Hard Concrete

I replaced my entire driveway, including repainting walls. He was referred to me by a friend. They removed two field stones retaining walls and the old driveway formed up and poured taller side concrete retaining walls and then the new driveway. I was really shocked, but I never had concrete before. $7,300 for a driveway because people would pull in and say, what did you pay for it, 4 or 5,000? They were late a couple of times, but it was snowing. They couldn't really do anything anyway. They said they would be here, but then they weren't. It was snowing, so it's forgivable as far as I'm concerned. This was a really labor intensive job for them. People compliment me all of the time.

overall the work was done quickly and came out well, but very unprofessional company. I had to let them borrow a saw so they could cut the form boards since they didn't bring their own, and when they dug out the areas for the patio and shed slab, they dumped all the dirt/grass towards the back of my yard and thought I wouldn't notice. After talking to the estimator, someone did come back and haul it away.
