Phil came out and did a great job checking everything. He was very experienced and the young lady in the office, Kathy Sealy, was very helpful scheduling and setting up the appointment for the installation of the new unit. She even called me this morning to let me know that the tech was on his way. She is very, very helpful!

It went well. They came in very alert and aware of what he is doing. So far, he did a great job.

He fixed the pilot light very quickly within 5 minutes and he did something else but I did not see because the water heater is in the closet but I know he fixed everything. This company has done everything for me and I have been using them for about 30 years now.

The technician named Gerald, he did a great job & very thorough checking out the system; in addition, i wasn't able to change my air filters and without hesitation he did it for me.

It was part of the warranty that I am under. I have used them several times. They are reasonable.

First off my wife felt very uneasy with the technician. He also didn't seem to know what he was doing. She said we wanted a new thermostat and he told her he would have to rewire everything as the wires were too short. At that point my wife called me and I had her send him on his way. I found a reputable service that put in the new thermostat and vowed never to do business with Guy Smith again.

I feel they are honest and professional. I've been very pleased with their service for the past three years. They are dependable and I highly recommend this company.

Upon meeting Brian, I informed him I have a guard dog that required a special introductory procedure to keep him safe. I explained the process to him and he was very considerate toward me and patient in allowing me to bring my dog outside to meet him before coming in to the home. Upon inspection of my unit, Brian proceed to explain to me and show me any defects and/or what would be needing repair or improvements. I was impressed by his courteous, knowledgable, and informative explanation of what was needing to be done to improve my system. There was in fact mold in my indoor unit and he recommended a UV filter to be installed and a drain pipe needed to be re-routed. I went ahead and agreed to these services, which were essentially offered to me in a bundled deal to help save me a little money. I am extremely satisfied with the excellent customer service I received. Overall, Brian did a great job explaining what was needed to be done and why. I was so impressed that I signed up for their yearly maintenance plan to continue to keep my system running properly. I would definitely recommend their services to others in the area. I appreciate the high-quality of service received and will continue to recommend this company.

We found this company on Angies List hoping to find a new, trustworthy HVAC company for our rental properties. We booked them to come out for checkups on the 2 units at the discounted Angie's List price - $49/each. I was given a time window of 12-4. The repairman came at 5:15, over an hour late. The work was going fine until he checked one unit and determined it was overfilled with freon. He quoted me $149 to remove a couple pounds of freon. As a comparison, I had paid less than that a year prior to put freon it in. When I asked why it was so expensive, I received a short answer of "It's time consuming." 20 minutes later, the work was complete - therefore, I was charged $450/hr. When I brought that up with the reapirman, he offered no discussion and just asked for a payment. In my opinion, this company gladly sells inexpensive checkups only to overcharge on anything they find. I find this practice very dishonest. Combining that with their lack of punctuality and margainal professionalism, we will not be using them for any of our rental properties in the future.

Their friendly technician did a wonderful, thorough, honest job for us. I would've rated 100% A but the original appointment did not show up or call. Upon contacting them, the receptionist was very apologetic and rescheduled another appointment resulting in a punctual, timely appt. Mistakes happen.... I would recommend this company to others overall.

Have used them before. Two different days this past week they just didn't show up while I waited all day for them. Spoke to both women schedulers in the main office both times. They could care less and are too busy to need or keep your business. Look elsewhere. This has happened before.

The technician was prompt and the service was excellent.

I've been using Guy Heating and Air for about 5 years now. They've always provided good service. I originally got my furnace installed by them and now they come two times a year and check my furnace and A/C. If something happened, I know I could call them to help, though I haven't had any issues.

They provided excellent service. They showed up on time and charged a fair price.

Norman Coleman was the technician who came out. He was really patient explaining things to me and pointed out things that I may want to take care of in the future. I was very pleased with the experience.

I've been using them for years, they were recommended by my brother 18 years ago. When you have a maintenance agreement, if for any reason you have any work done, like maybe you need a new motor, or anything new, I'm a retired engineer, so I know about mechanical things, and I can probably fix my unit myself, but I'm 69, I don't do it anymore. They come out and they do the job, and I think one time I had to have a new coil put in the attic, and the price that they gave me was excellent, because I had the maintenance agreement, they reduced the price greatly if you're on maintenance agreements. Like 30% off, and I know what the price of the coil cost, because I can call different places and get the price on the coil, so I know what they cost. They're very friendly when they come out, and you can ask them questions, and I usually ask them some tough questions to see if they've got their stuff together.

It went well. I have an older A/C unit and suspected it needed to be replaced. Brian came out and confirmed my suspensions. Chuck then walked me through how the process would go, we then set up a time for the unit to be replaced. They were both on time, polite and professional, and I look forward to having them come out to replace the unit.

This was an ideal transaction. I had the inspection and quote with Chuck, a pleasant and responsive guy to deal with. When I called back, he and I ironed out the details of the job. The crew showed up on time and completed the job ahead of the estimate. Chuck and I made plans for one additional aspect of the job to be completed a few weeks later, and like clockwork, they were in punctually and out early. This was the fourth job I have contracted with them.
