Painting the interior of your house CAN be a pleasant experience! Harvey Rogers and his crew were as perfect as human beings can be. I wrote several e-mails to Angie's List contractors mid-afternoon on a Sunday, expecting replies the next morning. Within 30 minutes, Mr. Rogers was on the phone, setting up an appointment. I met with 3 contractors, and his was the lowest bid, by far. Harvey and his men arrived 15 minutes early and worked all day, completing the spraying of walls and ceiling before they quite for the night. One man was back the next morning early and painted all of the woodwork by hand, finishing up after about 10 hours of straight work. Job finished a day ahead of time! The men in the paint crew were wonderful to work with. All of them were constantly cheerful and friendly.

Harvey called within hours of my deal purchase. He confirmed the scope of work. He asked if I would call him the day prior to remind him what was to be done so that he could have the right guys and equipment there. ( I'm not a secretary and barely can keep up with my own things!) Since I did not call him, Harvey called me the night before and again confirmed the scope of work. He determined that because a larger ladder was needed, the price would be $50 more than the "deal" price. (Disappointing.) George arrived on time, or perhaps a few minutes early. He introduced himself and took a quick assessment of the work to be done. He did some minor repair work on a ceiling and set about getting things covered for painting. As the painting progressed, I decided to ask about having the small laundry room adjacent to the kitchen painted. George called Harvey and the price was $125.00 for the laundry room. ( no ceiling.) I paid almost as much for the laundry room, as for the entire kitchen. Regardless, I agreed to the price and George set about getting the job done. He was professional, fast, efficient, and neat. The "B" in quality was based on a few small factors. 1.) A very small piece beside the counter was not painted at all. (approximately 4 inches long and 3 inches wide. 2) A few drops of paint on my white counter. ( took a little buffing but it came out) 3) 2 spots in the laundry room that will need to be covered as they were missed. Overall, I was very pleased with the work George did. He had great lines and edges and overall, the room looks super! If I had it to do over again, I would have either pushed harder on the price, or just waited for another deal, but I would have no problem using this company again.

They were great, dependable and they're super easy to interact with.

Harvey who owns the company called me quickly after leaving a message an came out the same week to give a quote. The quote was a fair price. His team promptly did the work even though rain delayed them. They did their work excellently and with pride. I was very impressed and will use them again!

George showed up on time and was a true professional. Provided material for prep including taping and drop cloth. Painted dining room ceiling, foyer ceiling (covered water stains), and master bedroom ceiling and walls. Provided thorough clean up. Will definitely call Master Painters for future projects and would recommend them to anyone needing quality paint work done. Price based on "Angie's List Deal".

Called quickly and showed up exactly when promised and worked throughout the day until the job was done. Very happy with the work.

My services were done in 2 parts over a long period of time- my planning, not theirs. The first session went very well even though they were called in to finish a job (oil painting a kitchen) abandoned by another painter. The plan was to come back to do inside the cabinets and pantry at a later date, to make the chaos survivable. The second part was not given the attention the exterior of the cabinets had been given and so necessitated a return trip 4 days later, which extended living among the boxes of clutter. Priced as a 2-3 day job, it turned out to be less than one day, with a return trip of about 2 hours. Due to a scheduling over site, the painter did not come the originally scheduled day, but the business owner did adjust the price for the error, and took full responsibility for the error. They are a very likable crew with human characteristics. I would use their service again because I know their capabilities are excellent.

We didn't end up using Master Painters, but would have if my son didn't surprise us with the completed job.

Buying the $99 for 3 Hours of Wallpaper Removal Deal from Master Painters on Angie's List was the best idea I've had this month! My job was scheduled very quickly. Al, from Master Painters, arrived smack on time - which is very unusual as we live far from town and most contractors underestimate the time to get here. The job involved removing wallpaper from a small bathroom with lots of odd wall space and little area in which to work. Al worked without stopping for all three hours and left us with a bathroom cleanly stripped of wallpaper, everything cleaned and tidied up - not a scrap of mess for us to deal with. I couldn't be happier with the job he did. He was very nice, we were happy to have him here with us and I was very impressed with his professionalism and the quality of his work. I will definitely recommend Master Painters to friends and wouldn't hesitate at all to hire them for additional work using any of their services.

We have used them before and the work they performed was top-notch. Though we weren't able to use them this time, we would certainly recommend then to anyone needing interior painting.

Tough job removing wallpaper from plaster. The guy was good and worked hard.

They did such good work that we contracted them to do the whole house painting. They were prompt and came and did the work.

It was a great. The cleanup was fine, but they didn’t put all the furniture back to its original place. They got the job done in about 6 hours.

Went GREAT! Always on time and ready to paint! Second time here for painting! Was going to finish painting/trim work myself an save some money. I WASN'T getting the job done..............Money WELL SPENT!!! In matter of few hours, painting and clean up DONE! House back to normal. EXTREMELY HAPPY! Kevin was my painter the first time, very pleasant, Harvey,of MASTER PAINTERS, sent Kevin back to finish the job!!! YEA! Kevin, ask me to check and see if every thing was OK before he left, he did great! Harvey called the next day to ask how the job went. If there were issues.....None! This is his business and he wants his customers to be happy with job. Highly recommend MASTERS PAINTERS!!

Excellent job, we're thrilled with the total result. Top-notch quality paint job including extensive trim work. Always punctual and courteous. Master Painters treated our home as if it was their own. The service was good. The young man who did the carpentry work we found out was an excellent guy. The service was timely. The job really wasn't that large so they were able to really do it quickly and efficiently. They were able to get in and get the job done. It was only a one man job and he took about six hours pretty much to get the job done and we were satisfied with the results. We got the money's worth that we had paid for that.

It took about 2 months to get someone out here, it was conflict after conflict. We finally set up an appointment for last week. I was home sick, he was supposed to be here at 9 am, at 10:30 am I went to the door and there was a note on it saying they came and no one answered. I was in the living room with my dogs and we heard nothing. When I got in contact with them they said it would be another 2 weeks before they could come back out. I am looking for another company through Angie's List to do the work.

I was pleased with the work done. The painter was polite and professional. The final product was beautiful. I would use this painter again.

Absolutely AWESOME! Harvey as the owner setup our service when we requested and it happened to be a day when snow was inbound. Al showed up right on time and began wallpaper removal, and then repainted our kitchen with paint that Harvey told us to provide. Al had all of the other materials he needed to complete the job. Harvey was super in setting up appointment, and Al made it happen. Even as the snow approached, Al continued with the job (great demeanor, smiling all along) and completed all we had requested. And--no mess at all in the house. I am truly impressed with the quality, professionalism, and superb experience we had with Harvey and Al with Master Painters--we will definitely use them again, anytime!!
