Excellent work! This is the second time Grant Plastering has done work for me. They are thorough, professional and do a quality job.

Fast and efficient. Superior workmanship! Repaired water damaged ceiling in a closet including the hole cut out for piping repair. You would never guess the ceiling had been damaged. It looks terrific!

Excellent workmanship and fair pricing. I needed popcorn ceilings repaired in several areas, and needed it done quickly as the property was vacant. Dean was able to come out on the afternoon I contacted him to review and quote the job. He was then able to fit me in later in the same week. Dean and his team take care to properly prep the work areas to ensure minimal dust and debris outside of the work areas. They completed my job in a single day, and cleaned up nicely afterwards. You would never know they were in the property. My ceilings look new again. I will definitely call Grant Drywall the next time I need drywall services.

Dean and his partner showed up promptly and immediately began to cover floors, stairs and walls with cloth and plastic. This showed me that he take pride in keeping the customers home in the area he will be working in to include the entrance to my home. My ceilings look better than new, they look AWESOME! I will be contacting Grant Drywall for me ceilings to repair.

Dean and his team did a fantastic job. They are truly the best of the best - meticulous, extremely hard-working, professional, and easy to work with. We have textured walls in most of our home (knockdown) and the drywall/plastering repairs were so well done that you would never know that repairs took place. It was obvious to us that this contractor takes pride in the quality of their work (unlike the original home builder). If you want the job done right, this is the contractor for you. We would hire Grant Drywall & Plastering again in a heartbeat.

Contacted Grant Drywall after reading positive review on Angies List. He came out, gave me a quick quote and completed the work a day letter. They covered the floor, hung dust barriers and made sure there was no mess. They left the area as it was before and I could not tell if there was a repair done! He and his partners were very professional and thorough. They made sure that they matched the plaster mini swirls I have on the ceiling. Overall, I was very pleased with their work and would definitely hire them again if needed.

Grant Drywall showed up on time. The quality of the work was excellent. The worker first put out canvas to cover the floors from the house entry to the bathroom. Drywall was hung and plastered to match existing drywall. The patches in the living room ceiling were excellent and a through cleanup after the drywall was completed was performed.

Came and repaired two areas. One area was small and the other was a medium size. Great Job!! I couldn't tell where the repairs had been made. Very courteous and professional. I would definitely use them again. The price was very reasonable compared to other quotes.

He made up a quote and said he wouldn't hit the durock for the shower but he could take care of energything else the next day. After he left he called back and said he could actually reschedule for the same day as quote so around 1pm came back over. Stayed at the house for 4 or 5 hours with a partner and took care of it all. He even laid down drop cloth to avoid any mess. After he left I couldn't find any mess or any problems. Would def use him again. Thanks Dean.

He was very busy after a recent hurricane. His office contacted me quickly. When he was able to talk to me directly, he was able to schedule within a few days. He arrived promptly and quickly finished. Cleaned afterwards. Results were an excellent match to existing plaster. Extremely satisfied and would absolutely use him again in the future.

Dean did an excellent job removing and replacing the bedroom ceiling and matching in the swirl plaster. He is extremely neat by using plastic and drop cloths in the bedroom and all the way to the bedroom. I will defiantly use him next time

The work was done within one day, took a few hours, and came out perfectly. He left the area as clean as it was before he came. Great value for the work done, I would hire him again.

This is my second time using Grant Drywall. It was a small job so he fit me in as soon as he could. He came, laid dropcloths as a path through my home, laid plastic on top of my hutch and floor and expertly and quickly, removed the existing repairs, popped in new pieces of drywall and taped and mudded. Whole job, soup to nuts took about 2 hours. Excellent results. Dean is very knowledgeable and personable as well.

Grant Drywall did an excellent job! Kept in contact with me via text as to when they would be at my house. Tarps were laid down as a path through my house and plastic was taped to cover my floor where the repair was taking place. They worked quickly and efficiently and I am very happy with the results. I would most definitely use them again.

I was extremely satisfied with the repairs to our house. Dean gave a thorough explanation of the issues/solution for the cracks in the ceiling and offered a competitive price. He was able to rearrange his schedule to perform the work on my rushed schedule. He and the other gentleman who performed the work were careful to protect our home and the repairs are excellent. Dean obviously cares about maintaining an excellent reputation, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Everything was done very professional. Cleaned up like nothing was ever done. It was a big job a full room to be plastered and a swirled patched in the hall way. Repaired three celling and repaired a bathroom wall. We are very pleased & will give his name to anyone we know.

I called Grant Drywall for an estimate to repair about a 3'x3' hole in the ceiling caused by a leaking HVAC condensation line. He asked if I could send a picture of the damage and he sent me a quote based off the picture. This was very convenient for me since this is a rental property and I didn't have to make a trip out for an estimate. He showed up on time and completed the job within the timeframe provided. The repair looks great and can't tell that there was ever any damage. After he finished, he cleaned up the job site and left it as clean as it was before he started. Very pleased with the result and highly recommend Grant Drywall.

4/5/14 Dean Bullard and his son Josh did an outstanding job fixing a variety of cracks in the ceilings and walls throughout our home. They arrived on time, spent a great deal of time carefully moving furniture out and covering the floors and adjacent area with plastic to keep the dust contained. Dean's perfectionism to detail was obvious when they were done as everything looked terrific. They made sure the dust was not an issue, moved everything back and the home looked as they had never been there. They were with us the entire day. They charged $950 which was the most reasonable estimate I received and that included repairs on several skylights that were not easy to access. I would be proud to recommend them, as well as to use them for future repairs. Can't imagine we have a better plastering team in all of Tidewater!

Excellent workmanship. Responded to a short fused request when another "A" lister on Angie's list bailed on me. Got the work done that day. Prompt, quick and efficient. I've already recommended him and will use him again.

He showed up for an initial free estimate and offered to do the job at that very moment. We accepted and he began work immediately. The job ended up taking longer than probably expected, but he kept a very professional work ethic. He had everything he needed for the job right on his truck. He went above and beyond our expectations. The wall looked like it never even had an issue.

Excellent work. Showed up early everyday. Worked tirelessly and the project was complete in a few days. We have used Dean (Grant Drywall) many, many times as far back as 16 years ago. We highly recommend him.

Contractor came to my home and looked at the damaged ceiling area and stated repair work would take about approximately 3 hours. He was accurate given an additional 30 minutes for his cleaning up the area. Contractor wrote price of repair on back of his business card. Contractor protected surrounding work area with plastic and cleaned area when finished. Ceiling looked very good and their was no trace of where the ceiling area with popcorn texture had been damaged. Repair blended with well with rest of ceiling area. I was very impressed with his work but concerned when he stated he could do the repair right then. I took a chance and he stated if I was not pleased I did not have to pay him. However, I was not comfortable that the contractor did not give me a written receipt or work invoice/statement with description of work performed. I really stepped out on faith because I am very hesitant in allowing a contractor to perform work for me without a written contract. I have had bad experiences with contractors not following through and not performing work as stated/promised. In addition I usually have at least three contractors give me an written estimate and explain to me what or how work will be performed. I called two other contractors' on Angie's list and this is the only contractor who returned my call. One of the other two I called returned my phone call but did not follow through. The other contractor did not call back.

Great job. Cannot tell where the repair was done. I have rough swirled plaster and the repair work is perfect.

Dean knows everything about drywall--from shutting off air vents while plastering to how long drying will take. He takes special care to cover everything to prevent dust trails. A true professional with years of experience.
