They did an excellent job. They were very professional and quick with the repair to an engagement ring.

We contacted Long's on Shore Drive and they were available for an appraisal that day. They did the sorting on the spot and the appraisal was ready the next day. I also left some of my jewelry that I wanted to sell with them and in 3 days, they made an offer which I thought was fair.

Although there were a thousand way this experience could go wrong, the results were by far most outstanding and I believe it couldn't have turned out better. The salesperson was not only friendly but patient and on pure luck and gamble on my part (due to my lack of knowledge and indecisiveness) I decided to trust in her decisions with an extremely important piece of my wife's keepsake. The piece was a simple gold chain with one existing diamond (my wife's original wedding band diamond). We purchased another diamond from another jeweler on vacation to replace the existing wedding band diamond and wanted to add the replaced diamond to the necklace. I wanted to have 4 diamonds that represent each of the five years that we've been married (three on the necklace and one on the wedding band) so I was one diamond short. The salesperson assisted me in looking for a pendent and after some "well it's ok, but..." she decided that what I was looking for wasn't in the showcase but described it to me and explained it fit the description I was looking for. On a leap of faith I decided to go along. It was also a very reasonable price. The additional diamond was also left up to the salesperson to pick out and she did a fabulous job with good thought behind it. The result was matching the quality of the other diamonds and the size was matched as well to create a snow man shaped set. When picking out the pendant salesperson made two other decisions (on her own after unsuccessful attempts to contact me) that made a huge decision in the end result. One was choosing a silver color over yellow gold. This in my opinion was the pivotal choice in a "Ok" result and a "Oh WOW" result. The necklace is yellow gold and the original pendent was yellow gold but she felt the silver pendent would bring out the shine of the diamonds especially using the choice of pendant and she was sooooo right. Had I been given the chance, I would have (and wrongly) chosen yellow gold. The other was after some examination, the salesperson suspected that the supplying diamonds were worth a considerable and decided to have it appraised. She was right yet again and the appraisal came back much much higher than either my wife and I expected. The final result was amazing (and this from a guy). They gift wrapped it for me in a nice box and wrapped it in nice wrapping paper with bow. I was so excited that I took it immediately over to my wife's work and surprised her with all her friends and co-workers. She no doubt loved it and I can't thank Long Jewelers enough!

Excellently. All services were performed while I waited and prices were free to reasonable. Sales people were attentive, courteous, knowledgeable, and responsive.
