I recently had my house cleaned by MaidPro House Cleaning in VA. I was really surprised how well the two ladies cleaned my apartment. I saw that they also service MULTIPLY AREAS. My mom is really hard to buy gifts for so I thought this would be a great idea. I bought her a GIFT CARD to get her house to be cleaned for her birthday. She wasn't sure about the gift at first but was very surprised how efficient the cleaners were. They cleaned the base boards, polished the wood floors, and steam cleaned her carpet. The quality of work was fine. but had troubles with them showing up on the right day. Along with not being consistant on requests, several times they did not clean 2 rooms stating that the doors where close, even though I had called and emailed requesting that these rooms still be cleaned, and I still got charged full price for these visits. overall they just weren't very consistant.

Being surprised by company for last Thanksgiving after being ill left me scrambling to try to really clean home. I left a phone message and was called back within the hour! (as opposed to the Newport News branch which never called back after several messages over the summer) We had a delightful conversation and was given a better price point than I expected, just in case she had a cancellation and she would schedule me in. I will probably call her back later this spring to actually meet her crew. The B for overall experience is only because I haven't had the opportunity to use the services yet. I expect that will change after an appointment.

We were very happy with MaidPro. I was very disappointed to discontinue using them, but economic situations caused us to cancel. If we every do use a maid service again, it will only be MaidPro.
Description of Work: MaidPro thoroughly cleaned my 2900sqft house twice a month for almost a year. They would do anything extra I asked, such as change sheets, clean out refrigerators, etc. They have a checklist chart that they will leave with you to show what they have done. If I ever felt like something was not cleaned, they would come back for a reclean.

If you need to reschedule, it is not a problem. Reminders are given via both phone and email. The office always follows up with an inquiry about service wanting your feedback. on cleaning services performed. I did report a problem and was given a substantial discount on their charge. In subsequent visits, there have been no complaints. I am very happy with MaidPro.
Description of Work: They have a check list for each room and leave it for you to review. Everything is wiped down or dusted, floors are mopped or vacuumed. If you want the bed linens changed, you just leave a fresh set out. I particularly like the way the kitchen and baths are cleaned. Everything is always spotless.

We get our house cleaned every 2 weeks by MaidPro. Shannon does a great job, the house always looks and smells great. She is prompt, courteous and friendly and we will continue to use their services. Every cleaner that has come has been very well trained and professional. The staff at the office is very responsive and aims to please. Any issues with scheduling that I have had due to travel or guests has been accommodated with a great attitude. They are wonderful to work with and my house is a lot cleaner than it would be if I were doing it! I love Maidpro day!

I called the main office for information on purchasing a gift certificate for a friend who is going through chemo and unable to keep up with her housework as she would like. I inquired about the products that would be used. Certain smells make my friend queasy. I was assured that MaidPro uses cleaning supplies that would be safe. The young lady from Maid Pro arrived on time and did a fantastic job. My friend was so pleased she signed up for regular cleaning. I think it says a lot that a company can go into the home of someone who is not feeling well and clean efficiently without causing any discomfort to that person.

I have used this company for over a year. My last clean was when I moved out, which happened to fall on the worst possible day...the day that Hurricane Sandy came to town. I was thinking what am I gonna do..surely Maid Pro isnt going to come out and clean today. I could not believe it when I got a phone call that morning, telling me that they were still coming out to clean!! I was shocked! They saved the day for me, in the middle of a hurricane. I have always had wonderful services from this company..the cleaners have always been polite, worked hard, and always did all the extras I asked for. Any time I needed to change my day or time...they took care of it with no questions. Only once did I have a problem, and the office staff called me...took care of it immediately, and I was completely satisfied. They even gave me a discount on my next clean as an added bonus for my trouble. I cannot say enough about how well I was treated by this company. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for quality, customer service, and total satisfaction.

Overall, the experience was ok. When I called in to get the estimate, I spoke with Mandy, who was very pleasant. In fact, everyone I spoke with on the phone was very pleasant. Mandy took down my cell and office number to have the girl cleaning the house give me a call when she was on her way, so I could meet her at the residence. The girl called Monday morning (the day of service) and let me know she would be at the home at 9:00am. She finally arrived at 9:20am, saying there was traffic... which at that time of morning, I can understand. I walked her around the house and asked her to focus on the kitchen and bathroom, and left her to begin her cleaning. A few hours later, I received a call from their office stating that they would need to spend an additional hour or two cleaning because there was more furniture than we discussed (which was absolutely true) and that the girl had seen two cockroaches in the back room of the house. I said that was fine, and did not speak with the office again until the next day. Tuesday morning, I drove to the house to check and see how everything turned out. I was shocked when I walked in the home. Now, let me just say that this home was definitely not your typical home to clean. There was no power, so she was unable to clean a couple rooms... and it definitely needs a LOT of TLC which someone would not be able to take care of in three hours. So I was not expecting the house to be perfect by any means. That was why I specifically asked the girl to focus on the bathroom and kitchen. When I walked in, the floors and baseboards looked excellent... unfortunately, it looked like that was what she spent the entire time cleaning. The kitchen looked like it had not been touched, the countertops were sticky, the sink was not cleaned, and the inside of the oven was not cleaned. None of the furniture in the home had been wiped down at all. When I walked into the bathroom, it was very similar to the kitchen... very obvious that the sink and tub had not be cleaned whatsoever. I did find a checklist that the girl left behind where she marked the items that she had indeed cleaned. There were several items that were not checked off (which she didn't do, so no problem)... however, what really made me angry was that she had marked many things "complete" that were absolutely untouched by her. I made sure to take pictures of everything that looked untouched and quickly called their office. While I complained to a few people in the office that day (everyone was VERY understanding and felt awful for how things turned out), I found a few things out. Apparently, because of the type of cleaning I requested, furniture was not to be done... my fault. Also, when I received the call the previous day about having the girl stay to clean some more, I didn't realize it was going to cost more... they never mentioned it, but I never asked... so once again, my fault. After emailing photos, and talking to everyone, they ended up sending someone out to clean that afternoon... for free. They were eager to do whatever they could to fix the situation, and I absolutely appreciated it. Overall, I think we had some major communication errors. Apparently, the first girl who came to clean said it was much more of an intense cleaning than they had anticipated, which is why many things did not get done. As I stated before, I was completely aware that the house was not exactly the cleanest... however, when I received the call on Monday that the girl needed to stay for an additional hour or two, no one made mention of this "intense" cleaning, I was only told about the furniture and the bugs. Also, I wish the girl did not mark items off of the checklist if she did not do them. And if it was such an "intense" job (which I don't doubt), I really wish someone would have called me that afternoon to inform me that certain things did not get done. I appreciate the office staff very much for working with me on fixing the situation (when I went back to the house on Wednesday, it looked MUCH MUCH better). But as I said, I think we had some major communication errors.
