Description of Work: Overall satisfied. House of Gutters installation and materials were good. Price was the middle of 3 estimates. Highest bid was almost double, lowest was almost 1/2. They showed up on time and finished on time. One downspout was not installed with the proper angle for water to run out but I did not realize this until the first rain when I could check. I had to call several times but after about a month they came out and corrected the downspout. I would use them again. Price, quality and service I thought were reasonable.

Description of Work: Estimator came out to my house and that is when I was informed that the $350 deal is for "up too" 100 feet. So in other words since I have half of that I'd still have to pay the same amount. When I told him I always got other quotes he seemed to be offended and told me that I should have known about the cost and that his quote is only good for time of estimation. Well, that ended any possibility of me ever using House of Gutters.

Sorry for the confusion. The reason that we publish our pricing is to prevent exactly this type of event. Our special pricing $395 for UP to 100 feet of gutters is our minimum work order. So if your project is 50 feet of gutters the price would be $395, 80 feet $395 etc. The minimum work order is necessary for a contractor to provide service, provide material, provide labor, gas for our trucks etc and still have a slight opportunity to make a profit to keep the company running. As a courtesy to Angies List members we offer a 10% discount on this minumum, but when all is said and done this $350 still has to absorb Material, Labor, Gas, Truck Expenses Overhead and produce a profit for the company. I hope this clarification helps.

Description of Work: Provided gutters and downspouts for the entire house. I could not afford to complete the leaf guards at the time and the salesperson gave me a price that would be guaranteed for several months. All work was done quickly and clean up performed great. When I contacted about the leaf guards, they sent someone out and completed them without my presence and we completed billing over the phone. Very professional.

Description of Work: The guys who performed the service were on time and courteous. We had some issues as to where to place a portion of the downspouts on the front of my house. I spoke to the owner who was very professional and who then came to the house within the next day or so to discuss my wishes. We had a long discussion about the issue and finally we came to an agreement where we were both happy. The owner, Ray, came back the next day also to supervise the work being done. All in all, I am now happy with the placement and it all turned out well. Looks great!

[removed member name], Sorry for your perception of value of our offering. First you only paid $841, not $960 as you indicated. Second while its true you had 120 feet of gutters you also had six full length downspouts installed, we do charge for downspouts, they are not included for free. So, In light of these facts, if you re-check your math you will see that you actually did receive a fair, competitive price on your gutter project, which included a 10% discount over and above our standard pricing.

Description of Work: Replaced all gutters, trim and soffit. They were on time and worked late on second day to make sure work was done on time. The only thing I would have liked was a little better clean up but it was only minor issues that if I would have noticed I am sure they would have corrected. Overall it was great and I would use them again.

Ray responded promptly to my call and for our schedule estimate. He provided detailed information on the gutter and guard products and clearly explained the pricing. The workers arrived for the job when scheduled and worked until the job was done. They were polite and obviously experienced in performing the work required. On one section we requested a change to the tie in of an upper gutter to a lower gutter and the workers made the change without question or hesitation. Great work and good service.
Description of Work: Replace and install new gutters along rear and one side of house. Wrap facia on one section of the house and installed Rhino gutter guard on all installed gutters.

Great work from start to finish as described above.
Description of Work: House of Gutters put a metal sheathing around all my exposed wood facia and then installed new gutters as well. It took about three days. They showed up when they said they would, and cleaned up thoroughly every day. The price was a little higher than all the other quotes I received (about $800), but their professionalism and quality of work is worth it. The other offers were much lower but they were not as professional and didn't have the appearance of trust. First impressions are everything when you are dealing with strangers and money. They maintained contact with me everyday and immediately let me know of any delays or challenges. Great company.

They are great. They showed up on time, very punctual, and did the job right away. Their clean up with great. They also installed an extension below our deck so it wouldn't drain on our deck for no extra cost. Their price was also the cheapest by far.
