The job went fine at first. Jerry came out and checked the pH and did some spot treating of weeds. A few weeks later, Jerry and crew of two, I think, showed up and got the de-thatching, aerating and seeding done. We discussed the plan to over-seed in another two weeks and then another fertilization in six to eight weeks. We planned to do some re-trenching in February and treat for weeds after 12-14 weeks. I must have called at least 20 times over the period of the past eight months and was only able to speak with Jerry once or maybe twice. He was away for a while in the winter, which is understandable, but I really wanted to get the agreed-upon work completed. I had some drainage work done and a trench had to be dug. That contractor's re-seeding never really took, so I wanted LawnPro to address that over the winter as well. A week or so after getting a hold of Jerry in early spring, they came out and aerated and seeded that area for me. While aerating they broke one of my in-ground sprinkler heads. I don't think any pre-emergent was applied, as that area is pretty well over-taken by weeds and crabgrass. It has been incredibly frustrating dealing with this company. I have asked explicitly, whether they wanted to continue servicing my property and practically pleaded for someone to call me back, so I could make other arrangements as necessary. Nothing. I called as recently as a couple weeks ago and then again just prior to posting this review to discuss trenching and mulch (approximately 14 yards plus some stone and edging), once again, no call back. I wound up hiring another company. One of the huge draws to this company, for me and my wife, was the use of pet-friendly chemicals and treatment. Also, I really thought a lot of Jerry. Unfortunately, the feelings must not have been mutual, as LawnPro apparently did want anything to do with us. I don't feel we received the service we hoped for or expected or paid for. And now, we are playing catch-up, trying to get the weeds under control and our lawn looking decent. I am very disappointed.
Description of Work: We hired Jerry and crew to evaluate, apply pre-emergent, de-thatch, aerate and over-seed our yard. Approximately 8,000 sq. ft. Follow-up work to be done was another spot over-seeding and two fall fertilizations which I assume would have had more pre-emergent weed application (six to eight weeks after initial treatment).

They have done such solid service, week-in, week-out, on the basic lawn service that I've come to take them very much for granted. That's not entirely fair, since I'd had less than satisfactory service from two the companies I had tried before hiring Lawn Pro. Right now I'm looking at the new azaleas they've finished putting in. The new beds are nice and neat. We had a good discussion before agreeing to any work about what I liked and disliked about the existing plantings. The work was completed within a few weeks of our agreeing to it and stretched over just under a week's time. It was done with minimal fuss and bother. They took two days to tear out the old shrubs, another day to remove the debris. A few days later, the new shrubs were delivered, stored overnight on my back patio, and planted the next day. I'm very pleased with the results. These folks do really nice work.
Description of Work: I have used this company for regular lawn mowing & trimming and hedge clipping for more than 5 years. Recently had them replace a number of overgrown shrubs and rebuild the beds in the front of my house.

The workers were very professional when they came here and they were always polite. I am not really sure that I actually got the results that I looked for, but maybe I need to just allow more time. The price was also pretty reasonable so I really can't complain. Overall, they did a good job.
Description of Work: I have my lawn seeded, aerated and fertilized.
