Mr. Mack showed up about four hours late to the job on a Sunday late afternoon about 90 minutes prior to sunset. The job was completed that evening. In the darkness from a ground perspective, the job appeared satisfactory. He stated that he had a problem with the longest span beam (some 22 feet in length) in that the metal flashing, when installed, had ripples in the material. He stated that section was replaced with a new section of flashing. It was emphasised at the start of the job that the wraping material needed to fit snugly to the beam especially the 1" vertical flanges on both sides of the U-channel so that the siding wouldfit tight to the beam sides. About 2 weeks after the installation I started to place the siding in place. The first beam that he did in the daylight went as planned. As I moved around to the longest beam problems were encountered. The channel dimensions were: 5 1/2" across the bottom of the channel with 1" side flanges on both sides which were to be pinned to the vertical sides of the laminated beam. All of the rest of the metal channel segments did not fit the beams in that 1" verlical side flange area. There are 1/2" rippled gaps between the trim and the beam. They cannot be made to lie flat against the beam (believe me I tried). The result of this improper fit is that the siding cannot be made to lay up against the side of the beam and there are gaps of about 1/2" between the siding and the metal trim at many randon positions along the beams. I tried to contact Mr. Mack on at least 3 ocassions once the problem was discovered. All I got was his voice mail. I explained the problem in detail and stated that the problem was preventing me from siding the house in these areas. These contact attempts were made in early January; none of my calls were ever returned. I started calling and leaving a detailed message on the voice mail about the first of Femruary; this call has never received a response either. On 02/10/15 I contacted Allied Building Products in Chesapeake Va. about this issue (they stated that they would be on the lookout for Mr. Mack and would suggest he call me ASAP; Mr. Mack was referred to me by Allied).
Description of Work: Placed U-shaped vinyl clad aluminum trim under the bottom of five glue laminated structural beams that support a drive thru portico on a house addition that is under construction so that the vinyl cedar shake siding could be applied to the structure to blend into the rest of the house.

My mother had her roof replaced by Patrick Mack back in June 2014. Consequently, the roof later leaked, and I attempted to contact Patrick Mack with the phone numbers provided on both the contract and business card...both numbers called responded that they did not know a Patrick Mack. Does anyone know how to contact this guy?
