GREEN RUN HEATING & COOLING

Would not recommend this company. My son has a home warranty company (would not recommend) and they selected Green Run Mechanical to repairs on his AC. After them not showing up to multiple appointments to access the problem, Caleb showed up and said that the unit was low on R22 refrigerant and had to wait for the warranty company for approval before proceeding with a solution. Got approval on Friday, but No one from Green Run Mechanical would return my sons calls… so he asked me to try. Caleb responded to my call with a text asking how he could help. I called him and spoke with him on a Friday… he said that he could see the authorization from the warranty company and that the earliest he could set an appointment would be on Monday between 11am and 3pm and assured he would be there to take care of it. Monday comes and once again Caleb was a no show. No call and did not answer or respond to calls or texts from both me and my son. Do not use this company and save yourselves from a ton of frustration from a company that doesn’t have the common courtesy and professional to come to appointments that they set up or to even return phone calls and texts.

I was referred to Green Run Heating and cooking after many years of horrible service with RA Styron Company note: it was a particular tech that worked for them, who is no longer employed. Anyway Brian sent his tech Matt out to help me identify a noise in our problematic combined unit. Within literally 20 minutes of arriving a problem that no one could find was solved. We are now talking about replacing a heat pump system with them right now! Can’t say enough about them. They are great!

I was not the owner of the house at the time the heating system was replaced and do not know what warranty was offered/given when replaced, but since there was a problem with something they installed, they just charged me for the looking for the problem. The parts and service charges were not charged to me and I am very satisfied with the work and the professionalism. They showed up on time and were very professional. I would recommend them and I will use them the next time I replace anything with the heating systems in the house.

Green Run installed a furnace for us when the oil boiler quit working the day after we bought our house. They were great in every aspect: price, professionalism, punctuality, and quality. Since it was February, we were in a hurry and they got it done fast -- at a better price than the other estimates we got. Since then they have also performed some maintenance on our older AC unit that we aren't quite ready to replace yet. (Green Run is definitely who we'll call when that time comes!) Highly recommended!

They are honest people, hard workers and dependable. Their pricing was excellent.

I had gotten an estimate over three years (2009) ago for what it would cost to replace my hot water heater and my air handler (heater). I have an Apollo heating system, so my heat runs off the hot water heater. It was a year later (2010) when I was finally able to replace the hot water heater. I called Brian back and asked if he would still honor the price he quoted me a year earlier. He did. So, this month, when I was finally able to replace my heater I called him back. He asked what the heater type was that was on the quote, and when I told him, his quote was within $100 of the quote 3 years ago. The two young men that came to due the work were on time and worked diligently for over 4 hours to replace the unit. It is in the attic, and not easy to maneuver. They ended up having to drain my hot water heater because shut off valves were not installed. So, in addition to the heater/air handler they also installed the valves on the hot water heater at no cost to me because they said it should have been done when it was replaced. I appreciated their honesty. I would not have known that was standard to have. I thought their price was fair and the work was done well and in the time they said it would be. I would use them again.

They were wonderful. Brian is excellent. He is a good customer person. They came in and got right down on it. We had all kinds of stuff going on at the same time in the house and under the house; they were tearing up floors, but they were great and worked around it.

Excellent service - always. I've used and referred Green Run Heating and Air more than a dozen times. Everyone I've sent them to have also been pleased with their services. Great Service and I don't fell I have ever been ripped off by them.

I'm a Realtor and have used Green Run Heating and Cooling (Brian) many times both personally and professionally over the past few years. For my profession I have a list of HVAC mechanics in my arsenal to select from- This company was referred to me by another Realtor when MY (now ex) company couldn't get to me for a few days. My decision to use them again was based on how well I was treated in the past. (read: Over the years, I've waited many hours for servicemen to show; if they showed) I made an S.O.S. call directly to Brian in the morning and they were there within a few hours; keeping me informed via phone of their estimated time of arrival. They climbed in the attic (hot as it was!) and checked my outside unit until they found the problem. They had the part (something blew in the attic) needed on their truck and, most importantly, waited around to make sure the unit was cooling properly. I really can't say enough nice things about Brian and Green Run Heating and Cooling. Total, they were there a little over an hour and half - Overall: Super fast response to my S.O.S, showed up when they said they would, in the intense HEAT and FIXED the problem!! I felt I underpaid for the service they provided. I will never use another company to take care of my heating and air conditioning systems.
