Description of Work: Encapsulation and installation of dehumidifier preceded by crawlspace cleanup and mold treatment with boracare was accomplished with a very nice final result to my personal inspection. Christian Distler-Caravetta supervised the operation and was very professional, very patient answering my many questions; and I believe negotiated a very fair price for the extent of the work performed. Subcontractors for asbestos removal, termite inspection and electrical circuit installation were also very competent, courteous and fairly priced - recognizing that the comprehensive project was not inexpensive.

Description of Work: Work has not yet been done. JES estimator examined the foundation and crawl space, took pictures, suggested solutions to our damp areas and gave us prices. We signed a contract with Russ and have been given a three day time period in May when the work will be completed. This excellent rating applies only to Russ and the office schedule and finance people. I will update again after the work is completed.

Description of Work: Sales rep came at agreed upon time to inspect the area under our house. We asked him to inspect for moisture, insulation and the condition of our foundation. We had noticed an area with cracked brick on the outside of our house, had falling insulation under the house and suspected higher than normal levels of moisture under our house. | |The rep was punctual, did a thorough inspection and gave a complete summary of what he believed the issues to be. | |His biggest concern was a crack in our foundation which he suggested could be relieved with three push piers that would restore foundation to its original height and strength. He also recommended complete removal of all insulation and vapor barrier, a replacement of the vapor barrier, sealing off of all vents under the house, leveling of ground dirt under the house and the installation of a dehumidifier with its own drain to relieve the crawl space area of any additional moisture. | |All the services that were done included life time gaurantee with free inspection at any time and transferable warranty to any future home owner. | |We were pleased with the work done, which was all completed on the predetermined schedule. Although it was expensive, JES also offered us a free one year loan to help cover the costs.

Description of Work: They came and did an inspection on work I needed to be done. They offered a solution and what I concidered a fair price. I also had 3 other foundation repair companies do the same. In the end I did not select JES.
