+ -1 moreKen really helped us out of a tight spot: Our original inspector cancelled and Ken was able to rearrange his schedule to fit us in with only one day's notice. Ken and his son showed up right on time and they performed a very thorough and professional inspection. The completed report was very easy to read and understand. The price was very competitive and I found Ken and his son very easy to work with.

Description of Work: Ken was recommended to me by my real estate agent. He completed a home inspection of a home I did purchase. He arrived on time and was very thorough. He verbally discussed items that needed attention and his written report captured everything. I found his information when 5 years later I was preparing the house for sale but decided not to have a pre- inspection at all. Would definitely call again.

+ -1 moreI found Mr. Melton's service to be prompt, thorough and courteous on both occasions. He was punctual and spent a significant amount of time with both my wife and I going over things he thought were normal and abnormal for an eighty-five year old house. He confronted the sellers of the house with problems on the Homebuying inspection ensuring the relationship between the sellers and buyers were not additionally strained. I was impressed enough with his work on my homebuying inspection that I asked him to complete a work inspection on masonry I thought was not completed properly 10 months after moving into the house. Once again he was prompt, professional and thorough. His reports are of high quality that can stand on their own in a court of law.
Description of Work: I have used Ken Melton's Homebuyer Inspections for two inspections. He did the buyers inspection on a home I purchased and subsequently did a work inspection on masonry I had problems with on a kitchen remodel. He was highly recommended by both my Realtor and mortgage lender. After working with him I am happy I took their recommendations.
