+ -1 moreCarl Eby the owner comes across very sincere and was recommended by a realtor who was going to sell my home. I put trust in him and before I paid him questioned the binding in the door. He said it would loosen up, if not he would be back. I called him the nest day letting him know that several screws where coming out. Said he would be over the next day at noon. NEVER CALLED OR SHOWED UP. After about two weeks of calling him he finally answered his phone. Said he would be over next day at noon. You guested it, NEVER CALLED OR SHOWED UP. He was called many times and texted.. He NEVER got back with me. OCEAN AIR REMODELING DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK. Had to replace with new jam, he did so much damage to the jam. To hide is improper installation he adjusted the weather striping so you would not see the light coming thru the top and side of the door. I trusted him and paid him with a check instead of credit card to help him save money. DO NOT TRUST THIS PERSON OR COMPANY
Description of Work: Had two exterior doors, one a front door with side window special order. Just had to be put in. He did not insulate under door and did not put wiring in for door bell ( told him I needed door bell). The second door required new molding and door jam. He messed up the door jam by cutting one side an inch to short (he put caulk in to cover up his goof, which he did a bad job of doing). Instead of using a router to cut out the indentation for the hinge in the jam, he gouged out the opening to deep and way over the size of the hinge. The door was hung to low which caused the door sweep to tear and the top of door was to low and you can see out side. After a couple of uses the screws in the door jam hinges came out. You could see the hinges twisting.
