Master Painters

Harvey came out and did a walk through to provide a price. We discussed the level of work needed to convert the woodwork, patch some drywall issues and paint all of the interior walls. The quote was more than fair given the volume of work required and he was able to start the job the following week and estimated 8 days to complete. We decided on colors and coordinated with Harvey to have him come out again to do a walk through because we were using the same color in multiple rooms. He was prompt, courteous, and professional on both visits! No nonsense, no upsell, just the facts! Once things were locked in, we did as much prep for them as possible, removing all of the nails and screws from the walls and removing light and receptacle plates from the walls. We also wiped down the walls since we had no idea what may have been on them. They arrived promptly the first day and each subsequent day. After the first day I knew we had made the right decision! They did great work and did not hesitate to call if they had any questions since we were not on site for the duration of the job. Once the bulk of the painting was completed, we realized that one accent wall was just off in terms of color so we asked if they could redo it and Harvey easily agreed with our understanding that it would require another gallon of paint and or course the labor to redo it because it was out error. The job was completed in 5 days with a 6th day for a walk through and touch up of a few spots that we identified. Harvey did his own thorough walk through and identified a few additional touch ups. We were happy to see that he took the time to do this since he knows what to look for more so than we do. The work was quality and we would definitely hire them again! The key is to know what you want and make sure you communicate it with them clearly. We had a few minor adjustments along the way but all in all it was an excellent experience. Harvey obviously takes pride in a job well done!

We had as much prep completed prior to his arrival so we could knock out four rooms in a six hour period. He was able to complete two bathrooms, still have lines from old paint and we ended up completing two of the rooms ourselves. if they needed more time or would have offered to do the job better we would have been happy to pay. The problem was we were booked with one painter that didn't have the ability to say exactly what he was going to complete and wasn't authorized to ask for additional time or offer additional support. This was nothing but a hassle from the return call to booking and we ended up doing half of the work and needed to fix some of his work in the bathroom's. I believe that it would be better to come to the house prior to review what is being requested and then set reasonable expectations from a customer. This service only caused us to add additional work to an already tight schedule. We would have been more than happy to pay for additional time, additional painters but were not given the option. Basically we were told we purchased a cheap package through Angie's List and this was the level of service we were going to be offered. Too bad we needed four other rooms in the house painted and had a house we were moving out of that needed painting from top to bottom. We purchased the package on Angie's List to find a trusted painter. We simply did not find the quality of service required with this company.

We love them. They were absolutely fabulous. They were so nice and did a great job. The service went perfect. They price was good.

Harvey organized a great crew that paid pretty good attention to detail, and performed everything we'd asked for. The final result was wonderful and it was worth every penny. They took several weeks (prior to a move-in, where things were slightly easier because of no furniture), and painted all the trim, walls, ceilings, baseboards, This included skylights and a 16 ft ceiling in the family room. When we were withing a day or two of his estimated completion date - a schedule which he adhered to - Harvey did a quality check and wasn't happy with some areas he observed (that I missed)m, and had his team revisit and correct. When all was done their cleanup was pretty thorough, and we moved in on time with no muss or fuss. I will used Master painters again for either inside of outside work!

The painter Kevin, arrived early to my home to begin the process. He was professional, super nice and very good at his job. We chatted for most of the day while he worked as I'm pregnant and unable to move around much. It didn't phase him at all, nor did it seem to distract him from the painting. He brought all of his own equipment and I only had to provide the paint. I was extremely satisfied with the paint job he did and the scale of what he was able to accomplish during that 8 hours. During the morning, he had to go buy some more painters tape but made sure to have me note the time and subtract it from the 8 hours the deal promises. After the walls were painted, he cleaned up and touched up the spots for me that I wanted touched up, even wiped a few spots from my wood floors to make sure it wasn't paint. My room looks amazing and it's obvious that it was done by a professional. I would use them again and I would ask for Kevin every time.

The estimator was cordial when I requested an estimate and showed up on time. Upon arrival, we discussed the painting of the exterior of my home and it's trim including replacing the caulking. He discussed the options with me including full replacement of the caulking or caulking over top. I found the estimate to be fair and reasonable. I plan to use their service in the near future after I have some other repairs made.

On the day of my initial call, we were not able to schedule the paint job for a few weeks, probably because of demand due to the special. Once scheduled, I called several times to be sure I had the right date and time, and a few adjustments were made. They answered the phones or messages promptly. The work was exceptional and completed entirely in one day. We were especially impressed with the quality of the trim work. We would definitely use them again.

