R & S Outdoors

We had an ongoing problem with moisture and water in our backyard. We hired R&S Outdoors based on their website and the large number of positive reviews from customers. Ralph and Shannon and their team came through for us! A sump pump was installed, which completely eradicated our water and moisture issue. Work was done quickly and professionally. R&S Outdoors also quickly responded to our calls and emails. Thank you for a job well done.

We have used Ralph of R and S Outdoors in the past to trim our crepe myrtles and have been very happy with the results, they grew back in nicely and didn't look "butchered". This time as well as the tree trimming, we also had him remove a very large bushy shrub. He and his team did a great job with a minimum of mess, and no damage to my spring bulbs planted nearby. I absolutely recommend R and S Outdoors.

R & S Outdoors is an awesome company, with experienced workers. They did a very large tree removal and other services for me last month. Their workmanship is superior. It just doesn't get any better than these guys. I am truly satisfied with their work. My yard looks absolutely beautiful. These guys are the best. 💯⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

R&S does great work and has very fair and reasonable prices. I had them do a French drain, foundation sealing, gutter divergence system, tree removal, level my back yard, and plant some shrubs to cover a hideous power box. Ralph or Shannon responded rapidly to any concerns I had, but it did take a little longer than normal to get started with the initial job. Granted that was due to unforeseen medical issues and everyone is understanding with the matter. After they completed all the work, I didn’t run my sprinkler system since it was summer and I didn’t plant any grass. When I finally got around to testing my system (on 09/2020) I discovered that there was a crack in my PVC. I called Ralph to discuss and he came to the house early the next morning to investigate. Despite not knowing what caused the crack in the pipe, he offered to fix the sprinkler issue. What truly surprised me was that he noticed that my ground was still uneven in certain areas and he also told me that they will bring additional dirt to touch up those areas. I decided to hire R&S despite seeing some negative reviews because they are a small family owned business. Those types of businesses usually have great customer service because their customers are like family…and Ralph and Shannon did not prove me wrong. THEY DID PHENOMENAL WORK AT A GREAT PRICE! I’d ignore any negative reviews and give them a call. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

Came out last year and installed a drainage pipe from my gutter to the end of my yard and two small drywells. Still had puddles forming and flooding in my yard. My yard is a small town home yard. Ralph told us when we closed the first contract out that he wasnt sure if it was going to work and he would come back out to fix the issues. He did not seem like he knew exactly how to fix the issue. He kept talking to me about the issue like I would know how to handle it. I had to show him multiple times where the puddles were forming, but told him that the whole yard stays soggy and saturated, but he seemed to want to focus on the puddle spots. Well needless to say what he did the first time never fixed anything. The yard was still saturated and flooded. Me and my fiance called, and called, and called, and called. We finally set a date for august after he kept telling us we had to wait until summer when it was completely dry so he could come in and move sand around. August came he pushed us back two weeks. Then we never heard from him after august past. Finally I was at my wits end and documented the problems everytime it rained and was ready to go to small claims court. I filed a better business bureau complaint and called him and told him I was going to take him to court. Suprise suprise he called back and actually upset with me that I was going to take him to court. He told me he will fix the issue, but no more talk about going to court and suing. Oh by the way everytime I called there would be kids screaming in the background and his wife picked up the phone and she is not the friendliest person out there. He then kept calling me asking me what I want done. Let me clarify I paid him 1800 dollars because I do not know much about yard drainage and I wanted a professional who knew what to do to come out and install it. If I knew how to fix the issue I would have done it myself with my fiance. I finally got angry and told him I do not what to do and he was suppose to be the professional and he started stuttering and did not know what to say other then that with my neighbors yard draining into mine there isnt much he could do. Wow wish he would of told me that when I first hired him 10 months before that. He informed me he could put flower beds along my fence to keep the neighbors water out of my yard but that would be extra. I told him I am not paying him another dime and that all I asked for in the first place was just the front part of my yard to be dry enough when it rains that I do not need rubber boots to walk past my patio. He said he would drop a three foot dry well in front my patio. I agreed just because I was done with the whole thing. He came out a month later and dug up a hole in front my patio dropped rocks in it, put fabric over it and put dirt over it. Piled the excess dirt along a small portion of my fence and left. Took a hour all together. Overall very unprofessional, did not fix the problem what so ever, could of told me to begin with that he couldn't fix so I wouldn't of wasted my time and money, and changed his story multiple times. Also tried to get me to drop my better buisness bureau complaint. Two days later after he came out (today) I had to ask my fiance to pile dirt up against our house by our patio so we do not have standing water sitting on the edge of our house. That is what 1800 dollars got me. I also have pictures from this morning two days after he finished the job after a light rain all night that shows flooding and saturation all over my yard. This whole process took nearly a year.

I was very impressed with R and S Outdoors. This company came in and did tree and driange work for me. I have had water issues since I purchased my home but they fixed them all. Thank you so much.
