Nice people, but results were just not there. Lawn deteriorated over two years. Not sure if it's the seed quality and/or fertilizer/weed products, but our yard just didn't respond. No proactive response to brown patch & lawn disease.

Outstanding. The owner, Aaron, is professional, polite, and mature/confident enough to share what he knows (which is a lot) and what he doesn't. We obtained multiple estimates from a variety of companies. GG & Second Nature was by far the best value on paper. Now that the work is completed, the character assessment we made was good but actually underestimated how integritous and committed he is to providing a quality service. No, I'm not related to him. No, I'm not getting a kickback. The guy is just an honest business person. Also, his teams (e.g. Marco, Pedro & Eric, many others) were all very conscientious of not smoking in yard, cleaning up, being polite with discussions with family (wife felt comfortable around them all), and simple things like respecting our need to have dogs boarded ahead of time. Also, office worker Cindy is very helpful. Take this simple cue to consider this company for your needs. Really.

The service could have been better. It was kind of patchy. In some areas, it is very nice and very green and in others, it is not nearly as good looking at all. It is very patchy to me. It was okay. The people were nice, but I think I could have done better. They came out not too long after I purchased the Big Deal and I paid a little extra for something. The price was a pretty good Deal. Their punctuality was quite good. They did not work together. One was talking and the other one was working and doing different things. I probably would not use them again. They were courteous.

Went fine. It seemed to help prevent new weeds.

Great service got out here 2 days of buying service and did a great job. Ended up buying a longer term contract. Excellent customer service.

Prompt. Pay was as negotiated. Grass finally started to grow as promised. Had hoped it would have been better than TruGreen. Other than cheaper cost nothing that really stuck out.

Everything went great. I finally had thick grass growing through out my lawn. I had tried it on my own for several years, but they had grass growing with in a couple weeks. You wouldn't think it would be that complicated... I signed up for their yearly maintenance plan after the initial seeding. It covers 6 visits/treatments through out the year. Each treatment is $49 and no contract is necessary.

I contacted them in advance of purchasing the yearly lawn care package. They came to my house and discussed several items, free of charge. Very knowledgeable and patient, they didn't hesitate to answer my many questions. As soon as I purchased the program they followed up quickly and performed the first scheduled service as they described during our on site meeting.

Very well!. Came quickly for a quote and after we decided on their company were quick to come and do the work. People who came were professional and did the work quickly and cleaned up everything as promised. When called a few weeks later because there was a little standing water left , they came right out and solved the issue at no cost. Thoroughly recommend this company and will turn to them in the future.

Aaron is great, he knows his stuff and you can tell he is dedicated and conscientious. Because of this, I have also utilized his firm for landscaping and for installation of landscape lights in my yard. I feel comfortable knowing if I have questions in the future he will be responsive, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend contacting him if you are looking for a good landscaping firm that gets the job done right.

We've used Guaranteed Greener Grass before based on a co-worker's recommendation. We previously signed up for their year-round treatment but had since let it lapse due to personal reasons unrelated to the company. This was a huge mistake on our part and our grass has suffered in absence of their treatments. When I saw the deal they had listed for Core Aeration and Seeding I knew that we would receive excellent service, and we weren't disappointed. We will be signing back up for their year-long service, and are delighted that they now offer soil testing and analysis.

The folks at Guaranteed Greener Grass where communicative, prompt and professional. Great deal compared to other service providers deals on Angie's List. Zero complaints and I will certainly use them in the future. Highly recommended.

The backyard of my townhome is mostly clay. After a rain, water would stand for days - leading to areas of mud for weeks. Aaron arrived on time for the estimate and explained how the problem could be resolved. He gave me a price and told me he would follow up with a written proposal after he had time to "put pencil to paper". The formal proposal was a few dollars less than he had quoted and I signed the contract. On the day of the job ,Aaron arrived and introduced me to Pedro who would be doing the work. He explained Pedro had an errand to run and would be back later in the morning to complete the job. Supplies were left in the yard and Pedro returned in about two hours. He very quickly dug a trench without damaging the cable lines that run through his path. By mid-afternoon the trench had been filled, top soil spread and the lawn seeded. After the past week of rain, my yard looks better than it ever has and has absolutely no standing water!

I ordered a package of turf care for my father who lives out of state. The locally owned company was very kind and understood how much it meant to me that his yard was taken care of. They did a good job with all the tasks that were included in the package, that my father hired them to do a fall seeding that wasn't included in the package. We both can't wait to see how it will look in the spring. Thank you.

I have been using them now for about 2 years. Trying to grow grass in a really tough front yard. They have been very responsive and listen to my concerns. We will try the backyard this year; last year they planted Bermuda sod in a portion of the yard that has done well. They are coming back this year to mix in some other grasses. Last year, this part of my yard was a dustbowl. They did a great job with the sod, filling in low spots. Great prices and knowledgeable staff.

I search for a few months to find a landscaping company that was professional and decently priced, this company was both. Aaron was prompt with an estimate, did everything he said he was going to do and was easy to get in touch with when needed. The job was well done and half the price of most of the quotes I received (which leads me to believe I was being duped with ridiculously high quotes from some companies). I will use them again and have already given their info to several friends.

They are very professional and prompt. Set and kept appointments. Tested the soil for pH, etc. My soil turned out to be particularly acidic, so they are adding limestone over the year to correct that. I have only been using them 3 months so far, but can definitely see improvement.

To date, they have done what they said they would do when they said they would do it. I will continue to do business with them.

The owner called and came out to give us an estimate. He let me know exactly what they could do to help our lawn and the best time of year to do each process. He was never pushy and answered my questions and then I told him what I wanted to do. They came back at the appropriate time to guarantee the best results for my lawn. They arrived on time and were very professional. I was extremely pleased with how careful they did each step and how they went over the yard a couple times to get full coverage. Both men were very polite and made sure they did everything I had asked them to do. They left detailed instructions for me on what to do to maximize the results. The grass seed was a high quality product that has proven very successful in our type of soil. I have also had my first lawn treatment since then and I was equally pleased with the service and quality of their products. We have seen a great improvement in our lawn and the weeds are quickly disappearing. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Aaron is very professional and customer oriented. Explained every step of the process with details. Easy to contact and responded very quickly to questions and concerns we had during our backyard renovation. We even added changes to the plans as they worked. Aaron explained some changes/recommendations from original plans to properly fix drainage issues we had in backyard. Exceptional workmanship from his crew. There were minor delays due to weather but Aaron had a second plan just in case weather was an issue and forewarned of possible delays in advance, when weather was possibly approaching. Turned our muddy, non usable backyard that had two deep swales into something from beautiful and inviting. Feel as if my backyard was flipped by HGTV.

Went well, waiting to see if my lawn looks better this year.

I can not say enough about this company. Aaron was very professional and explained every step of the process. He made sure we knew when and what the workers would be doing. We also contracted a fence and plumbing company. He took time to meet with other contractors to make sure there was not any conflicts between different companies. When you haven't dealt with projects, you tend to have a lot of questions. With this company, no question was left unanswered nor frowned upon. I have two large dogs, so having the yard disarray for a while was not an option for us. This company did not drag their feet. They will be a company I will stay with and recommend to everyone.
