Master Painters

After reading countless reviews, on multiple painting companies, we decided to hire Master Painters. I called Harvey, and he answered the phone and subsequently arranged the consultation appointment. So often, now a days, calls go directly to voicemail and sometimes, unreturned. Harvey promptly came to our home for the initial consult, and not only provided a quote, but additionally, took the time to thoroughly educate us about paint and the process. He has a vast amount of experience and knowledge, and a desire to ensure that the customer is well informed and satisfied with the outcome. He is detail oriented. All of the painters worked diligently. The work was performed in an organized manner. They arrived to the home, on time, every time. They were pleasant and polite. At the end of each day, they cleaned the surrounding areas, in which they worked. Harvey routinely came to the house. He took an active role in supervising the work. His interactions with his crew, lead to the impression that they maintain a very good working relationship. While here, on two separate occasions, Harvey brought to our attention, a problem that required immediate action, unrelated to painting. He could have easily said nothing, since the problem had nothing to do with painting. Yet, he even took the time to explain in detail, what was occurring. He also helped us with another painting matter, that was not included in the home. He spent many hours on the site. The job was completed in a very timely fashion. We were treated very fairly on the price.

It went smashingly well! I will hire him again; and my neighbor wants to use him as well!

He did a good job partly, he left some swaggering places that he shouldn't have and he didn't get the paste off. We had to scrub on the wall to get the paste. All he did was strip off the wall paper and I could have done that very easily. He didn't take the full time that I had paid for so he could have used that time to take the paste off. He was a very polite and pleasant man but he didn't complete the job. It was overpriced, what he did was not worth the price. I expected the $199 big deal price to take care of everything, getting the past off the wall and all that stuff but he didn't do that. I would say he was overpriced for what he did. Stripping the paper was easy, I could have done that, in fact I have done that for a couple of other rooms, no problem at all. What he did was very easy to do. He didn't do the hard work but I hired him for that. I didn't realize what he had not done before he left. I didn't say anything to him about what he hadn't had done because I didn't realize it until actually he had gone. He was there on time. He was very professional. I had extra time that he didn't use up. There was no extra cost involved.

Our home was the neutral beige, and it was driving me crazy. I chose the colors I was looking for for a bathroom, kitchen, dining room, and guest room. My husband handled the actual appointment, but everything he told me and everything I saw showed true professional work of high quality.

A less experienced painter came out to perform the work and complained that we had not taken down the blinds or removed outlet covers, but I was never advised that we needed to prior to service date. He did a pretty good job and completed 2 small bedrooms (walls & ceilings) and a small 1/2 bath (walls & ceilings). He did not put outlet covers back on or blinds. Only 1 small spot of wall paint on trim. I did not receive any type of follow up call to check on service. I am happy with the amout of work for the money and the quality of the job was overall good.

Excellent job. Team was on time, and very professional. Job was completed early. All calls were returned in timely manner.

Harvey was on time for estimate and gave me a very realistic start and finish date. Came out the last day to review work and make sure I was happy. He and his guys did great work. House looks fabulous.

The painter was nice and friendly, had a great work ethic. Only problem was a bit of confusion on the arrival time, so he was a late but stayed late to complete the job. Overall, a good job and I will call them again!

They were very professional (we had two different workers - one for wall paper removal and a different man for painting), arrived on time and made sure I was happy with the result before they left.

I love it! Master Painters returned calls promptly and arrived as scheduled. They were able to fit my schedule. My paint color was confirmed prior to the job. It turned out exactly has I had hoped. I can't say enough good things!

It was okay. It just took a long time for then to get out here. They didn't do as well of a job as I would have liked. It served it's purpose for the time. It's not like they got up underneath stuff and everything. It wasn't as clean as I hoped it would be. Professionally, I think they would have been able to be out here quicker than they were but we weren't here when they came so I didn't meet any of them or anything.

I am going to have to have him return to finish the job - stated he would need about 2 more hours , so he will return tomorrow july 14,2015 at 9 :00 am, the two hours at an additional cost of $33.00 per hour. it is more than I expected to pay.

Lorenzo arrived right on time (actually a few minutes early) and went right to work. This was not an easy task, but he did not complain. Except for a short lunch, he worked continually for 6 hours. He was professional, pleasant, and an extremely hard worker. I was so pleased that he was the master painter assigned to my job because I had read several wonderful reviews about him. They were an “A”. I thought they were very good. We actually had them scheduled last year and we were the one who kept outing it off because we were doing work to the house and were putting on sidings so we wanted to wait until all those things were done until we have them do it. The day that my wife called them, we set up a time and they came on time and he did an excellent job. He was very agreeable and did an excellent job. I think it was just the cost of the big deal which is $149.

He showed up early, did a very professional job. I had my carpets cleaned the day before, so I was a little nervous, but he taped everything off, and didn't get one drop of paint on the carpet! It looks excellent!

I had two rooms that needed wallpaper border removal. It took almost 30 minutes for the machine to heat up. In two hours he was able to finish one room, but didn't get to the other room. Didn't notice after first, but afterwards, i have water or glue stains coming down the walls. Also had small gouches in the wall, where the border was.

Painter that came was very good, fast and completed the work on time .

Our painter, Rashaad, was terrific. He was prompt, professional and a pleasure to have in our home. His work was very nicely done. Harvey, the owner, was equally courteous and flexible with scheduling. We definitely recommend this company.
