VERY PLEASED. Work completed ahead of schedule with no additional costs or problems. Workers were professional and were on site bright and early - every day! Did not work weekends. Once ground broke, took about 7 days to complete. (about 500 sq feet). Tommy Bryant (owner) came to give me estimate - and was on site during entire project. Does what he says and even a little extra. Easy to work with and communicate - he stays in contact through entire project and gets the details right. Never left me out of the loop. Left area clean and removed all debris. Only reason I gave them 5 stars is becasue 6 stars is not available. Most accomodating contractor I have worked with in some time and I have had several over the years. Nice to see "service" and customer satisfaction part of the equation again - a rare thing these days. Straight forward answers and recommendations. Got three estimates and Turtle Rock was within a few hundred dollars of all three bids - it was his hands on attitude that sold me. TREX is not cheap - so I felt it was a fair price for the job - and his team was meticulous on every step of the construction. Well built ( I was watching the wrok every day since I am retired) he and his crew were happy to answer any and all of my questions. I learned a lot. I know I will enjoy the deck for years to come.

Turtle Rock is one of the best subcontractors I've worked with. They a professional, conscientious, prompt and highly dependable.

My neighbor used them and that was how I called Tommy, the owner. That was how I got him. He knows his stuff and he does great work. He also lives in the area which is perfect. He would show up when he says that he is going to show up and he will be very straight with you. He will say, "Here is what you need and here is what I would charge you." I am getting some more work done with him. I have not called him yet but I will be in two weeks.

I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Tommy and his crew were always punctual and thorough. They attended to all my concerns. Tommy is an excellent problem-solver. His advice and guidance made this project very successful.

We had several challenges with city permit issues due to Chesapeake bay zoning issues and Tommy helped us to navigate the process and his reputation with the city inspectors went a long way to simplifying the process. Overall the project took much longer than we had expected due to city approval process and a very wet summer, but the results were definitely worth the wait - the screen porch is every thing I had hoped for and Tommy was very easy to work with and his attention to detail is second to none. I highly recommend Turtle Rock Construction.

After meeting with several contractors who either provided high prices for a deck I didn't want or had terrible customer service, I finally found one who really knew what he was doing and offered it at great prices. Unfortunately, that contractor said the deck was too high for him to construct as it was adjacent to the second story of my house and over water. So that vendor recommended Tommy at Turtle Rock and that recommendation was great! I now have a high quality deck that works perfectly on my property. Over the year it took for planning, approvals, and permits, Tommy was patient and great to work with. Even when issues arose with how I wanted the deck to be built, Tommy was continually working with me to get me the deck I wanted. I was very pleased with the quality of construction and his dedication to the project. He was also great working with other vendors as I brought in engineers and landscapers to do work related to the deck. If I have to do any future deck work, I will definitely call Tommy.

The workers were on sight no later than 0800 every morning and worked steadily through the early evening. Though the job required a large amount of excavation it was completed in less than a week. The workers were neat, courteous, and professional. The deck looks great and is rock solid over 9 years later. Turtle Rock is without doubt the best contractor we have ever hired to do any type of work on or around our house. I would hire them again without hesitation.

He is such a great guy and he is always ready to come over and give you a bid on everything. He is like the most warm and giving person. He always does a great job and he is very professional and he doesn't charge a lot of money. He is just very reasonable. I think that people will be surprised at the amount of work they will do. I have used their services for 10 years. He has done different projects for us. He keeps you in the loop as to whatever is happening.

He was great. The guys were really professional. They were older, more mature guys. They cleaned everything up at the end of each day. They didn't leave things lying around. They didn't play music. They were very pleasant to deal with, very nice guys. We were satisfied with the work for the length of time that we had the deck. The only problem was that some of the wood was touching the ground, so the moisture was eating away at it, which is one of the reasons I had the deck ripped out. The workmanship was great.

Fantastic. Beautfiul work. Tommy is a busy man who coaches baseball, yet is always on the job, even on Saturday if necessary. His crew is extemely hard-working, responsive and friendly. They made suggestions as they went along--for example, the wood on the porch needed to be replaced, which they asked us about and then did. They replaced the new railing on the deck by the hot tub because I didn't like the original color. Tommy performed several tasks that were above and beyond the contract, with no extra charge. We called him on a Friday night with a concern and he was at our house Saturday morning at 7am to look at it! I felt terrible!

These guys were amazing workers. They paid close attention to all the little details. They were very honest and skilled workers. They have done work for other members of my family and they did wonderful jobs for them also. These guys are truly the best company around.
