Master Painters

The painter, Lorenzo, arrived perfectly on time, was very pleasant and courteous, did not take a lunch break, and finished the painting in one day as requested. He also cleaned up carefully after finishing painting and wanted to be very sure that all work had been completed as we desired. Excellent painter and very nice person.

Overall i was pleased and would recommed Masters Painters. The $199 for 8 hour deal is a great price. We had a three-walled living room painted with two coats, as well as a bedroom painted with two coats, and the bedroom closet with one coat. "L", the painter, was very experienced and needed very little equipment besides a good brush and a roller. I was mildly disappointed that we did not receive a confirmation email/call the day before the paint job, but when i called that morning they verified he was on his way. NOTE: painter will likely expect a tip.

I am needing to get my house painted before the weather turns bad. I have found that he is never on time, that I can't get in contact with him and that his answering machine is full. They came yesterday after 12:30 pm as I had requested. I was expecting them here this morning around 9am and they haven't shown up.

I provided the paint for the service. The gentleman who did the painting was top notch. He was professional and polite the entire time and did an excellent job painting and cleaning up when he was finished. I couldn't be happier with the work performed and would not only use this company again in the future, but recommend them to family and friends. The cost of painting was an excellent value for the service provided.

Outstanding service. I purchased the "Painter for a Day" deal for $199, which allows for a full 8-hour day with a painter. I received a nice discount at Sherwin-Williams for using Master Painters. Scheduling was a breeze and Harvey gave great customer service. Lorenzo, my painter, arrived 10mins early. Lorenzo is THE MAN. He is friendly, 100% professional, and an excellent painter. He painted the whole space (which is fairly large) well within the 8-hour time frame. I had to leave to run a few errands and he ensured that my house would be safe and that no one would be let in. He also insisted on locking all doors when he left. His work is absolutely flawless. The room looked nice with only 1 coat of paint but he insisted on using 2 coats to make sure it would look perfect after it completely dried. His attention to detail is immaculate. He even put the switch covers back on before he left. I felt 100% secure with him in my house and he did an amazing job. I will be using this company (and hopefully Lorenzo!) again, that is for sure.

Master painters did a very good job. The crew (three men) was punctual, pleasant and efficient. They were very helpful in moving furniture and putting it back exactly as I wanted. They did a good job of cleanup as well. I am quite pleased with the total painting experience and would recommend Harvey Rogers and Master Painters to my friends and neighbors.

I accidentally read the description of the deal wrong. I though it was for exterior painting but it is only for interior. The gentlemen was nice in explaining this to me.

It was good. They sent one person out to do the job. The painter was great and he did what he needed to do and more. He also repaired the walls where needed. The cleanup was great and I didn’t have to do anything.

Great job. Two days of work -- showed up on time ready to work. Very friendly and professional. Owner came by at end of job to ensure work was completed satisfactorily.

No complaints. The painter showed up each day on time. He recommended a better type of paint for the hand railing which turned out to be a time saver for me on his painting an my own trim touchups later. Only very minor issue would be a few paint drips that dried on the walls. The owner honored the deal hourly rate for the painting work that took longer than 8 hours which was very much appreciated.

They came out and did the painting for us. He painted our kitchen and a hallway; we supplied the paint. One painter came out and Lorenzo was great. He was friendly, professional, he did the job quickly and efficiently. I was very pleased with the service.

We were pleased with every aspect of Mr. Roger's work on our home. He gave us a very fair estimate and managed to complete the specified work several days ahead of schedule (in spite of his discovery of a large yellow jacket's nest which necessitated removal by an exterminator). He did an exceptional job power-washing some of the heavily mildewed sections. His painters reflected his work ethic and were diligent and very professional. They were careful not to spill paint on the shrubs or grass, thoroughly picking up after themselves each day. Most importantly, they painted the house extremely well -- we could not be more pleased. We would not hesitate to employ them again for interior painting or repainting the exterior in the future. We recommend them without reservation!

Arrived on time. Set up material to protect other surfaces. Did first coat. Showed us how the first coat, using a light white paint didn't completely cover the darker prior paint. Made himself available for a second coat that day. Did it. Entire job completed in a half day, including cleanup afterwards. Great job.

They took extra care to scrap and caulk where necessary and were very careful to protect my plants and patio. The entire crew was very professional. Of course, the date I selected, it was hot and humid but that crew never stopped. They were persistent and finished the job in good time with wonderful results.

Harvey was very prompt in scheduling the painting of our house. The rooms in our house are large and the prices charged for the quantity and quality were very good. We were very pleased with Harvey and the two painters that did the work. They were all very friendly, courteous and prompt. They did an excellent job on every room. They were quick and did a thorough job with the cleanup every day and at the end of the project. Master Painters comes with our highest recommendation for value, service and an excellent, professional job.

