They were very professional and very courteous. They were on time and they did a very good job.

Very well. This is the second time I used Harvey and his company. This was scheduled about two weeks in advance. Harvey ran a bit late because mine was the second house of the day, but he and his crew stayed until the job was done. I watched them do part of the work and they did a through job even though it went into early evening.

Overall, I never got an estimate, I decided to seek another painter.

It was much higher than the other two I estimates.

They did a great job! Harvey came out the same day I called to provide an estimate and the price was very reasonable. His crew showed up on time, worked diligently to remove stubborn wallpaper, did an excellent job repairing drywall imperfections and painting the kitchen. Harvey closely supervised the job with periodic check ins. His crew was upbeat, polite and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again.

Harvey and his crew did a great job painting, completing all the work in one day. His pricing is very good and you definitely get more than your money's worth. I will hire again to do additional painting.

Harvey Rogers patiently worked with us to select paint colors including his making three trips to my home to brush on samples he had obtained from the paint store during the estimating process. After my delaying the job six weeks because of other scheduled construction, he was able to start painting within a week of my giving him the go ahead. His painters were all mature, experienced, friendly and polite men who worked steadily and cleaned up at the end of each day. No loud music or conversation. Harvey was there most of every day to supervise. They finished in 6 days (had estimated as much as 8-9 days). Harvey responded in one day to my call after they finished to correct a minor omission on one door. When 21/2 months later I became aware of several missed areas on the fascia board he came out promptly and fixed them. He said several times when I requested something that we had not talked about before hand, e.g., caulking around windows and doors (not usually necessary with stain vs. paint) that he wanted me to be pleased with his work and I was. He even washed my windows after caulking them! They cleaned up well after the job was finished.His attitude when called back to fix problems was that it was not a problem for him as he wanted me to be completely satisfied with his work. The only reason that I am rating him B rather than A is that I feel he should have noticed the missed areas during the job and/or on his final inspection before he finished.I would use him again, but I would make a greater effort next time to inspect the work at the end of each day and to do a final inspection with him before he left on the final day. I was unable to be home the day he finished and so could not do that this time.

All work was done within estimate, in time frame stated, pleasant workers, punctual, professional.

We called Harvey when we realized that, because our gutters had not been draining properly, the wood around our brick house was being compromised. He came out the next day (as promised) and spent a good deal of time looking over things. He then provided an estimate for the whole gamut of services (pressure washing, gutter cleaning, wood repair, and painting). We decided to get everything done. The crew showed up on time or early every day. They worked all day and finished a very extensive job in seven days. They did extensive repairs to some windows. They removed the gutters on our front porch, repaired the damage and replaced our gutters. They did an amazing job painting the entire exterior of our house. Harvey was very communicative throughout the whole process. He gave us frequent updates on repair options and was clear and reasonable about any added expenses. There were never any surprises on the cost of the repair. On the last day of work he came out and personally inspected the job, asking his crew to touch up some areas. They went above and beyond, even going so far as to paint our mailbox post for us! The end result is beautiful. We will certainly be calling on Master Painters to help us keep our gutters clean and for any future painting jobs we need, interior or exterior.

The job went exceptionally well and took about three days overall. Ron came the first day and pressure washed all the above areas. Ron and two others came the second day and began the repairs and paint work and two men finished up on the third day. When the front gutters were removed, we found that the vinyl siding had been cut and the gutters run through the siding. Ron had some left over siding (from when he resided his own house) and used it to fix the siding on my house. And there was no extra charge. I also received a 10% discount after mentioning that I got their name from Angie's List.

Al, Cooper and Jack came on time everyday, did an excellent job and were fun to chat with. They transformed what was once an ugly entry way and master bedroom into something magnificent! This company is the best!!! Harvey (the owner) was wonderful to work with as well. Choose this company if you want a very professional looking result for a very reasonable price.

Harvey came out promptly for an estimate. He was the lowest price, which I would not normally go with, but he was highly recommended on Angie's list. The painting was fair. The real issue was with preparation. Even though I specifically questioned whether they would scrape/prime the areas that were peeling, it was not really done. Also, the windows were not re-caulked and one board that was loose was not repaired properly. I would have had him come back out to fix the issues, but I am selling my house and did not have time. I fixed the issues myself. That all being said, Harvey was very responsive and got the job done quickly, which is what I needed.

