SPARKLE RENOVATIONS

I was told I would get charged an hourly rate of $40.00 and that it would take approximately 20-30 mins to disconnect and 45 min to 1 hour to reconnect everything and that my bill would be $40 to $60 dollars max. It only took 15 mins to disconnect everything however, when it was time to reconnect everything it took over 12 hours total to do the reinstall. He was working on the sink from approximately 4:00 PM until after 10:00 PM on one day and spent another 5 hours the next day to complete the install. He also went to Home Depot (5 mins from my house) on both days and was gone for over 90 mins. I think he was asking questions on how to connect the sink. I complained several times about the the time he was taking and the fact I was being charged hourly. After much complaining, he agreed to give me a set price. He wanted to charge me $225 dollars and asked if that was fair, I was outraged! He then agreed to charge me 175 dollars, I just wanted him gone so I agreed. The next day when he finally finished (after another 5-6 hours) he went to his car to write up my bill. He was out in his car for another 35 minutes! He came with a bill of $237 dollars and added an itemized list of stuff he said he had to purchase from Home Depot. Keep in mind he never had anything approved by me for him to purchase ahead of time. I was going to use him to dig up my mulch and put new mulch down but he did such a poor job with my sink and ripped me off I stopped him and told him never mind. He had started digging up the mulch, he spent about 30 mins filling 2 wheel barrels and charged me $80 dollars! We argued over the high price but I just wanted him gone so I paid him. Sparkle Renovations is a rip off. He quotes one price and after you agree and he starts the work, he nickles and dimes you by continuously raises his prices and he finds reasons to get more money out of you by saying he forgot to include something in the price, this is even after a signed contract. I wouldn't recommend you use this guy, buyer beware!
