. Service is excellent. I will use them in future.