We were very pleased with the service. The contractors showed up on time and were courteous and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond in pressure washing, repairing and painting the house, and even cleaned up very nicely afterward. We would definitely employ this company again.

Harvey was quick to provide an estimate. The price was very reasonable and he even added after market gutter guards. He finished the project in one day with a very professional crew. I would definitely use Master Painters again.

I had left messages for three contractors that I found through Angie's list. Harvey Rogers of Master Painters called me back within hours. He came by that night, reviewed the work needed, and gave me an estimate right then and there (the others took a couple days to get to me, and then another couple to give quotes). Harvey's was the lowest. I called him several days later, after waiting for the other quotes, and he was able to start the following week. He called the day before to confirm and then arrived precisely on time with two workers. He walked them through what was needed and they immediately set to work. He has eagle eyes and they performed to his standards. He came back to check on them the next day and pointed out a few things for them to fix. Now, I consider myself a perfectionist, but this guy was ultraperfectionist. They did what was needed and from then on had his 'perspective' in mind. Throughout, they were prompt, curteous, and extremely professional. They hardly took any breaks - I had to force them to eat lunch. Harvey stopped by at the end of the job to make sure it was up to snuff (it was, of course). They ended up doing the three rooms in three days and it looks FABULOUS!

Work overall was smooth from beginning with the estimate to completion. Three-man crew four full days and two-man crew last two days. Entire job took Monday-Saturday. The bonus came when the owner did a final walkthrough and himself pointed out additional touchup work. Very impressive. Entire experience with positive with only one suggestion ....utilize a vacuum each day to cutdown on paint dust even though they cleaned up each day, the dust was messy other than that one inconvenience excellent work and product. Will use again for exterior.

After finishing a paint job, I asked if they would pressure wash the unit. we set up a date and they arrived on time and were professional. They did a very good job.

I found this company on Angie's list. I decided to use them based on the reviews found here. From beginning to end they were professional and always on time. Took them 3 days to complete the work which was the amount of time he said it would take. The townhouse had dark colors on the wall and we had the place painted off white. looks great and I will use this company again.

This is the second time that I worked with Master Painters. They painted my whole main floor, stairway and upstairs hallway last year. Just like last year, they were very professional, punctual and efficient. They responded quickly to my request for an estimate, and gave me a very reasonable price. I found them very easy to work with and very responsive to my requests. This year, I had them paint my upstairs master bedroom and bathroom. Excellent job! They also were very good about cleaning up afterwards. I have only one room left to paint, but that will have to wait for a while. When I am ready to get it done, I will definitely call them again. I have recommended their services to friends in the past and will continue to do so.

Harvey came out and gave us a bid. Because of the magnitude of the job, each part of the house had to be done in stages. Harvey and his crew were very respectful of our space, and tried their best not to disrupt our lives. They gave us a completion date of early December, and only missed it because of the November storm, and we added on some small projects at the end. Harvey was always most accomodating and cares about what you, the customer want. In fact, I just received a follow up call on Sunday,1/17/2010 asking if anything needed touching up. I have had some bad luck with painters, but Harvey and his crew know what they are doing. We are already planning on having our porched done in the Spring.

Wonderful! Harvey put my mind at ease and was very familiar in dealing with historic homes and structures. He explained everything to me and I could sense confidence and professionalism when he answered my questions. This day and age, oftentimes you get contractors who promise to show up on time and they don't -- well, Master Painters is the exception. Not only did they show up on the day they were supposed to begin -- they showed up 15 minutes early. And Harvey was there at the beginning, middle and end to ensure that the job performance was up to his expectations as a business owner!

Harvey returned my call right away, and was on time to give us an estimate. He gave us great advice on picking out a low VOC paint. He was able to schedule the work within a few days. He thought the job would take a day, or a day and a half. The painters arrived at 9, and were done by 4. They did a great job cleaning up when they were done.Their cost was far below the other estimate we got. The painters were very nice and professional, and did a great job.

They did a really great job. We have wide gutter covers on them. He had to remove them, clean the gutters and put them back. The guy was here for hours and hours. He did a really thorough job. He told us that we had the worst gutters ever. We were pleased with the work. The price was excellent. He came right out.
