Excellent.Greg and his father are the consummate professionals. Fine clock repair is an art that takes time to learn and time to execute. A complex clock movement can not be overhauled over night. I trust Lost Time with my Grandfather Clock.

Two months later his son delivered the clock and said it would be $350. I mentioned the $100 discount and he said yes, but that his father had replaced cables and pulleys, and that amounted to an additional $100. He hung the clock, I gave him a check for $350, and he left. Fifteen minutes later the clock stopped working. I tried a couple of times to restart it, but no luck. I called Greg right away and told him the clock kept stopping. He told me he'd be in my area in a week or so and that he'd get back to me. I told him I wasn't happy with the way he just replaced parts and charged me $100 without first letting me know. Also, I thought it convenient how he gave me a $100 discount, but then found a way to charge it back to me anyway. He was very unconcerned about my issues. I had a bad feeling about him having $350 of my money and my clock still not working, so for the first time in my life I put a stop payment on my check - and I'm glad I did. I then waited for Greg to call me about fixing my clock for four weeks. I finally called him to tell him that since I hadn't heard from him that I was going somewhere else. Also, because I was going to have to pay someone else to do what he was supposed to do, his bill would remain unpaid. He began raising his voice and blaming me for his bounced checks because of my check's stop payment. I asked him why he was taking my money when he knew the clock still didn't work. He told me he didn't know the clock didn't work - and I told him that was a lie because I had called him right after the clock was delivered and we had talked about when he could come back to set things straight. Lousy service. Lack of professionalism. Integrity issues.
Description of Work: Picked up my antique wall clock for service. Gave me an estimate of $250 (which included a $100 discount for being a return customer) and said it would be three weeks.
