+ -1 moreWorst contractor experience I've ever had. The pond leaked even before it was completed. Stuart Chesson demanded his money or refused to anymore work. We gave him his money and they finished but till this day (5 months after) install the pond is still leaking. Not only that Stuart is rude, nasty and completely unprofessional. When you are cussing and ridiculing customers you have no reason to do business, period. We contacted Stuart to come out to fix the leak only to get told that we would get charged $250 with no guarantees. Stay away from this guy and this business or you will suffer the same problems me and the other two reviewers posted on here.

+ -1 moreThey did a good job cleaning the pond out, but a leak developed in the waterfall after they finished. I contacted them immediately, to which they didn't respond. After another attempt, I was told they would take care of it, but haven't heard from or seen them, so I will have to call someone else out to take care of the leak they created. Additionally, I never received a receipt from them, which I was told I would get via email, but do have a cancelled check for the clean out. Initially I gave them a good review, but unfortunately had to change it due to this experience. Not a good way to do business.

+ 0 moreWorst contractor experience I have ever had. Koizilla has downsized and may end up going out of business - but may regenerate as something else, be careful out there. They do pools and decks not just ponds. Avoid Stuart Chesson and any company he runs.
Description of Work: Almost exactly like the other post, concerning Koizilla. Don't even consider these people for anything including supplies or maintenance. I had a Koi pond that I decided to have removed. The owner Stuart Chesson came by to estimate the cost of removal. He told me $3200, but would give me a $500 credit if I would give him a concrete sculpture near the pond. I agreed. I was required to give them $1500 for them to get started. They removed my 10 very large Koi and I was told he would sell them for $800 give me 1/2 and the other 1/2 would go to the SPCA in my name. Never happened. The workmen began the removal process completing approximately 1/2 of the job. The owner of Koizilla then stopped work and said that he would need an additional $900 ($3600 cash plus the sculpture) to complete the job. When I refused, he came to the house took pictures, was aggressive, argumenative, abusive and threatened to sue me. Needless to say I didn't pay him any more and I never went to court - but I was hoping to! I contracted with a concrete company for completion of the job.

+ -1 moreDid not go well. After the work was completed, the owner called and told that they wanted more money. I said no. I paid what we had agreed, but he became abusive and insulting. Later, the blower on the filter failed and the filter developed numerous leaks due to bad installation. The owner refused to support the warranty. I would absolutely never use them again.
Description of Work: Installed AquaDyne bead filter and UV sterilizer in the existing Koi pond. They renovated the bottom drain to connect for pool design.
