The man who answered the phone sounded completely unprofessional, took my number to call me back and never returned my phone call. I find it hard to believe that ignoring potential customers earns you over 60 positive reviews on Angie's list.

 + -1 moreI found that the owner, Harvey, was very pleasant to deal with and was punctual and timely in his completion, as I wanted the work done before the pollen season started. He was receptive to coordinating his schedule around my needs and he met all of my expectations.
Description of Work: Last June, they painted my soffits and fascia board in preparation for my new roof. Then, this past March, they came back and painted nine outside railings, eight shutters, and they did my double door garage casement as well.

 + 0 moreThey did call, but they were late. On initial phone contact, lacks professionalism in answering the phone. I referred him to about five other people in my neighborhood that called and scheduled appointments with him, but he didn’t show up on the day he was scheduled and didn’t call them, and because of that I would not use him again in the future.
Description of Work: I used Master Painters to pressure wash the driveway. They also painted a door trim and window shutters.

Description of Work: Mr. Rodgers and his crew painted out a master bath/vanity area, hall and master bedroom. The price included two coats of paint. The entire project took approximately 3.5 hours to complete. They moved a few pieces of furniture and repositioned them when they were completed. From start to finish it was a professional job accomplished by 'Master Painters'.

 + -1 moreI was able to contact Master Painters very easily and they showed up on time. Paint job was FANTASTIC! The line between the ceiling and walls were STRAIGHT! Much better then I could do over two days and they got the VERY large room done in a matter of hours. We did prep the room before they arrived...filling holes, crackes and removing the wall outlet plates. I would definitely use them again and refer them to my friends!!!
Description of Work: Purchased an Angie's List "BIG DEAL" for Master Painters to paint one room with two coats of paint for $99. I had to purchase the paint. I did not realize (until too late) the room needed a primer coat...so the contractor purchased the primer and charged me for the additional coat of paint at a appropriate price.

 + -1 moreThis was an area which had just had a 3' x 5' old commercial grade fluorescent light box removed, so there was pant build-up in the shape of a rectangle and then inside of it, there had never been any paint applied. He went the extra mile to fill in the valley that the box had created and sand down the build-up (this was a textured ceiling) and then matched the texture. He did a great job and was a man of his word as far as sticking with the quoted price, even after he had to spend so much extra time on it. It looks perfect.

They did all the prep work like moving furniture, removing/replacing outlet covers, touching up small holes in the wall. I am very pleased with the paint job and happily recommend them.

Description of Work: Harvey responded immediatly to my email and phone call. They were on time and completed the work extremely fast. They were so good that I had them come back to do more interior painting. I plan to have them paint the rest of the downstairs this summer. I highly recommend Harvey and his company.

 + 3 moreThey showed up when they said the were going to. They did not paint when there was even a threat of rain. The gentlemen working in and on my house were very courteous to me, my nanie, wife and neighbors. My neighbors, who go through contractors like butter, are getting them to give them a price. I would recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: Master Painters painted our interior hall and stairwell and did a womderful job. There was zero mess. They also powerwashed all the trim in preperation for painting. They painted all the white trim. My home is a replica victorian and has a ton of trim. It was all done and looks wonderful with no messes on my property. They painted all 28 of my windows and they look like new. (they requested they be unlocked each morning, which is what you need to do to paint these windows in their entirity) They replaced wood on my top porch, primed it using the prime recommended by the supplier, used the nails recommended by the supplier, and painted it. It looks like the day we moved into the house.

Description of Work: They painted the kitchen, hallway & 1/2 bath downstairs. For the 1/2 bath, it was covered in wallpaper. They removed the wallpaper and then painted. They did a beautiful job. Their work was great and always checked with me to verify what I wanted done - communication between myself and the painters was excellent.

 + 0 moreCame out and provided an estimate about 30 days prior to my closing on the house. I arranged for the painting to begin on the 6th of October. Contractor came out with his employees and they started work. They completed the work in about a week. They started by removing all wall paper from the rooms. I had about 2100 sq feet painted which required two coats of paint. Estimate was for one coat of paint with a second quote costing 50% more for the room. Crew was great and hard working. No issues with the work. Owner came out 3 times to check on progress. Once at the beginning, middle and at the finish to do a walk through with me for any issues. Any issues I had they fixed.
Description of Work: Painted Interior and removed wall paper. Painted out door doors and shutters. I provided paint for this work.

 + -1 moreWe had an appointment today at 10am so at 11am I gave him a call to see where he was. Very nonchalantly he says to me "are you my 10?" Yes, i said, were you planning on coming to that. Oh, he'd just come out now. No apology, not a big deal to him, he obviously has enough clients that he doesn't have to worry about new ones. Later Update I am very impressed by this person's response. It looks like I may have been having a bad day on the day that I wrote the above. Now it seems as though it were just an honest mistake. None the less that is the way it happened, so I have just bumped up the grades a bit to reflect the professionalism of the response.

 + 0 moreFantastic experience again with Harvey and his crew. They pressure washed our exterior wood siding and deck, waited a day for it to dry, then painted and stained them. They also removed old shutters and painted and installed new ones on the front of the house. Professional job throughout the process and started on the day promised and finished right on time. Clean up during and after was superb. This is the second time we have used Master Painters and would highly recommend them.

 + -1 moreWent very well. This was one of the special deals for one roon painting for$ 99.00 but he said that was just one color. So it cost an extra 25.00 for the two colors.When I first called. I never got a return call for two weeks . Called a second time and got a hold of Mr Rogers and we set up the date and time. They were here when promided. The work was excellant and were were happy with the results.
