We had an immediate need to have a king-sized mattress cleaned due to an accident. I called the company at 9AM and had the service provider at our home by 11AM (exactly as promised). The job was completed quickly and efficiently. We were quite pleased with the results.

The deal was done satisfactorily. The only complaint I have is in the extra charge. If there is a 'required' pretreat of $84 that is above and beyond the deal of $179, it should be mentioned before the consumer purchases the deal. It is unexpected and not easy to accommodate when the person is there at the house. The deal is fine but it is the unexpected charge and when we tried to turn down the pre-treat we were told we couldn't that it was required.. If it is required then the should be included in the deal. $263 is still a good deal...the perception is made to be a little shady..

It was done all right. The carpet is actually like flat to the floor. It doesn't look as good as it did before he did the job. He cleaned it but I don't know if there was another process in there that should have been used as well as cleaning it. Other than that, it was fine. The service was good, it's just that I think I should have gotten something that's different to fluff up. We had to pay extra for stuff. He did good, just that if I was on the scale of one to 10, I probably would have given him a nine. It was reasonable but I think I should have added something else to it to get my results. He was well mannered. He was very timely and professional. I need to add something to what else he's doing so I could get the results I'm looking for.

Was to arrive 0950-arrived 0920. Came and look at our hom and his project. Unload all his hoses. Sprayed with hand sprayer came back with different spray anddid the heavy areas. He then started cleaning and did all 5 rooms & hallway, cvleaned up androlled up all his hoses and was all done by 1025. He was quick not any lost motions called us in and we and he went over all his work and the rug looked like new!!! Good job.

FRAUD ALERT. Purchased a special on Angies' List for $99 for 4 rooms and a hallway. Prepaid for the service. The driver came out and charged an additional $112.00. FRAUD ALERT. The actual charges were: two rooms cleaned for $69.95; a Service Call fee that was not disclosed on Angies List of $19.00; and $24 for mandatory carpet pretreatment. All of these charges were in addition to what AngiesList charged for the same service. This company is to be avoided at all costs.

SteamMaster is the way to go for all your carpet cleaning needs. Everything about this encounter was pleasant. I called on a Tuesday to try and schedule cleaning before a family gathering I planned on Saturday. I was told they could come out the very next day. On the date of service, John arrived a little before the scheduled time, inspected the area of carpet to be cleaned, quoted me a price, then got to work. Since I only needed two flights of stairs cleaned it only took about 30 minutes before he was done and the carpet looked and smelled wonderful. I am very pleased with the service I received and will use SteamMaster in the future!

Bought the Angie's List deal for $99.00 Pre-Treated the floor for $36.00 more. Steam cleaned a few rooms, and the hallway. Much cleaner as I could see the difference. Arrived on time. Good service.

The 69.00 special turned into a fee for the service call, and $12.00 for "Pretreatment" of a spot which amounted to a few squirts of soap from a spay bottle. Total $100.89. When I called to schedule the appointment I asked what the cost was. They said it was 69.00. There was no mention of a service fee or extra costs for pretreatment. Should have been honest up front. When they showed up and quoted the real price, I was in a bind as there was furniture to be delivered the next day. I had no time to find anyone else. They did a fair job of cleaning but only cleaned in one direction. I have seen good cleaners clean and brush in two directions. They did come the day after I called and were on time.

I used this company for my business first time last year and now they clean my house and my business partner's house as well. It is so hard to find reliable and professional service in Hampton Roads area. Somebody recommended SteamMaster and i decided to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised when i called SteamMaster. Making an appointment was brisk and easy. John (technician) showed up 5 minutes before scheduled time, he was very friendly and professional. I was watching him working via hidden camera and let me tell you this guy was extremely thorough. After job was done my carpet looked brand new. Needless to say they won my business hands down. I recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you SteamMaster!

They did a good job. They were on time and the carpets are clean.

I called a small private company instead of a large corporate one to support small business. They were able to come the same day, I had them come the next to do upholstery cleaning for me. The worker arrived on time, and began working. While he was working he made numerous trips in and out of my house. On this particular day it was raining, he tracked his muddy feet ALL over my carpet. I put down towels for him to walk on, and he continued to walk on my rug. A horrible smell came the entire time, much like sewage from his truck. My couch was sitting in a storage unit, so I decided to have it freshened up, it wasn’t that dirty!When he was finished, he dumped his bucked of filthy sewage water from where ever else he had been on my driveway, leaving pieces of carpet and hair and all sorts of remains that were sealed to my driveway for the next month. He said my couch would be dry in 2 hours. Two days later it still wasn’t usable, as it was still wet. The cleaner had an overwhelming smell of orange to it, so much so we avoided the room. When he left, I was charged extra because the couch had pillows....When we called to complain about the now stained carpet, the couch still wet and the orange smell that remained they told us they would come do it again. I didn’t need the couch cleaned again, I told them I was upset with the professionalism, the additional charge for the pillows, the mess that remained on the driveway and the orange smell. We asked the owner to come out and see the driveway, it was PILES of debris, and he told us we couldn’t afford him, he would send the same worker out to see if he left a mess. We thought that didn’t make much sense as the worker could just deny it, and the guy basically told us to sod off.

The company rep was professional and polite. He was running 20 minutes behind schedule, but called 1/2 hour before our appointment time to let me know.
