When our home flooded this nice general contractor put it back together for us. They were absolutely wonderful to work with. It was 2016-2017. It took them about four months to put the house back together, our home was flooded with 8-12 inches of water and we lived in a rancher. So, the walls had to be cut and redid, it was major work they had to do. I would use them again if I had a need for their services definitely.
Description of Work: They were the contractors that put our house together after the flood.

Hired RWA for a kitchen remodel. Everything went well at first. Toward the end, I received a call in the morning stating their worker had a medical emergency and would not be able to come. I offered to delay the work another day, but was assured Jason would try to get to me. Received another call with the same assurance in the afternoon. Jason called around 5:00 to say he couldn't come. I sat at home all day waiting. The next day everything was rushed. They had several workers this time where previously there were only one or two. They dropped grout on the floor and did not do a thorough clean up, The cabinet doors were never adjusted. The tile back splash isn't up to standards with chipped uneven tiles. Called to have the pot rack installed and Jason was not happy with the rating on Home Advisor and claimed he didn't know about the worker's medical issue. Had told Andrea and called several times about the trash left outside (including a pail of hard grout) and some also left in the garage. Jason also claimed he didn't know about that. All the above problems were in the same review. There have been numerous other small problems that I discovered since the review.
Description of Work: Kitchen remodel.

Response from RWA Restoration LLC
We have cut and pasted the original review from this customer on Home Advisor, which includes our response: Comments: The only thing I did not like was the huge crown molding. The cabinets and countertops are fantastic. Especially love the pull-outs. The crew could have been more meticulous on the clean up. Trash was left in the garage and outside, there were spots of grout on the floor, tile and window ledge. The actual work days totaled six, but was spread out over a three week period. On one occasion was expecting a worker to show up. He had a medical issue and I was told someone would "try to get" to me. Finally got a call at almost 4:00 informing me that no one would come until the next day. Your Comments: This kitchen remodel is considered one of the most time efficient jobs we have ever done. The original start date was September 17. We moved the start date forward to September 11. Demolition and base cabinets were set by Thursday September 12, the same day granite was measured. Installation continued through the following week, granite got installed on Thursday, September 19, and the job was complete on Monday, September 23. The trash was neatly in a trash bin and picked up immediately. We even went the extra mile to satisfy the customer's request to donate the old cabinets to Habitat for Humanity. We are so proud of this job! Pics posted!

We contacted this person on Wed. 12/4/2013 to get an estimate on a bathroom remodel. We knew they were located in Va. Beach, so the first thing we asked is if they do work in Hampton. They said yes and would be out to give us an estimate at 9:30 on 12/6/2013. My husband took the morning off work to be here and at 8:40 am on 12/6/2013 we got a call telling us they decided they didn't want to come to Hampton. My husband asked as to why they waited until the last minute to make this decision,as they could have just told us that when we called, but got no explanation. I'm glad we found out that they are unreliable before we hired them.

We apologize, [member name removed], that you were misinformed about our decision to decline the job. Our management made an executive decision that we could not provide you with the level of quality that is required for interior renovations, due to the heavy volume of work, the holiday season, and travel time. Your husband was originally contacted at 8:30 am, so that he would have enough time to re-plan his day.

They arrived on a Tuesday with a substantial crew. Marked the location(s) where the concrete would be poured. Removed the sod. Dug down to the required depth. One day delay due to rain. Thursday they installed all the framing. Friday the concrete was delivered and poured. They spent the majority of the day smoothing and making sure everything was to my satisfaction. They were very meticulous in cleaning up the area. The concrete cured over the weekend and they were back Monday morning to remove the forms. Jason Castle took me through every stage of their work making sure I was satisfied with what they were doing. I am extremely happy with the finished product and will hire this company again. They are qualified to do just about anything you could ever want done to the interior/exterior of your home.
Description of Work: Extended current cement driveway parking pad. Running a sidewalk all the way down the side yard and adding a large pad for storage of trash receptacles, etc.

This job was originally on the schedule to be completed in a one week timeframe. Multiple declined credit card transactions and a hostile environment provoked by the tenants (daughter and "class A contractor" son in law), forced us to terminate the contract with this Angie's List member.

Jason and his team did an outstanding job. I absolutely love my new kitchen. They were complete professionals and went the extra mile in order to make my kitchen a dream come true.
Description of Work: They completely gutted my kitchen including tearing out cabinets and countertops. They took down a part of the ceiling that came down to the cabinets as well as the florescent lighting and had to rewire kitchen.
