Master Painters

We have used them twice, and we will use them again. They are fast, neat, and reasonable-also very pleasant!

This was one of the best experiences I had with a contractor for my home. Harvey and his crew did a wonderful job. i had just purchased a house and was on a very tight schedule to have work done. Master Painters came in on a Thursday and were done by Monday. Harvey and Lorenzo worked on a Saturday for me so that I could keep moving on schedule. I was VERY appreciative of this. Had no problems at all. The work was done first class. Al came out this past Thursday and Friday to finish up some items that were delayed on my part. All is beautiful!! I will definitely be using them again when ready to start the exterior work!!

I should have used Master Painters but I knew of someone here who we used and I was not happy at all. I really liked him. I had six different things to do and he separated all of them. He gave me a breakdown of the price. I also wanted some wallpaper removal so he quoted that separately and I really liked that. It was all written down. He came the very next day I called him, he was on the ball.

Master Painters (Lorenzo) painted a baby nursery in my home. He was very professional, very neat, and the end result is wonderful. Was incredibly quick, but the finished product is very polished and beautiful. Master Painters answered the phone each time I called, was punctual (actually called to come in earlier than scheduled), and very nice to deal with.

Entire experience was great Estimate was provided when promised. Price was amazing. It was a small job that not many companies would have bothered with. I'm still surprised the top rated company in this category took the job. Approx 200 sf of exterior brick with peeling paint and partially removed paint. Master Painters said they would be at my house on Tuesday, they showed up promptly Tuesday morning and finished the job by noon. As previously stated work consisted of scraping peeling paint, priming and repainting bricks.

They did nice work. Had to do 2 coats in 1 bedroom where we had only expected 1 and forgot the trim the 2nd time, but came back and completed the next morning. Harvey was very professional. I would choose them again.

Overall I was pleased with the work, however, when Harvey was not involved some of the painters did not pay as much attention to detail as was expected. Simple things like taking off the door knob and painting versus trying to paint around it, some of the trim,etc. All things were fixed in the end. Some of the extra work was a little pricey compared to the overall cost of the job, the little extra we asked them to do - like repaint a bathroom with a different color than what was originally painted. Also, took a little longer than expected because Harvey had not hired his full crew yet. Harvey was very responsive so that is always a plus - he is very committed to making sure you are happy. I would use them again, but make sure Harvey is involved and provides clear instruction to the painters that do come to work.

Harvey came and gave me a free estimate. He was punctual and professional from beginning to end. They did a very good job and I am very satisfied. I plan to use them again in the near future.

They were the total package. The came when they said they would and the price was very reasonable. They got in and an out and did an exceptional job.

Everything went good. The bedroom looks great but I did find a few problems with my bathroom.

Al did a great job painting the hallway/stairwell. He was very meticulous about covering the banisters and stairs. The job took about 4 1/2 hours. We are very pleased with the results. He did a nice cleanup after the job.

Harvey did a great job, would recommend and use again. He came out to give me a quote the next day on time. He was able to start the work that week as I requested and finished in 2 days. As a landlord is important to find professionals you can use and trust and I am happy I found Harvey.

The work was to take 2 weeks but it took over a week longer due to the failure of the manager to put only one man on a rather large stripping job. The stripping man was very considerate, but it was too much for one & inconvenienced me having to live with people working in my house for more time than necessary. It was a decent painting job but the workers did things pros wouldn't do: painted doors shut twice (after being told 1st time); damaged new bed by not picking up light 4-step ladder high enough twice (after being told 1st time) and didn't cover bed while working close to it, didn't cover new kitchen floor while painting around entrance and dripped on it; started painting metal fixtures on doors inluding latches--stopped that; painted cable outlet making it unusable; left back door open one day. They just didn't seem aware of dos and don'ts pros would know. Manager did his best to make things right, however. Harvey I believe is honest and did his best to deal with me fairly. I thought, however, painters assigned to my job did not have proper training and attention to detail was lacking.

I found Master Painters on Angies List and they had received very good ratings in all aspects. Because of this, I called Harvey for an estimate and we scheduled a time a few days later. He called the day of the appointment to confim our meeting and arrived punctually. His knowledge of paint types and techniques to be used was extraordinary and his years of expertise was very evident. After taking measurements of the home, he provided an estimate while we were there. His quote was very competitive and I knew that we were in very capable hands. We agreed upon a start date and to his word, they started precisely on that day. Harvey and Al's work ethic was admirable and they were very conscious of protecting our floors and appliances while performing the job. They completed the job on schedule and even stayed late into the evening to ensure our satisfacion with the overall project. Master Painters was outstanding in every aspect of the large job that they performed at our home. I would recommend Master Painters to anyone that is looking for a reputable company that provides quality work at competitve prices.

Harvey showed up on time to give an estimate and a start date. The start date got pushed several weeks due to constant rain or very low temperatures. He did a good job on calling and keeping me updated on the weather as well as delaying the work so that it did not get ruined by weather the next day. He showed up on time and did a professional job. The final price was as quoted.

I recently removed all the wallpaper in our kitchen, the next step was adding texture to the plaster walls. Harvey was professional and very knowledgeable; he responded to my calls immediately. He primed the walls and ceiling, then did a knock-down texture, and then primed walls and ceiling again. Our kitchen looks wonderful! I really enjoyed working with Harvey and will definitely use him again in the future.

Harvey came out the day after I called him to give me an estimate. The price was great, and we hired him to complete the painting work. He told me it wold probably be about 2 weeks before they could get to our job, and sure enough, 2 weeks later they were painting my house. The 2 gentlemen that did the painting were very professional and friendly. I knew they would get the job done quickly, but was still surprised that they finished in 2 days! When they were finished, Harvey came to look everything over, and they touched up the few spots that needed it. The walls in each of the areas that they painted look great, and we are very happy with the service that we received.

Master Painters arrived on time, did an outstanding job, very professional and friendly. The inside of our home looks beautiful. I would definitely use them again. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing their services.

Each job (interior and exterior) cost approximately $500 each. The exterior job went pretty well except that it was touch and go for the possibility of rain, and it ended up raining about 10 hours after they finished painting. Everything was fine except for the stairs and they agreed to run over those stairs again when they came back for the interior job. For the interior job, we budgeted for only 1 coat of paint in the living room, but two coats in the dining room and bathroom. The bathroom they did a pretty good job on, but the living room and dining room were very streaking and the light colored paint still showed through. Bottom line was each room needed another coat. This isn't necessarily an issue except for they didn't see it. They considered themselves done and were ready to leave and it wasn't until I inspected the work did I find the issues. They were willing to stay and add another coat on, but I would warn folks that you better inspect their work!! I would recommend them for exterior job, but not for their interior work.