IN TWO HOURS TIME THE JOB WAS DONE AND WE ARE MORE THAN HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS. THEY WERE SO VERY TIDY AND SO PROFESSIONAL. IT WAS A PLEASURE DOING BUSINESS WITH MASTER PAINTERS AND WE WILL CERTAINLY USE THEM AGAIN.

From the time I bought the $199 Angie's List deal to the completion of the job, the entire process went smoothly which, based on previous reviews, is exactly what I expected. I have a lot of wallpaper to remove in my home and repainting to be done, but I wanted to start with a small job so I ordered the $199 for 6 hours of wallpaper removal. The individual doing the work showed up 15 minutes early (maybe not ideal for some, but perfect for me), and started working to prep the room immediately. Within 10 minutes the owner showed up to make sure things got of to a good start and to provide me a quote for the other areas I want to have completed. I have wallpaper that's been up for probably 30 years over drywall...which lends itself to some amount of wall damage when it's being removed. However, they got all the paper off with minimal damage. I was very please with the work, and also satisfied with the quote for the remaining work. Neither the $199 job nor the quote for the remaining work includes wall "repairing", which is the skim coating and preparing the walls for painting once the wallpaper is down. The owner provided a separate hourly quote for these repairs, since there is no way to know in advance how much repair work will be required until the wallpaper is actually removed. This approach seem very reasonable to me. Great experience!

I feel that I didn't get my moneys worth. I think the owner of the business did a good job in trying to fit me in the schedule during a time of the week I'm available since he said that they don't come out on weekends and I will be traveling some days during the week in upcoming weeks. The gentleman that came was pleasant but he spent 7 1/2 hours painting my kitchen ceiling, a very small powder room, foyer, and half the kitchen. I still have the rest of my kitchen, stairwell, and a hallway to complete. I wish he could have at least completed all of the job in the kitchen. He took a lunch break and I lost this time because he didn't stay longer to make up this time. Also, he started packing up his materials 15 minutes before my service hours were up. Technically I still have 45 minutes which he could have used to paint more of my kitchen. The quality was good not excellent. I noticed some paint drips and some paint on my base boards. He also seemed to lack some of his supplies. He asked me if I had tape to tape down the drop cloth to the floor. It makes me wonder if he avoided the rest of my kitchen because he didn't have painters tape to prep the space. This is the first review I've given on Angies List that I've had anything negative to report. I was actually surprised at the service.

Despite a communication error, the job was done in the 8 hours allotted for the Big Deal. If you can request a particular painter, request Al - he was extremely courteous and worked hard the entire time. Thanks for a very pleasing experience, I will definitely call you in the future!

It went great. The painting job went well but there were some things I had to point out to them as they went (missed spots). They did take care of those things when I pointed them out though.

Very professional, thorough, competitively priced and will definitely use them again. Harvey came out on a Saturday for the walk through and estimate. He said he'd have someone available to begin on Wednesday morning. Two painters, Al and Rashad, showed up right on time and went straight to work. I told them not to worry about getting paint on the carpet, as it was being replaced soon anyway. Being true professionals, they said they "don't cut corners" and laid the drop cloths down anyway. Impressive! Rashad and Al worked well as a team on day one and George joined Rashad on day two. All three were punctual, friendly, and very good painters. Professionals. Overall quality of work was exceptional. Of note was the cutting in of a very straight ceiling line and around all the trim. Rashad was kind enough to clean up my amateurish attempt at the ceiling line in the master bath. It looks so much better now. They came in, got the job done, cleaned up and finished in two days. Yes, would highly recommend Master Painters.

Harvey and his guys were the highlight of my entire house project. My wife and I had just finished doing a major home addition which had lots of ups and downs, and Harvey showed up and really impressed us from the beginning. He was willing to meet with us and gave us some great advice on what to use for the exterior in terms of brand of paint and the type. We could definitely tell that he knew his trade very well. His price was very reasonable and extremely competitive with others that I spoke with. And the guys that showed up to do the work were really nice and thorough. When they first came to pressure wash they did our wood steps in the back just as a nice gesture which we really appreciated - it made a huge difference! Also, months after the paint job was done, we noticed stains on our roof. We thought it was weird that we hadn't noticed it before, but we asked Harvey to stop by since we assumed it was stains from the painters. Harvey was good enough to come out to the house and after checking it out determined it was left over glue from the workers who did the addition. Like I said, the house project had its ups and downs. In any case, my wife and I were really impressed that Harvey took the time to look at our house after he had already completed the job months prior and to make sure it wasn't his guys that did it. We felt super bad for having him come back but he clearly didn't mind helping us out one bit. In summary, I won't be using anyone for any paint job other than Master Painters. Harvey is the best painter you can get at a very reasonable price!
