+ -1 moreThis guy Bryan Ruff if it's even his real name also goes by Steve and SB Contracting, Inc. real smooth talker sounds like he knows the business but don't be fooled he's a con-artist!!! Took our $800 and at first claimed he would do it the following day and than the following day made excuses and even claimed his mom died. Never dropped off floor nor refunded deposit. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH STEVE OR BRYAN RUFF!!!!! He is a con-artist !!!!!
Description of Work: Provider was hired to install pergo laminate flooring and underpayment plus toe molding. We gave $800 deposit to buy the floor and deliver next day.

+ -1 moreWork was performed, installation of a Gutter and Downspout system. Contractor never paid and dodged all attempts at payment. Loss of $1200.
Description of Work: Work was performed for this general contractor, NW Contracting or Bryan Ruff. He paid with a Bad Check on a Closed account. Continually dodged requests for payment and finally disappeared from sight, selling his house, changing his phone number etc. When I tried to track him down I found numerous accounts of his shoddy business practices and stiffing tradesmen out of their pay. Homeowners need to be aware of the possibility of a mechanics lien being filed against their property.
