Contacted David, owner of the company to make an appointment for an estimate to have wall(s) removed in our bathroom, which we are renovating. He missed first appointment, but did call prior to, and we made arrangement for him to come out the next day. Came out to home, reviewed worked to be done, gave us an estimate of $200 to remove a wall and replace it with header beam, since the wall was load bearing. We agreed on price, and he told me to call him the next morning to set a time up for that day to come out to do the work. I called him as requested the next morning, and he rudely told my husband that "the work wasn't happening today"; made some excuse as to relatives in town, etc.; We did not appreciate his attitude; if he wasn't interested in doing the work, he should have said so the day he came out to give an estimate! It was a total waste of time. We eventually got another contractor to perform the work and were happy with the price and results.

I didn't realize until months later, that the nails installed (in my deck) were rusting. He really skimmed on a very important part of the deck. When I originally had a deck done, he put in nails which later ended up rusting & I had to have the screw holes filled in to prevent any further rust from occurring. The screws he originally put in my deck are now loose since, he didn't put in long enough wood screws. The deck is warped & I am probably going to have to have someone else come out to repair the deck. He's not very reliable. I called him several times (about this matter), he promised with dates & times to come out but he never came. He had me waiting two days in a row & I am going to end up going to consumer affairs regarding this situation.
Description of Work: He replaced all the wood on the deck and skirting around the edges. He also built a privacy wall around my hot tub. He built a couple wood benches on my deck. He also built a couple stairs.
