McKown Pressure Wash & Painting

First contact was easy via phone. The company e-mailed an estimate the next day and we scheduled service for the next week. Mike, the technician, called 20 minutes before he arrived, as arranged. He explained what he would do, then cleaned the gutters before washing the house, including the second-story crown that we couldn't reach. The whole process took about 90 minutes and the difference is startling. We would definitely bring this company back again if we need any other work done.

McKown was selected from reviews on Angie's List. Requested to have the chimney brick along side of the porch to be pressure washed with the soffits and was included in the estimate. The work on the chimney was not done. It took a few phone calls to get an answer as to why the work was not done as requested. We were told the technician did not pressure wash the chimney due to concerns of getting debris from cleaning on the furniture on the porch. The furniture in question was still covered up from the winter and was in the opposite corner of the screened in porch. There was no way any debris would have gotten on the furnishings. In fact, the furniture was along side soffits that were cleaned.....go figure. Pictures were sent to the sales person who estimated the job and they had the technician come out a second time. The majority of the chimney was cleaned. The rest of the work house was satisfactory completed. I would have accepted acknowledgement that a mistake was made instead of the flimsy excuse offered. There was no follow up from the owner or the sales person afterwards.

Jack did the work. He was personable and very professional and managed despite the intense heat. Work was delayed part way through by bad weather but resumed as soon as it was feasible. We are very satisfied with the results and feel that the cost was fair.

When I arrived home from work my house was completely restored to newness again. The gentleman did a great job cleaning off the green moldy looking dirt. When I called the office to set an appointment I left a message and Kelly returned my call same day, she was friendly and professional.

The company was very professional and did a superior job! Mike, (the technician power washing my house) spoke with me before he started to make sure he understood my expectations then went right to work. He followed up with me when he was finished to make sure I was pleased with the results. He was very professionally and I was amazed how good my house looked again. I give them an A+ rating and will hire then in an instant the next time I need such services. My house is over 40 years old and were able to make the siding look like almost brand new again. The McKown crew pressure washed our house and cleaned the gutters. They gave us a written estimate and did the job right away. We were very pleased with the job and the men that did the work. We would certainly use them again.

That turned out fine. Just one employee came out and it took him about 2 hours at the most. He did the exterior pressure washing washing on a 2 story home. The price was reasonable and they did an excellent job.

He came within the scheduled time, did all the work he was hired to do...He was professional and courteous.

I am disappointed with the response from this company. I have called and sent an email. They have not responded to the email and the telephone call I made was not returned.

Was contacted the next day after I purchased the deal. They came out a couple of days later. Job was done when I got home from work! It was a wonderful deal!!!

The vinyl siding on the house looked so much better when they finished.

OMG! They did a wonderful job! We have never had our siding pressure washed before and I can definitely say that this is the best thing ever! The came out the next day after scheduling and were there first thing in the morning! Awesome quality of product and superb customer service!

Since the response to us was so late, we had hired another painter by then.

I'd say overall I am mostly satisfied except for a few things. The quote process is somewhat quick, unless you have questions or changes, then it takes a few days and phone calls to receive the final corrected quote. What they don't tell you during the quote is that the washing of the gutters is not included in the price for washing the house. When I asked about that, I was told it costs extra because they will be "hand washed". During the actual day of washing the gutters were pressure sprayed with the rest of the house, NOT hand washed, I feel this is an extra fee they charge for, that you don't actually receive. They also do not tell you that they contract the washing out, I expected a McKowan vehicle or employee wearing said company logo. You get a guy that shows up with his own personal vehicle, equipment & clothing, I feel this should be disclosed when quoting so I would have known who to expect. Lastly they do not follow up to see if you are satisfied with the work.

The gentleman was prompt and very friendly. He answered all my questions and set about to clean the siding. some areas needed more attention and he took the time to do it as well as ensuring all the siding looked great. He clean up afterwards and said that it should last a couple of years. Great job1

It went really well. They were on time, quick and very professional. They came out and gave me an estimate. They were very thorough on what they could and couldn’t do and kind of the expectations that you have. The guy that had come out had like over 20 years of experience. He was very courteous. He ended up breaking a small part of the siding when he was pressure washing the siding. So he explained the situation and told me what had happened and he kind of make up for it by pressure washing my sidewalk which wasn’t included in the deal. Overall, I was very happy with the service that they provided.

They did an excellent job of cleaning our home with the low pressure cleaning system, arrived on time did a thorough job, very happy with the outcome!!! Would highly recommend this company.

The service was fine. I was not home when they did the work, but they were very accommodating. They did the pressure washing on a 2 story home and I spoke with the secretary mostly.