My initial contact was thru a deal on Angie's List. A company representative responded in a timely manner and set up an appointment to survey the property and determine what needs to be done. At the initial meeting, I was told that it would be about a month before the house could be painted. Since I was in no rush, the timing was fine. Due to the amount of rain that occurred in late March and April, the actual job was delayed for another three weeks. I did call the company to determine the timeline and was informed that they would get to me in May. The job was done in May and was of good quality. My one suggestion would be that a company representative contact customers when weather delays affect scheduling. Otherwise, I am totally pleased with their workmanship.

We found Master Painters here on Angie's List. We purchased one of their deals and had them paint our living and dining rooms. Their quality of work, timeliness and professionalism are OUTSTANDING. We hired them again to paint a bathroom and bedroom with the same results. No complaints here.They are very quick to respond and they do fantastic work. We plan to use them again in the near future.

Bought this as a deal through Angie's List. Due to the popularity of the deal, I had to wait almost a month for an appointment. But other than the wait, everything else went smoothly. The pressure washing took about 3 hours and Al, the gentleman who showed up, did a very good job. House exterior looks all clean again. Highly recommend.

My experience was excellent. He finished the job in one day. He was very professional and efficient. He did not waste any time and kept to himself. I was very pleased with them.

The wallpaper removal went really well! The only issue was that they required us to call and give them a reminder the day prior to the work. The employee that came out did a great job, but my wife actually helped out as well so they could get it done in the time allotted by the Deal.

Team showed up on time and ready to work. Harvey showed up with crew and made sure everything was clear with us. George and "Fish" were great, professional, friendly, good at what they do. We had already moved the furniture and taken everything off the walls and blinds from windows but they patched and sanded. We have chair rails and crown molding along with painted fireplace, everything came out great! We needed an extra coat on some of the rooms we hadn't planned on, they had no issues with staying the extra time, and gave us a great price to boot. Great experience.

It went really well. Master Painters was very professional and cordial. I had to order additional services because the staff was knowledgeable enough to know that the original builder used an oil based paint on the trim in our home so it had to be primed with an oil based primer and then painted with the paint I purchased. He stated that he did not want to paint over the oil based paint because it would come right off and I would not have been happy with the job once completed. So, Harvey, the owner, came out the same day to give me an estimate as to the additional cost to prime the trim and repaint. The painter that came out on the first day ran out of paint and it was no fault of his own. He was kind enough to go to the paint store and pick up an additional can of paint since I had little ones at home and was unable to leave. The painter also knew that I would need an additional can of paint and said that anytime you paint for the first time after the original builder's paint, it absorbs much of the paint and an additional can would be needed. I asked her if I needed an additional can of paint but she assured me that one can would be enough. So, that was very good information to know. I wish the lady at the paint store would have asked that question. That is good to know if you are painting for the first time after the original paint. Another day had to be scheduled for the primer and paint to be done and it was scheduled for the next business day which made things very easy for me since I didn't have to leave the house in disarray for too long. This cost was $247.50 in addition to the $199 Angie's List Big Deal. The second painter came out on Monday to prime and paint and finish the rest of the job. The only thing I would recommend to Harvey would be to try and keep the same painter on the job so that the paint job is consistent. But, both gentlemen were very nice and professional. We were satisfied with the work. We called Harvey a second time to come out to get an estimate on doing some exterior painting but have not yet scheduled that job at this point.

When I contacted them, the owner got back with me quickly. I did say that when he had a crew member come out, I wanted to have an estimate for additional work, but only the worker arrived to the appointment. The painter showed up on time, did a good job, and cleaned up well after the work was complete. I thought that they did a good job overall. The only thing is that the owner never got back with me to provide an estimate on additional work.

Great job. We will certainly consider him for our next service.

They were excellent. It was great cost. Their price was very reasonable. They did the job that we discussed. The workmanship was great. The work team was very friendly, cordial and great to have in the house. They did a great job with the popcorn ceiling. The owner returned our phone call the same day which we greatly appreciated. He came out the next day to do the estimate and that very same day we set up the date for painting. He filled us in all the details. Like I said, the work team itself was very polite. They cleaned up after themselves greatly. Finally, the owner, who oversees everything, he came by on the last day to make sure that the work was done to our satisfaction. It was great price, great work and very professional.

Master Painters were very professional. They showed up on time, put paint cloths down,although there were very few drips, and completed the job in a day. i would highly recommend them and will use them again.

Painter arrived on time and ready to work. He got right to it, taking care to protect floors and carpets. He was friendly, courteous and totally professional. His work and clean-up were immaculate. We will definitely use Master Painters again.

The prep work and clean up were both excellent. They did what they said were going to do and were on-time.
